This is a late review, but I wanted to thank the nice lady that worked in the fish department. I went there asking for advice for my sick black moor golfish, she was very professional and knew what she was talking about. She recommended me an antibiotic that saved the life of my fish. Thank you!

Best pet store around!the animal care, the knowledge of the employees, the selection of items and quality is far beyond what you would expect from a local chain store.i recently bought a leopard gecko from here with the help of Anna, one of the employees who has been there 10+ years. she was very helpful and definitely knew what she was talking about. I heard of the place asking around where i could buy dubias for my bearded dragon (the only place around that sells any other feeders that crickets) and after i saw the geckos i knew i had to come back for a certain one i fell in love with. He is absolutely beautiful, acclimated perfectly is in impeccable condition.i also made sure to get some snacks for my dogs, they had an amazing selection of good quality brands i’d never even seen before. So so happy i found this place and my boy!

I do love shopping here when it comes to all of my rabbit needs. However the selection they have for cat food has me disappointed. I wanted to be able to do more shopping here and support them more. However I am not sure considering the selection in cat food.

Caring. The friends they sell are all FRIENDLY and well taken care of. The staff is very nice and never pushy or on top of you. This is very important when getting a pet so there’s as little stress on the animal or the owner. Nothing worse than a salesperson forcing something so important. These folks care. They’ve let me take all the time I needed observing behaviors and temperaments when buying my family’s rabbits. Big pet stores can be helpful in a pinch but, if at all possible, make Animal Instincts your go to for your pets needs and your animals will thank you. Ive went here for as long as i can remember. For my snakes and geckos. The Owner and staff are amazing and have great knowledge of anything you need to know. Even after moving to NH i will still travel back just to support this store and see the changes:)

It's a little bit of a drive for me, but I go here for live food for my snake. They are always so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have helped me pick out the right items I need for my snake. It's worth the drive.

I highly reccomend this shop.After looking for a crested gecko for awhile I was told to check this shop out. Very helpful staff!!! The shop is set up nice and not to mention their prices are extremely reasonable. First place I had been to that I did not feel I was being ripped off. Their geckos were all adorable .. Although I ended up falling inlove with one of their adopted babies . pic of my baby Luna who is doing amazing!

I came in for the first time this afternoon and to say I was blown away is an understatement. I have never seen such a wide selection of healthy, happy fish. When someone was available to talk to me, I was carefully guided through all my options and shown the highest level of customer care I could ask for. They weren't pushy or pretentious at all but definitely passionate about the hobby and want you to succeed. They're even special ordering goldfish for me if available, no deposit or commitment required. I walked out with $80 worth of plants, fish, and food (a very reasonable price for everything I got) and a renewed excitement for my tanks. Can't thank you guys enough!

You will be blown away with the knowledge, cleanliness, friendliness, and selections. This place is my go to for my whole life they have healthy fish and animals and reptiles. My turtle Herby I gave to them and he travels to schools with them because of his age and deformations and they take great care of him.(he's not for sale)

I L O V E this place I’ve gotten 4 parakeets from here 3 have passed but my second one I’ve ever bought is going on 8 years old now!! I’ve also gotten a turtle from here and I love all these animals so much sometimes I’ll bike there just to visit the animals and the lovely and lively birds and rabbits!

I wanted to thank the coral guy. For months I have been having difficulty with my torch coral. He was extremely knowledgeable, suggested I started tracking mag levels more closely, now my torn is much happier and healtier.

Can't stop coming back here. First bought a guinea pig, healthy and happy, and now I'm addicted to their fish. Very knowledgeable staff and the healthiest animals I've seen available to public. Be prepared to spend a little more than at a chain store, but the quality and peace of mind regarding animal care is well worth it. They can also order in any aquatics you'd need from their own reputable breeders, and the owners often will personally hand pick the selections rather than bulk order.

I absolutely LOVE this little store! I go in here every couple days for crickets and they are super helpful and always in a great mood. The gentleman that's usually in back with the fish is one of my sons favorite people ever lol. Would recommend to absolutely anyone with pets looking for a more personal environment. 5 stars is an understatement

I've been coming here for 29 years. Great place to come for Freshwater, Saltwater, or Small Animal needs. Also a great supply of dog and cat food. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Bob the owner is Awesome! Don't hesitate to give them a visit, you won't be sorry.

Looks are deceiving this place is definitely bigger than it looks from the street. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. One in particular was very pleasant answering questions from my 5 year old granddaughter about the hamsters she was feeding

It's about time I leave this review . My absolute favorite local shop to go to for my pet needs whether that be my snake or my salt water aquarium . I've gotten to know the employees pretty well, especially Shane in the fish section . He cares about quality rather than just selling items . He convinced me not to buy something because it wasn't quality . Extremely knowledgeable guy and extremely helpful for getting me back into the hobby again .

the staff that worked here we're super super nice and very knowledgeable. we got our first rabbit. I have had rabbits in the past but they really filled me in on what I forgot. very very nice people. He's a little shy and sorry for the pic of him behind my toilet, but he has picked his most comfortable spot there. ❤🐰🐾

Been going for years. The owner is passionate for his field. The animals are well taken care of and the information available is top notch! They have a great team over there. That being said some things can be pricy depending on what you're getting. Athough on the same token I've also gotten some of the best deals ever here when it comes to taking care of my 2 snakes, lizard and cats. Hope this place stays around forever!
