We have been coming here for years for bathing our dogs. Last month we came in and the employee insisted on giving us a new “punch card” bc our original one was in rough shape. Mind you we only had one more wash left on that card. Well we came today to use our last wash and upon checking my wallet I realized we were never given the new card or original card back last month. I asked if it could be pulled up on my account considering they have to check your account every wash you use and was told there was absolutely no way for them to track how many washes we had left, & the only information tracked on our account was when the package was originally bought. Zero effort was made by the manager to rectify this issue and we were expected to forfeit our last prepaid wash and purchase an additional one. No thanks! Seems customer service isn’t a priority.

Bought our fur baby dwarf hamster here. He's very docile and lazy. They recommend certain ways of taking care of them but that's up to the pet owner, you'll find slightly different advice everywhere. Every pet has a different personality too, one needs to run around while another just wants to sleep all the time.

We love buying fish here, we come all the time. They have good varieties and we end up always buying a lot because we have 2 big fish tanks. The best time to come here is Friday for they re-stock every Thursday. Very nice staff too, easy to approach. Just a little disappointed with cashier about their discount coupon. Just remember to bring with you your flyer that they send thru the mail if you want to avail because they don't give you any consideration.

This store is very well stocked. The live animals - fish, guinea pigs, gerbils, birds, etc appear healthy and well cared for. We purchased some fish from one of multiple aquariums. They are healthy and happy in their new home. We overheard some teaching being done prior to the sale of a small animal. She made good recommendations about food, supplements, cage and toys. Sara was very knowledgeable and we welcomed her suggestions.

It was AWESOME coming here to get my dog groomed. My dogs brother was very anxious to get his nails, cut but the two works they were AMAZING handling him. Definitely recommend.

I've been going to this Pet Supplies Plus for a couple years. I love taking my dog to use their self-wash facilities in-between grooming. They have everything you need from the shampoo/conditioner, to the dryer, towels, etc....no mess at home and for an amazing price. Also, for the first time I tried their nail clipping service and they were wonderful. I felt my dog was in safe hands the whole time and the gentleman that did the trimming was so informative. Really glad I went there!

I came in to purchase fish. I have had fish for years. It’s one of my hobbies. First thing I noticed were 4-5 dead betta’s, and some of the fish tanks looked horrendous. I spoke with a girl, Michaela (not sure I’m spelling that correctly), the teenager with the wig that works in the back. I explained what I wanted and she was suggesting all types of extra things that I already told her I didn’t need as I already have fish and complete set-ups. She looked me right in the eyes and told me I should not own fish if I wasn’t going to purchase the items she listed to me. I explained, AGAIN, I didn’t need any extra supplies. She refused to sell the fish to me, shrugged and walked away. I have never in my 34 years been treated like that by an employee of a store, and a teenager at that! Completely rude! I hope management sees this and teaches her some quality customer service. As a consumer I’d expect a pet store to have clean tanks, and fish that are alive. Very unprofessional, and because of that, I will not be coming back. I will switch my dogs from Redford to something else. I don’t want to give my money to a store that treats their customers that poorly. Melissa’s down the street had more to offer and the employees have respect. If anyone is thinking about purchasing fish, or any other animal for that matter, go take a look at the conditions those animals have to live in. I guarantee you’ll turn around and leave. Zero stars from me!

I came in today for a nail trim for my very anxious pitbull and the two workers ( didn’t get their names) were absolutely AMAZING with making sure to not nip him and to make sure he was safe! I appreciate them to the fullest!

Team members were friendly and knowledgeable, as usual. I bought crickets for my leopard gecko and the crickets are always so healthy and last long. I never have a bunch of dead ones in a couple of days, as with competitors’ products.I enjoy coming into the store weekly.

Great pet supply shop. Customer service is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable about a widespread verity of pets, with good/fair prices on most items. I just wish they had more of a selection for things such as hides for geckos and what not. It's the same two or three items while they have several dozen different things for a fish tank they only have 3 different types of hides, which leaves myself and a lot of other gecko owners going to the other pet shops to buy hides and tank decor.

I have been having a difficult time with my cat’s health and recently got results that my cat is pretty much allergic to everything!!! Which meant I could no longer give him the foods I was previously giving him. In a panic, I called the Fairhaven store and talked to the store manage Eric. Eric was extremely helpful, and what a great leader! He allowed me to send over my cats results, and then Sarah was like an angel who studied my cats results meticulously, and aided me in finding some products my fur baby could consume. Sarah was patient, kind, and a real-life angel! These people treated me like family, which means a lot after everything me and my cat Pikachu have been through! I cannot express or highlight enough how helpful, kind, and knowledgeable both Sarah and Eric were. Both individuals were heaven sent! Great hires PET SUPPLIES PLUS.Acts of kindness like these are the reason I choose this store & location over all other pet stores!

This is the second time I have done curb side pick up and they are very accommodating. It doesn’t matter how much you buy. They brought the order out and put it right in my hatchback. They also put a thank you note in your order. I recommend Pet Supplies Plus in Fairhaven for all your pet needs!
