My experience at PetSmart in Everett, Massachusetts, was average. The store offers a decent variety of pet products, but I thought the selection could be more diverse, especially in terms of food brands and accessories. The customer service was reasonable, although on some occasions I have felt a lack of availability of employees to help. In addition, I thought that the prices could be a little more competitive compared to other pet product stores in the region. Overall, the experience at PetSmart was satisfactory, but there is room for improvement in terms of product variety and customer service.

I typically go to the PetSmart in Saugus for small trims/ baths and they are pretty good. We decided to pay for him to get a full body cut in Everett which we were told would take about 4 hours. About 2 hours later (after the bath and dry), we get a call saying that they couldn't trim him because he was trying to "play". Yet they charged full price for taking a little fur off the top of his head. I think that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard

This has been our go-to Petsmart for the past year of living on this side of Boston. During this time we enrolled both of our puppies in their beginner and intermediate training courses. Karen, our instructor, was AMAZING! We have Shiba-Inus, which can be a bit stubborn at times, but she was so patient with them. She was also flexible with us in rescheduling any courses that we could not attend due to conflicts in our schedule.If we were not moving out of state we would definitely be doing the advanced training classes with her. 10/10 recommend!

I arrived at the store with all the intentions of buying a goldfish, but not just any fish wanted one that I would like. When I arrived I saw many dead fish, some fish eating the remains of others, I liked a fish with black and white spots, there was a man with glasses, I told him that if he could sell me a goldfish and I showed him which one I wanted, he told me that he could sell me the fish, but that it would not be a specific fish that could be any fish in the tank, it seemed quite enough to me. Strange that, I am the customer and I am paying for my fish, and I decide which fish I will take home, he insisted that he would give me any other fish, I told him it was fine that I did not want the fish, then he looked at me and took out the fish that I wanted to buy, which seems very disrespectful to me, I think they have to educate their workers more, and remove the dead fish, which is really quite bad...

How to start, We have a 5 month old service dog in training, he’s a schnauzer who was in need of a wash and nails cut. I stated to Emely that he’s a baby and will be challenging.Emily texted frantic she’s having problems with the dog, he’s attacking her ect…she was asked where did you get bitten, scratches nothing she had zero marks….I entered the grooming services area to run into Emily talking to the dog like he’s from the Hood and I know because I was raised in Roxbury. It’s 5 month old puppy? “Yo Bro you’re not getting away with that” extremely angry? Super loud top and f her lungs, It’s 9am on a Sunday…Im thinking is this her first dog ever? but what’s funny her coworker very calm and self aware of how it may look stated puppy schnauzer do get nervous ect, very well read and very much into the social and technical part of the grooming world. Emily struggles with keeping herself composed. Emily when challenged pushed the stress to a 5 month old creature, stated this dog needs lots of training? Yes I told you in the beginning Emily it’s a baby in training, empathy and patience is not part of your repertoire… May I add one more thing the length of her nails leads me to believe she’s not aware of how physical her career can be. 3 inch long nails with decore and dazzled to the top,my fault for not calling that out to myself… I also canceled the puppy to adult hood training due to this individual. I don’t blame her for her shortcoming, at the end of the day it’s up to the district manager to explain the value of a customer who uses that service. If the service is a fail it could break the relationship just from the failed interaction. The manager would be the next to get the blame for allowing this behavior to continue. I can’t blame her….SOP has it’s value and needs to be implemented in all 1 o 1 coaching. At the end employees quit managers not companies and that’s due for failing to explain S.O.P.Ps gave the puppy a bath ourselves and made new relationship with a different pet shop. PETSMART you won’t see us ever again ,you can count me out from your organic growth report, and your P&L…“YO BRO WE’RE DONE, BRO” “NO CAP EMILY”

Terrible! The poor animals are in terrible living conditions. It’s so sad walking in there and seeing hamsters in filthy tiny cages. I also saw a couple reptiles without water dying… I told 2 of the worker there what I saw and they seemed indifferent and one told me “don’t worry about it.” Someone needs to do something about this, close this place down or hire workers who care about the well-being of these animals.

Such a good crew in there, I was renting a vacuum & the person in charge made sure the rest of the team was watching and explained it to them as well as it’s something that doesn’t happen as often. The cashiers were so sweet and they were greeting people as they were walking in as well. Great location & crew that makes it so! 🤗

I just love the experience of going into a store with the intention of learning about another aspect of life and how that can be rewarded with growth opportunities that only serve to complete the human experience in life. I found the staff to be cordial and were centered around the well-being of the animals as they provide vet services and up to 14 day guarantee on all livestock they sell to be brought back for care. (I’ve been to more than a few pet stores that don’t provide this additional layer of protection.) All stores I’ve entered appear to clean, neat and organized.

I usually have a good experience at this petsmart however this past Sunday I had the worst experience with an employee. I spoke with the dog trainer named miss lemons regarding possibly signing up for a class however the trainer seemed annoyed that I would even ask. She gave me an attitude and even started talking to me slowly as if I didn't understand what she was saying. I gave no implications that I couldn't understand her. The only reason that I can think of that she would speak to me like that is my Spanish accent. I told her that I speak English and to speak to me normal. She then raised her voice at me. I was so upset I just left without making any purchases. Being a senior citizen does not excuse bad behavior and racisim.

Neila and Stephanie were the nicest people and the so caring for my first time there. they took care of my dog and she came out looking so good!! definitely will be coming back, it’s not too pricey and they are lovely and nice with dogs.

I used to work here. GM and another manager pinned me in the office for 45 minutes and interrogated me after a coworker told them about the fact that I use different pronouns on Facebook than I was using in person (for my safety). They pretty much demanded that I out myself to everyone I know who came into the store, including my family. Been a few years but back when it happened I reached out to his superiors and they told me there was “nothing they could do about it”. I don’t wanna be silent on this anymore.I also got reamed out by another manager for recommending Purina to customers, and for educating people on why keeping fish in quarter gallon bowls wasn’t good for them. I hope things have gotten better over the years. I doubt it though.

I recently adopted my dog and enrolled him in their level 1 training course with instructor Karen. I had a wonderful experience and me and my dog always looked forward to the classes! Karen is compassionate, professional, knowledgeable and you can tell she truly loves working with the dogs in her class. She is great at meeting clients where they are at and goes above and beyond. Definitely recommend the class!

Hi I have a bearded dragon there and he is about 15 months now and a little under weight a staff member very nice advised me to feed it wax worms for about a week and check his weight I’ve bought 1 container of waxworms 35ct and only 15 were alive and I threw away about 5 black ones not even the whole 35 were in the container. I go back today explain my situation to the cashier I purchase 2 50ct she started to get aggravated and proceeded to question what I had asked “ if I’m paying for 50 ct and more than half are dead what can I do return the dead ones for a refund or do lo I lose my money?” She stated the containers do not come with more than half dead. So I still purchased them and came straight home and in the pictures are the results of just 1 container 14 alive and 38 dead soo PETSMART what are we the customers supposed to do in these cases because we have to travel to the store more than 1 time to get the correct amount of bugs to feed our animals and it’s shouldn’t be like that.

If I can give no star I would. I bought fish there. They sold me sick fish, after I brought it home and put in my tank I realized. My other fish got ich too. Went back to store and tried to talk with manager. She didn’t have idea what am I talking about, she couldn’t help me on any way, she had to call someone else to help me and he recommended me to buy some liquid. Liquid didn’t help, my fish are dying. I am so mad that they are selling sick fish and don’t have any control. If you go there you will see so many dead fish. The way they keep fish there is really bad.I honestly recommend you to not buy fish at this store!!!!!!Pink one is the fish I got at Patco and I have it over 6 months. Purple one I got at PetSmart some days ago. This is so sad that I am losing them.

I have had a terrible experience buying fish at this petsmart. I recently bought a glofish to accompany my current glofish, noticed it was acting strange and not eating, and then two days later saw a huge abscess on his side. At that point I quarantined the new fish and returned him. My old glofish who has been with me for almost a year is now showing signs of an infection. I’ve been a fish owner for almost 10 years, this is just one example of the fish I have gotten from this particular petsmart over the last 2 years. I have also received a dead snail from them, was told it was just “low activity” when in reality the snail was dead (confirmed after quarantining the snail and it was entirely out of its shell). Would avoid this petsmart for fish parents

Worse experience today. My dog had a grooming appointment with Belinda at 10am and we arrived at 9:49am. They told me that he was going to be ready at 12 and when I arrived, she have not even started. My dog is senior and it was to much stress for him. I had to wait until 1:47 pm. It was too much and the groomer just didn't care. Never again!! Their excuse was that my dog is old and is a husky but the truth is that they just did others dogs (during my time) and left mine behind.

I had an appointment for my puppy and Liz A. canceled since she was very negligent and rude telling me that my dog didn't have the rabies vaccine just bc she won't to look on my vaccine cards, she probably doesn't have the knowledge of what means N-RB by Peek..witch it appears on the vaccine card. The saw my another dog one day before and I didn't have any problem at all!!

I wasn't able to find what I was looking for however the customer svc was extremely knowledgeable about their products they carry and was quick to let me know they did not carry the brand Kong harnesses. Would go back! Definitely recommend!

For the entire courses we were asked to stand outside the classroom. We come early to let her get familiar with the environment, Karen still refused let us let us in the classroom even it is nobody here. And told us we should only consider take the lesson outside the room. Even though later my dog was getting well with other dogs, Karen insisted refusing to let us in and the reason is we looked uncomfortable in the classroom. We are reasonable parents, and willing to accept solutions best for every dogs' parents. But this time in Karen's intermedia course at pet smart, we feel being treat different and discriminated. Never come to this Everett dog smart again!
