Generally expensive compared to a Market Basket. Although, much larger variety and more presentable than a Market Basket. I still cannot give a high rating to any stores that charge for paper bags. I understand and supprt the need to phase out plastic as a whole, but I'm not walking out of the store balancing groceries on my head so being coerced into paying for completely recyclable and biodegradable paper is nothing else but a way to offset the cost of them onto the customer. It's just corporate greed masked as positive ecological intention.

The manager at this location is creepy. This guy try’s to flirt with my girlfriend and talk to her every time she is in the store harassing her. He is also extremely rude to his employees from the looks of it. Not to mention he should be more focused on improving the store because nothing is stocked and he doesn’t seem to know any questions when asked.

Nicely equipped newer/remodeled locations in my local area with the fuller range of available grocery/prepared food/made to order departments soooo... for now as far as condition & services they're up there*! 👍🏽*their savings Labeling is weird in one way I’ve seen though...Some discounted cuts have “reduced price” yellow sticker showing the price that will ring at the register whilst others have a “additional savings” sticker which shows the dollar amount that will be taken off of the original price tag. I don’t know why they do it this way because I sometimes have to search down the receipt to ensure the latter style was actually taken off the total. It’s just weird big Y, don’t make customers on the go have to double check labels and do POS/receipts checks 😆 … 😩

The people that work there are nice and their seafood is always fresh but their prices are way too high.

Good grocery store. If you plan well, they offer some great deals in their weekly ad. Wide aisles and nice layout. Very friendly staff

We love Big Y. Everything is always fresh and they usually have our favorite brands. I also love that they have freshly ground peanut butter daily... This stuff is life changing. They're bakery options are very good and fresh, the deli and precooked sections are fabulous and the service is always great. A little pricier than I'd prefer, but they're spending every dime on the experience.

On June 29, 2023, while parking my cart, I found woman’s bag with wallet and cell phone in another cart that was returned. As the phone was still unlocked, I texted the last person the lady who lost her bag texted, left my cell phone number, and indicated that not to worry, that I found this bag and phone, and to contact me. I then drove to Easton police to return it so they can locate the owner. Without reviewing any footage from the cameras, the manager from Big Y called Easton police and told them that I stole the bag from her cart. This resulted in me being treated as a thief upon arrival to the Easton police and not as a Good Samaritan. I was also charged with larceny for about 10 devastating minutes until the officer looked at the texts in woman’s phone at my insistence and dropped the charges. The manager should have looked at the video footage before providing false information to police about me stealing the purse. I am a Good Samaritan that suffered as a result of his actions. If he simply took time to figure things out and get to the bottom of it before taking rush actions, everyone would benefit from it. What he did was provide false information to police without reviewing evidence, which has severe consequences to the innocent person: me. I have been shopping at Big Y since it opened. This false info almost made me lose my job in finance and income for my family. Please think next time before doing something so radical.

The store is really nice. It’s always clean and well stocked. The seafood department on the other hand is usually not in good shape. I got fish and it was not good. I am an avid seafood eater and the quality is subpar on both frozen and fresh. I will be looking at other places for my seafood.

I like the store a lot. Their produce is one of the better selections around. And when it came time to return something, there were no questions asked and they just took it right back and gave me a refund. I tend to primarily shop the Big y for my groceries 😀

Big Y is much cleaner and friendlier than Stop & Shop and I shop there every week. However, the deli and milk cases need more attention. The glass deli cases are always covered in fingerprints and the spilled milk needs wiped up otherwise the area smells. Selection of food is very good and quality of produce is superb. Than you

Friendly people and fresh foods are both strengths for this place. It's also a reasonable size so that you don't have to spend a million years trying to get the things on your list. Great checkout. Sunday afternoons are busy so beware but mornings and early afternoon are easy checkout. Friendly people which means they like working there. Bigy is family owned. Great in store bakery: a step above your average supermarket bakery. Deli - World Class meats and cheeses are excellent. In store, they'll make sushi, pizza, subs, and seafood dinners to order. All are delicious. Great meat and seafood counters too. Lots of specialty dietary items for allergies etc. as well as locally and regionally sourced items throughout the store. Great kosher food collection as well. Prices can be iffy but hands down in the silver sales, they are highly competitive. Watch for your favorite items and stock up. Try this great store.

I'm here everyday. The staff always pleasant, problem solving, efficient and genuinely happy to see you. Love the inspiration product line. The demonstrator Darlene always showing great new items. The store is bright and clean. It's a treat to poke at the 50 percent off table too. Love the idea of the Thanksgiving boxes to purchase and it goes to a local food Bank of your choice. Giving made easy.

I actually really enjoy this store. Unfortunately they are merging with a company and soon they will be called "The Big Y" or why. I really hope they don't change the way the store is set up because that is one of the reasons why I love it so much. It is warm and inviting in there. The aisles are big, not a whole lot of walking but plenty of room, everything is labeled and not confusing, the workers are great to talk to and very knowledgeable, and many other things. Oh yes and their prices are the best.

The Big Y in Easton MA was a very pleasant experience for me. I obtained a card which allowed me to take advantage of the specials and was also pleased with the freshness of their products. Isles and shelves are clearly marked. Social distancing and Isle directions are clearly marked. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're looking for value and a pleasant experience, you'll find it there.

Very very over-priced. Which I never realized until I ventured off and started trying other places. The Market Basket in WB is within 12 minutes of this place and if $100 gets you 18 items at the Big Y.... $100 would get you 40 items at MB. It’s that much of a difference. Items that are $3 in other supermarkets are $7 there.I won’t be shopping here again anytime soon.3 stars for cleanliness and variety. Everything else is bellow a 1 star.

As every other grocery store,, they obviously don't have everything. But it's a tad frustrating when they take other things out for seasonal things. Their international isle also doesn't have a great deal, but their bakery and fresh food is great!

I love big y! I was told for years to shop here and always went more local until they changed hannafords in Easton to a Big Y! It's the only grocery store I feel comfortable shopping at. Everything is easy to find, the store is very clean, and the staff is friendly and always restocking the shelves! I truly enjoy the prepared foods too!

Great variety of bakery, produce, meat, and other goods. Local stuff is good too. It is clean and always well stocked. My big issue...prices. I regularly find things that are 50 cents to a dollar more expensive here than other grocery stores. We shop there mainly because of the convenience, but we wouldn't go out of the way for it.

The prices and selection are good, but don’t bother going here if you aren’t a middle aged man or women with kids. I’ve been treated like I’m ready to steal something anytime I use the self checkout and get followed around the store by random workers. I got the same women yelling at me to remember to pay for the bags and that I wouldn’t get the sale prices since I didn’t have a card (I do have a card btw). Just a gross experience overall. I like that they have a bulk kumbacha bottle, but honestly I might not come back here again unless my Mom can come with me. (I am 24 so honestly this is ridiculous to require) Disappointing!

While the store is clean, well-stocked, and well-staffed, it manages both lower quality and higher prices than what they replaced. The store is oddly organized, and they removed most of the wonderful produce section to put in a pizza kitchen. Many locals miss Hannaford.

Recently the Easton Store took out some full service registers and expanded their self checkout. Previously I could get in and out of the store pretty quickly. Not now. Customers were lined up 4 deep at the full service registers and the disorganization of where people are supposed to line up had the self service area blocked. It was horrible. This company advertises that it is customer and employee focused, but you eliminated jobs by expanding self checkout and you ruined the shopping experience for the customer. I don't like Market Basket, but boy do they have customer service figured out. Lots of registers, all are open with a bagger and they are super friendly.

Some of the best pizza in town but really let me down. I called Friday to as about pizza for a party on Saturday. Told me I didn’t need to put the order in u til say it wouldn’t be a problem. Call in Saturday and they said they are booked and can’t take the order for 4 pizzas. Bummer..

It's a relatively new giant grocery store. In the spectrum of what grocery stores have stocked, they are closer to the top. I like buying everything I want at the same location and overall I am pleased. Blanket statements like "too expensive" are not accurate to me. Purchasing groceries for 6 months exclusively there and comparing the total to my previous store - the margin is too small to compare. Chicken costs more than Trader Joe's, but I can't get bulk price TP from Joe's. It all evens out in my opinion, so I chose not to drive 20 miles one way for a chicken breast. Customer service? Fine so far, but we should all understand how giant stores hire a giant variety of people, your experience one day with one employee probably shouldn't affect your relationship to the magnitude of never returning. Big Y, thanks for having so much stuff, I like you!

Price has always been high but I didn't mind for convenience sake as it is the closest market to our home. Now you get rid of plastic bags without a town ban. Then try and get me to buy reusable bags that no one remembers to leave in the car for shopping days. So now I need to use the paper bags that rip while loading the car in the lot.
