The best fish in town. They have a huge amount of living lobsters and super fresh fish. All fish can be ordered in a dish and will be served as a super attractive and delicious meal. Lobster sandwich, lots of other fish burger style options, steamed mussel. Even the french fries were very good. It’s fast food. But with the high end ingredients. We were impressed. Don’t miss it.

We stopped in our visit to Cape Cod National Seashore for a quick lunch. It was really good. This place is pretty simple. They have a smallish menu of various seafood items plus there is a market where you can buy fresh seafood plus other items. There are some tables outside where you can eat. We had the shrimp platter and the fish and chips and both were really good. Good flavor without being greasy. The fries were just the right amount of crispy.

3.5 starsA seafood market/restaurant. They offer some great sandwhiches and fried seafood. Prices seem reasonable for the area compared to similar food establishments.Service was friendly but slow. There was only 1 cook. I am not sure if this is because it's the slow season or the norm, but you do wait awhile to receive your order. The cod sandwhich was very good. The fish was juicy and flakey. The blackened salmon sandwhich was pretty good. My only complaint is the filet of salmon was on the small side. It didn't even fill out the bun. They have outdoor seating and a decent amount of parking.

Plenty of outdoor seating.Food is good. Simple, easy to understand menu.Cape cod fish sandwich was crunchy. The reuben was well made (asked for the aoili on the side so it wouldn't be oily.) Delicious.Friendly service. You'll have to wait a little bit for your food to be made but as long as you're not in a rush, this is a good food stop. They also have a few options for beer and wine.

Sure is a handy place to get a bite to eat for lunch! They've got lobster rolls, tacos, crab cake & fried fish sandwiches. There is also a small selection of fresh farmers market-looking veggies. The raw seafood & fish looks super fresh & glistening. If I were going to cook, I'd definitely come here for the fresh fish. I had a fried fish sandwich- it was a small piece of fish w a reg bun & tomato+lettuce. Fish was small but tasty.Parking: Enough parking...

Oysters here were better than a formal restaurant! Love the vibe here. Extremely clean bathroom and every corner, including outdoor space. Need to force myself to save room for dessert 😂, glad it fits! Parking was so convenient, just right in front. Highly recommend!!

My wife was disappointed with the Lobster Bisque which seemed to remarkably devoid of lobster. This may be due to our own experience of it's preparation with small chunks of meat, Mac's version was pureed into a pinkish cream . I had the fish tacos which had a nice garnish but overall I felt it was a bit pricey for the portion size. The market is very clean, the fish looks wonderful and the staff is friendly. The blackboard signage is a work of art and was done by the owner's wife.

Some of the best seafood on Cape Cod! Fresh and locally sourced. Food made on site OR you can buy raw fresh seafood here as well.Wait times, however, can be horrid. Waited 40 minutes for a clam roll and lobster bisque and this wasn’t the first time I was here. Wait times tend to be consistent.

Over the last week we have eaten at Mac’s Shack, Mac’s on the Pier in Wellfleet and this afternoon we picked up fresh salmon and vegetables at Mac’s Market & Kitchen! I understand that they also have a location in Provincetown and Chatham so we will have to visit and shop there too! I was very impressed with their reasonable prices for exceptionally delicious seafood!

I love cooking monkfish because it holds together well in the pan, has a great texture, and is locally caught. The downside is dealing with the membrane. Huge thanks to the staff member who heard my comment about this, and offered to take care of it for me. I really appreciated his help, especially as it looked close to closing time and some places have a tendency to rush customers out at the end of the day. Thanks for saving me an extra 20 minutes of frustration at the kitchen sink! And the monk was delicious.

Well stocked seafood market, including locally caught/harvested fish and other seafood. You can also order sandwiches, fish tacos, and other prepared food for take away or eating outside. Really good alternative to a sit down meal at a restaurant. Everyone super friendly and helpful.

What a find this was! As we walked in, we knew we were in the right place as the locals were coming in and grabbing slabs of very fresh fish and walking out. I had the salmon sandwich, which even had the skin still in it was soooo fresh, but easy peasy to peel right off before I consumed it. Coos Coos and the best potato salad for sure! Some of the hottest and tasty fries I've had in quite some time...who knew huh? Convenient picnic tables to quickly consume and then hit the road. Still open late in the season was a huge plus. A must stop!

Little fish market and sandwhich shop on the road. Fully stocked with all the local fish and such, great selection of live lobsters.Prices about average for a fish type meal...Clean, good service, nice place.

Starting off with the positive: the lobster was steamed well, and the fries were well seasoned and crispy. The scallops (the few there were) were cooked nicely. That is unfortunately where the positive experience ended. The clam chowder was quite literally disgusting, the worst clam chowder I have ever had. Their version was a cup of milk with some diced potatoes, it was completely unseasoned and not thickened AT ALL. It was inedible. It is $35 for a scallop plate, we received 7 small to medium sized scallops. It would have been a comedically small portion had we not been so hungry. I beg that you don’t waste your money here like we did. We left still hungry after spending and exorbitant amount. Congratulations on being the worst restaurant we tried during our vacation, you earned it.

I wanted to buy swordfish and they cut it really thick sometimes I go here year round and I asked the person that was waiting on me. Why do you cut it so thick I know why because they want to sell more swordfish but it’s not what I want to order she didn’t respond. She just stood there and looked at me like where else are you going to buy swordfish tonight?

My friend and I stopped in around noon to buy some scallops and other seafood for dinner later in the day, but also wanted to grab some belly clams and a poke bowl for lunch. We were inside the market and after looking at the seafood in the case, went to the back counter to order takeout. We asked the employee behind the counter if we could order some lunch. She told us we had to go outside to the order window, which was located adjacent within 3 ft from where we were standing while talking to her. My friend said, “can’t I just tell you I want an order of whole belly clams right now, or are you telling me I have to walk back out the front of the market and walk around the side of the building to the window where we’re standing?” Note there was no one ordering food, nor was anyone outside near the order window and it was raining. She said yes, you need to go outside to tell me what you want. Wow! We thought we were in an episode of Seinfeld or Curb! So we walked outside, got in our car and went to Stop&Shop. We were going to spend close to $100 for seafood that we would cook later for dinner and a takeout lunch. Sad that common sense has evaporated right in front of us. If I was the owner, I would expect the employee to make a rational decision rather than blindly imposing their routine process. We would have said the same thing to the same person whether we were inside or outside. We still would have to come inside to buy the seafood in the case! Crazy.

I loved the fancy lunch date with my 6yo son at the counter inside on a rainy day, thank you! This was like two weeks ago at the Eastham Loc., we had just been to Willy's World nextdoor to explore and got hooked on both. 🤙🏼I didn't realize how much you (Mac's) had to offer in house to enjoy on the spot vs just being a fish/seafood market. Maybe expand your inside seating by a couple slots? BUT, I did see people eating outside w their dog under cover from the weather who all looked thrilled to have a spot.I can only recommend what I tried -6y.o. son got fish & chips, he ate until he was topped off and I finished the last of his after:I ate 98% of my fried clams order (whole bellies) that came w fries, slaw and..Plenty of access to your semi standard seafood condiments (I thought the Tabasco Sriracha was a nice bonus).IMO super fresh & clean across the board.Saw locals, saw tourists, my kid loved it and so did I. 🤙🏼

We've gotten take-out at the Eastham location several times this past week, as well as on previous trips to the Cape in past years. Theirfood is excellent...it never disappoints. Super fresh and great menu. This trip we had a lovely woman named Lashawna who happened to take our order several times when we stopped in...what an amazing employee. She is so patient...explained the specials...such a nice personality to have on staff there. Highly recommend the swordfish sandwich in particular!

Love this place! The staff is always friendly, the service is very quick and the freshness just can't be beat. I drive all the way here from Yarmouth area because I won't get my seafood anywhere else after shopping here.

Fresh seafood, usual New England fare, clams, oysters, a huge tank with lobsters of all sizes. We didn't eat at at the adjoining restaurant, instead shopped the market. A great place to pick up everything you need for a traditional Cape Cod seafood dinner. We bought "Stuffies" (stuffed clams ready to pop in the oven), lobsters, fresh oysters, Steamers, and crab cakes. We brought it home and were able to quickly put together a feast for a fraction of what it would have cost if we sat down at any of the Cape seafood restaurants.

I had the worst lobster roll ever at the Eastham location today. $32+ for 4 oz roll of diced lobster (?) meats so saturated by mayonnaise it was impossible to taste anything resembling Lobster. And shredded lettuce does not belong anywhere near a good lobster roll. I had a better lobster roll from Stop and Shop in Orleans (on sale that day, $12.99), and Cooks Seafood, Orleans ($24). Frankly, it was disappointing and disgusting and I wish I had asked for my money back.

Mac’s on Route 6 is the best of all their places, in my opinion. I would rate it a solid 5 stars but the prices have just gone through the roof, and on a recent visit when I asked for a cup of water for my kid, I was told they don’t provide water - due to some mumbled reason (and yet, they happily gave me a cup of ice for a purchased soda). If I’m paying $22 for a handful of fried clam bellies, I feel I should be able to get a cup of water.

Been here a handful of times. Had chowder most recently not that good not enough clam favor not thick clam chowder. Their fried food is either geasey and/or an unflavored coating. Arnold's is much better taste flavor and freshness. When I arrived rugs were stacked up against door of fish market before closing. Order taker was not all that friendly

New location for macs market, now has lots of lunch and dinner items. I had rueben bass sandwich, great, wife had lobster roll, very good (but lots of competition on the cape). The fresh fish looked great, very goog clam chowder , lobster bisque ok. Well worth a bit pricey menu
