in the seventies my family would get a cottage in Eastham for a vacation.. . this was long before there was a stop & shop or any grocery store so we had to bring most of our groceries with us!BUT.... the superette was the only store in town unless you wanted to go to Orleans!some of my BEST memories are getting up early with my Dad to go get his cigarettes and coffee... the superette holds those memories and it is thriving still and appears to be the center of the community in Eastham! the locals that live here are not large and number but they are kind and they put up with tourists. with very little complaint. even the outside of the superette tells you what I'm saying with all of its flyers and the benches, the liquor store is on one side and the convenience store on the other which really makes it convenient! the cashier's were so friendly and they even helped me to plan where to go for lunch!( KNACK in Orleans) I just love this quaint convenience store and I hope it keeps going another 40 years!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Worst sandwich I Hava had in a long time. No meat no veggies. Tastes like I'm eating flaverd bread. I definitely do not advise spending your hard earned money at this location all you will get is disappointment and regret that you wasted your money. I threw it away . Pathetic the pic is the meat and cheese and it's as thin as a peace of paper 😔😔☹️☹️☹️☹️😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

Definitely not like it used to be. unfortunately the new management doesn't share the business values of their predessors and it has proven this point to me more than once. So done deal for me. To be kind & diplomatic, I'll just say..... my last purchase of "Freshly ground beef" was not as advertised. That was the last strike.

The MVP of our stay in Eastham. We got there after the deli counter had closed, but thankfully they stock their most popular ready made sandwiches and salads in their refrigerated deli case. We tried the Italian sandwich and the turkey, cranberry, and stuffing sandwich. We also picked up two different pasta salads. The tortellini pasta was delicious as was everything else. We picked up our food and headed to the Wellfleet Drive in. It was perfect!

Worst employees. With the new owners, it appears there is zero standard for customer service. The employees make no eye contact with you, they do not smile, they are on their phone, they stand around chatting in their native language and make no effort to stop when you need help. I have given it two summers of a chance. I’ve been coming here since the 70’s. Owner needs to fire his friends and family members in the store and get trained help. The EMPLOYEES are ruining this store. Also, there have been racist comments by employees about customers. Not one ounce of true friendliness and genuine care in this store. It’s ruined.

Convenient stop right off the highway to grab a few things (we got hummus, cheese, grapes, crackers and wine for a light dinner). Friendly cashier and decent prices considering the convenience and location

This place has absolutely everything you could need on vacation. Staff is also super friendly. We stopped in and had sandwiches made for lunch twice. Stopped in grabbed sirloin steaks and zucchini and made dinner one night on the grill. And if you need local cape cod beer and wine they have that too.

We've stayed in Eastham MANY times over the years, and the Superette is our go-to place for groceries (and alcoholic beverages -- there's a well-stocked liquor store adjacent & connected to the Superette, entrance past the deli counter). They've got everything from newspapers to ice cream -- the only category I can think of that's not represented is fresh seafood, but even off-season there are several good seafood markets close by in Eastham, North Eastham, Orleans, and Wellfleet.We used to drive all the way down to Orleans to the big supermarket there, but haven't bothered the last few trips: the Superette has what we want, and it's got the same "neighborhood" feel that had us settle on Eastham as "our" town.

Few tips for improved customer service;- your near a beach, it’s your main revenue source, maybe have a “no shirt, no shoes, no service sign” instead of your counter staff screaming at patrons, including children.-if your deli closes at a certain time, again, signage could be a saving grace instead of what is apparently your standard of “have staff yell at customers that ‘we are closed and reopen at 9AM tomorrow’ while I ignoring a line that was forming, while actively slicing deli meats behind the counter.”Very unimpressed, the staff there needs some training, at best, on how to interact with customers while busy.

Dreary interior. They keep half the lights off when the deli section is closed. It's like walking into a dark store.The interior is beyond tired. No one has put money into this business for years. It's a shame. The place has crazy amounts of potential.

Lousy service. Bought a Blue Rhino propane tank. Got home and the valve was defective. It leaked when the regulator was attached.They would not exchange it. Stay away from this store.

Quick easy entry & service. Good meat & cheese deli plus fairly good grocery assortment to prevent that trip through summer traffic to get to Supermarket.

At one time the subs contained more meat than bread but now a flimsy amount of fillings and mostly roll, which was disappointing after so many years of amazing sandwiches. Will find another place for better subs in the future.Still good source of beer and wine and a variety of grocery items.

Don't waste your time. This place has changed and gone downhill. The sandwiches are pretty sad and insulting the last couple years. Reminds me of Subway, with 1 thin slice of meat and a ton of bread. They even skimp on the sauces/dressings. Sam's Deli is higher quality with an appropriate meat to veg/bread ratio for basically the same price.

Very convenient, great deli.2022 update: There are new owners. They have kept things just as they have been right along. We miss seeing Sarah and family, but wish them well. The new owners have been very cordial and don't seem to want to change things, which is just fine with this old local.

Wonderful store. The staff is very nice. They make great sandwishes. I would recommend calling ahead to order unless you want a premade one. It might be a little wait other wise. Like a mini market for basics, bererages, snacks, first aid things. Very nice. My favorite place to stop before heading out to the beach

Nice local spot with amazing deli. Their sandwiches are consistently delicious, at a unbeatable price. Also, great place to pick up picnic supplies for the family before heading to the playground across Highway 6 or one of the many ponds/beaches nearby.

Very dissapointing visit this past weekend. my family has been coming here for many years, getting food amd drinks before the beach. We make sure to stop here every time. last weekend, we were treated like criminals when I entered the store with no shirt on after coming from the beach. I did not see a sign, and as soon as someone mentioned (yelled at me to leave the store) I exited, only to be approached by a customer that the store associate had sent out to tell me I had to leave the property! I was baffled. the only thing I could think of is that she thought I was someone else? it was such an uncomfortable experience and I certainly won't be back.

Service is great and they work so hard to please. Small store but well thought out in terms of what they stock. they have everything. Quality fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, deli, salads delicious. I do most of my shopping instead of food markets. Its a joy to shop here.

I've been to this little grocery store a few times and love it. It's one of the reasons I like to vacation in Eastham. Grocery store has all the essentials plus they also have a wide selection of liquor, beer and wine. They also have a great deli counter with fresh meats and sandwiches - breakfast or lunch - and terrific premade sides. Love to grab lunch here and take to the beach!

Very dirty witha very musty smell. Half the shelfs wernt stocked no."fresh meat" to be found. Rude cashier and extremely over priced. Miss the old owners. Was pricy then but yoy could grt quality products in a glean store.

Outstanding local business, open year round, caters well to locals as well as tourist trade. Can pretty much gind anything you need here (and then some!), and a number of fresh, unique items not often seen in the area. Great deli, super friendly staff throughout. Prices could be a little bit higher than the big chain supermarkets in Orleans, but it' feels good to support a longstanding small business here in the community (and save a little bit of a drive!). Been coming here for years, will keep on doing so for years to come!

Good alternative to Big Box stores. Perfect for vacationers and locals alike who don't want to spend time battling crowds at Stop and Shop. This family owned store carries fresh produce and meats, fresh made pasta salads and a decent selection of canned and household goods at reasonable prices. There is also a deli, featuring Boars Head products and specialty sandwiches made to order. The attached liquor store carries a nice selection of spirits. Its a one-stop shopping experience. Highly recommend

Their sandwiches are some of the best! We always stop here for lunch on the way up to Marconi. You can get them ready made or pre-packaged that day for the road. Either way they're great!
