Great experience! My husband and I came here for dinner and "lunch" and experience the best of both. At night, all the lights create a super romantic atmosphere and the food was great - I got the catch of the day. From 3:30 to 5 pm they have a special menu - Cocktails with Caro!Oysters and littlenecks are $1, you can get cocktail shrimp for $0.75 and two tacos for $5.

Wow super disappointing experience with the service. We ordered our dinner and the main meal came 5 minutes later but the appetizers didn't come until after the mains and were not what we ordered. No apologies and the waitress acted like nothing happened. We were prepared to spend double but feeling rushed just ruined the experience. The food wasn't bad, but it felt like being in McDonald's since we were out the door 30 minutes later. I should have just ordered take out at the fabulous Friendly Fisherman next door.

For a fast immersion into the Cape Cod vibe visit Caroline's 3:30-5:30PM for "buck a shuck" and on Mondays and Thursdays they feature Sarah Burrill's talented guitar playing and singing songs you'll know and leave you feeling beach ready.I had 6 tasty raw oysters, my friends had the shrimp tacos that were awesome, and the tuna tartare that was amazing. The photo shows one of the tacos missing because she ate it before I had the camera out!The fun doesn't stop there, two of us ordered the Margarita bucket(?) with three different flavors to drink! Nice.

Unfortunately, tonight we had the most underwhelming and sad meal of the many years we have been coming to the cape. The atmosphere and music were lovely and the waitstaff were all kind; it was the food that fell short. The Tofu Noodle dish was unbearably salty. The noodles were sitting in a lukewarm broth that tasted more like a brine or marinade by how salty it was than a sauce. Ordered a salad with lobster and it was the most overcooked, dry lobster we have had at a sit-down restaurant. Fish and chips were grotesquely overcooked and bone-dry. Fries were standard, and the bread was also decent. The peach gaspacho tasted akin to a peach salsa— Not anywhere near the correct balance of a gaspacho, and was way too salty. The microgreens such as cress/sorrell were nice touches, and the genovese basil added relief from the salinity at points throughout the meal, but did not save the experience. We may try again next year, but will be hesitant to order anything the kitchen could oversalt or overcook.

I highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I got takeout during the first weekend they were open and it was Mother’s Day. The order was ready in 20 minutes exactly as promised. My husband had the ribeye and I had the pistachio crusted halibut. Both our meals were excellent. Both were cooked perfectly. The seasoning on both dishes were point on. The ribeye was very tender. We were staying five minutes away from the restaurant and the food was still hot by the time we got home.Parking: There was ample parking.

This place is a nice little gem that we found based on a referral from the information center. While on vacation my wife and I were glad we stopped here. The staff was welcoming, courteous and nice. The owner made sure that we were taken care of and the food was delicious. I felt that the clams that we had were the freshest on the Cape.. Very comfortable space and we were quite happy to sit in the bar area with the large doors open. I definitely recommend stopping here you will not be disappointed

We came off the bike trail sweaty and hungry. Caroline greeted us at the door with two ice cold bottles of water and offered us a spot to park our bikes. We were lucky to arrive in time for happy hour. And what a happy hour it is! Live music, buck a shuck oysters & little necks along shrimp tacos (2 for $5)and $14 flights of margaritas. The chef even made me tacos with tofu ( vegetarian). The food was delicious but really the most special part was the hospitality.Hope they don’t get sick of us cuz we plan on going back….ALOT.

This is the best fish sandwich I have ever eaten! This is the Crisp Fishwich and maybe the best fish sandwich you will ever try too. My family ordered three Crisp fishwich and the tuna burrito, unfortunately, didn’t get a picture of that one, and we all agreed it was the best fish sandwich we have ever had. Each sandwich was served with a very large piece of perfectly crisp and fried fish. It was not greasy at all! It was served with a brioche bun with a hearty slice of tomato and a crispy piece of lettuce. My daughter had the tuna burrito and it was so big she could only eat half. The tuna was seared to a perfect medium and delicious. The portions were generous and quite filling. We also saw other entrées come out of the kitchen, and each looked equally generous, nicely presented, and they all look very tasty. We were also extremely pleased with the service from the hostess to our server, Heather! Ask for Heather, when you come. They accommodated our two pups, and gave them a bowl of water, which to me is next level of service.

We drove past CarolIne’s tonight and were lucky enough to decide to stop in for dinner at a time when the delightful hostess could find us the perfect dining spot outside. The atmosphere was warm and inviting; our waitress was charming and thoughtful; the tables were filled with happy, smiling people; and our food was fantastic. The warm rolls arrived quickly enveloping us in their fresh baked aroma. The chowder was delicious, rich but not too dense and well-balanced with clams, potatoes and seasoning. The house salad included ripe tomatoes, possibly pickled red onions, and cucumbers in just the perfect vinaigrette combination. And the Portuguese stew was spectacular - mussels, clams, fish and lobster swimming in a delicate herbed and lightly spicy tomato broth (photo is of half a portion). My husband and I split all of these and couldn’t finish everything but left feeling so very full and happy.

I really can not say enough positive things about this restaurant. Our experience was genuinely perfect! The food was absolutely delicious, I tried all 6 of our groups meals and they all blew my mind. The owner, Caroline, was very warm and welcoming and our waitress was on point with flawless service. The atmosphere was clean, beautiful and relaxing. If you are in the area please trust me and EAT HERE.

This is a great spot with amazing vibes. We came with our bikes and sat outside. Service was welcoming and fast once they took our orders. Amazing food and drink specials.

NE Clam chowder was par, $25 fish tacos were terrible (halibut was over cooked, there was way too much taco sauce on them and way too vinegary, the slaw was tasteless, and the corn tortillas were soggy) breading on the fried scallops tasted like they had been sitting in oil for an hour. I left before my husband paid the bill because I would have caused a scene for how much they charged for all this. Gave it two stars because at least the the kids liked their kids meals and the dessert looked good from the picture my son sent me while I sat in the car.

Just... wow! The food is not only good, it's noteworthy. Wellfleet oysters speak for themselves (best in the world) but the tuna tartar was so fresh you could still taste the ocean. The pistachio encrusted halibut was magnifique. The crab cake was exceptionally light and flavorful. Buttered Lobster Roll... don't EVEN get me started! Andy provided friendly conversation and right-on-top-of-it service at the bar, and Caroline was a charming host. So far we've only eaten here twice on our week long vacation... but it's only Tuesday! Highest recommendation! Chris and Michelle.

I’ve been vacationing on the Cape for years, and went to Caroline’s last night for the first time. All I can say is WOW. This place left us raving the whole night about the food, the drinks, the service, the ambience, everything!! I can confidently say I’ve found a new favorite restaurant in the area. If you’re looking for a great dining experience, check this place out. Compliments to Caroline, her husband, and staff. It’s clear they’re passionate about their restaurant and their customers.

Dinner for two at Caroline's. My wife enjoyed her cocktail - blackberry basil gin mash - the bartender did a great job. I had a pilsner beer (22oz..expensive mistake as 12oz beer is $9) -- the beer was flat. My spouse had a lobster roll ($32) she described as blah and not worth the calories. I had the fried Calamari (a $16 app/stater on the menu) that is listed as having banana peppers, tomatoes, basil and garlic. It was a dish of heavily breaded greasy calamari with little flavor and invisible peppers, tomatoes, basil and garlic. I have had some poorly prepared calamari on and off the Cape - this ranks as one of the worst. Caroline is a nice person and I wish her well. The dinner was $103.00 with tax and tip. I took off one star for the beer, one for the lobster roll and ONLY one for the calamari -- which is generous. My lowest standard that a restaurant needs to meet is: would I eat there for free? Sorry to say - NO.

Was overall wonderful! Had a little snafu but was quickly resolved. The owners are very attentive and really care about the performance and quality of food and guest relationships. I felt it 💯% and for that if I lived here would be a patron. Thank you. Also clam chowder rocked food is solid.

Casual dining, delicious food, fresh fish and great service. Owner greets everyone with a smile. Good prices too. Decided to have a cocktail after dinner. I recommend Caroline's next time you're in the cape!

We had a really good dinner here our first night on the cape. Definitely recommend the Shrimp Cocktail & the Fish and Chips. Definitely go there for the fish. For non-fish options one of us had the burger and it was okay, but that’s obviously not their specialty. Service was pretty decent but they were very busy at the time. This is one of the few places we tried that I would actually come back to.

We were on the Cape for a busy nine days and these were by far our best two meals. It is an upscale traditional New England seafood restaurant owned by well-trained owners. The seafood was just excellent, but we also got the same simple "Caro's House Salad" two days in a row. Our only mistake was not going there three days in a row. We had the Caro's salad, the ceviche, Wellfleet oysters, steamers, bowl of chowder, tuna tartare, and an incredible strawberry shortcake. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We really did come across it while listening to James Taylor's "Carolina In My Mind". So often good restaurants are some variation of Sysco's frozen food out of a bag. If you enjoy traditional New England seafood you will love Caroline's Bar and Grill. We are borderline food snobs from New Orleans too.

We got the gazpacho of the day, which was basically dessert because it was "peach". And I got the grilled lobster on caesar and it was completely overcooked. Clearly cooked cut in half because it was BLACK. It was also served without something to break the lobster apart with and was impossible to do because of how dry it was. I ended up with maybe 3oz of meat for $16. A salad should come with precut lobster meat, not a task to set up my own salad.

New spot in Eastham is exactly what the area needed. A beautiful bar with a modern vibe with that quintessential Cape feel. Open air dining, great staff and a menu that's both familiar and refreshing.Definitely try the warm lobster roll, fish sandwich and fish and chips. Homemade key lime pie will absolutely surprise you in all the right ways.

We discovered a gem of a restaurant in Eastham. Caroline’s Bar and Grill. Opened May ‘21. Food was tops and we started off with fresh oysters and clams…delish! Next, we moved onto tuna tartare, gazpacho, a kale and mint salad and pistachio encrusted halibut- all items were spectacular! Also, Caroline (owner) creates a warm and inviting atmosphere and is highly engaged with her customers. We wish this restaurant would stay open all year long!

Our first time visiting this restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, quick service, and delicious food. My sister, and I had the Lobster Fettuccini, which was wonderful and plentiful enough to bring home leftovers. The others in our party were also very impressed. They enjoyed the following: Tuna Tartare, the Halibut dinner, and the Halibut Tacos. We will definitely return.

We enjoyed a stellar lunch with their Tuna Burrito and a Margarita Flight. Both were indescribably delicious. Friendly staff and good music. Inside bistro opens onto an outside patio with umbrellas, pyramid fire towers and clean inviting tables. Heading south rather than attempt the "infamous left" we made a quick right into Ben & Jerrys parking lot next door and caught the light at the intersection. Definitely worth a stop!
