Brought my dog in here warning them that she is small but mighty when her paws get touched. I thought for sure we would be leaving with her nails uncut like everywhere else we’ve been for the past 6 years of her life. I left amazed that they were actually able to do it. I apologize for her behavior and I’m sorry to say that we will be back for another nail clipping when it’s time! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Amazing. Period. I started taking my dog here for grooming after the place she was going to for YEARS gave her 2 infections in a 6 month span. All the staff are caring compassionate people. I see Kim every 6 weeks and my dog looks great and is happy each and every visit.

First day dropping off your fur baby can be a little emotional, but when you’re boarding them at Porter Rd. Pet Care you can leave with a peace of mind that your babies will be well taken care of. Staff at Porter Rd love on your pets as if their own. When it’s time to pick them up, they will be so happy to see you and show signs that they were well taken care of. They may whine a little as they say good bye to all the other fur friends they’ve met.They will arrive home to rest as they had so much to do at Porter Rd while you were away.Highly Recommended

I have been taking Oliver, my 3-year-old Labrador mixed dog- to Porter Road since December 2021. It is the only place in West Mass. I feel comfortable leaving him when I need to travel. He has stayed there for different lengths (one month, three weeks, two weeks, or even a weekend). Their service and personnel are excellent and welcoming. The first time I paid for the webcam service. Since then, I know they will treat them well and I only use the picture text offer if it is for more than three weeks (only because I want to see my dog!). The grooming Service is always superb—no other place like Porter. Also, it is convenient when traveling out of Bradley since it is on my way to the airport. I leave an hour away.

My pets always love going here.We have been boarding our dogs here for a long time. They are never afraid when we pull into their driveway. I feel they do an excellent job taking care of animals and I never worry about them when we drop them off. I can't imagine taking them anywhere else.Make sure you check out the web cam service they now have. If you ever wonder what your pet is doing you can just check it out. The cool beds are a great option too. We noticed our dog, Bo loved it for sleeping on.My wife and I are big fans of Porter Road Pet Care.

I tried everything to cut my dogs nails. Even the peanut butter on my forehead. His nails are black and his nails were so hard they broke my clippers. I contacted groomer in the area no one had openings and clipping nails were an add on. On Groupon I found an add for nail clipping for $6.00 and I didn’t have to have him groomed. Everything was straight forward and we were in and out. I will go back .

This is where Charlie Hustle goes every time I'm away for a weekend or longer. He is always excited when he gets there, his tail wagging so hard it bangs into the office desk. Without fail he comes home happy, and with trimmed nails, a thorough brushing, and smelling of shampoo. Having a place where you know your pet will be well cared for is a relief to any pet owner who travels, and I'm glad that I know Porter Road Pet Care is the place for Chuck Hustle.I find their prices very reasonable, I usually drop him off on a Friday and pick him up on a Monday, and it runs ~$150-$170 as I tend to pony up for some of the many extras they offer such as additional play sessions (one v one with staff or with other dogs), extra treats, and even webcam time so you can check in with your pup while you're away.e: I just wanted to update this as of August 2021 to say that Chuck still loves the place and that their prices remain good. I signed up for a few extra exercise sessions in this past weekend's stay had, but since Charlie had been groomed the month before I skipped the bath/nail trim. Friday morning to Monday morning ran under $100. I also was told I had three free days of boarding saved up. I didn't know there was a customer loyalty/rewards program, but it's good to know!

We are truly so thankful we came across this boarding facility. We have a challenging German Shepherd and all of the staff are so understanding & take the time to move slow and accommodate our boy. We are so trusting when boarding Kane here! The facility is clean, they have a huge outdoor area, and the staff are wonderful!

I was SO HAPPY today to get my new puppy in for grooming the same day I called!! Another groomer in town "forgot" about our appointment yesterday and I was so disappointed. These folks were just so easy to deal with! Friendly, accomodating, reasonably priced...couldn't be better. And my puppy looks SO DARN CUTE!!!

We have been very happy with the care provided by Porter Road Pet Care for our dog, Frankie, and Frankie likes going! Frankie really enjoyed his Christmas dinner and Tiffany reading "The Night Before Christmas" to him! And, he came home with his own stocking!!! Now we are in 2019, a new year, and Frankie continues enjoying going to his second home, his "spa"! We enjoy the fact that so many people at Porter Road look out for Frankie's well-being! Thank you all for Frankie's continuing care! As we approach the end of spring, 2019, we continue to be very happy with the care Frankie receives from his "second family"!!! The entire staff is wonderful...very caring and friendly! It is now almost September and Frankie is still having fun at Porter Road. On our last visit we enjoyed watching the goats together! Frankie enjoyed his 2nd Christmas at Porter Road Pet care at the end of 2019! Note the photo of him eating his Christmas dinner!!! Frankie turned 15 on February 15th and loves each and every stay at Porter Road Pet Care! We are also happy that the owners and staff at Porter Road can see to any special needs that Frankie might have! Frankie enjoyed once again his last stay at Porter Road. It is now the end of June, 2020, and we are in the middle of the Covid pandemic. Frankie was well taken care of...the staff is so friendly and sees to Frankie's needs with smiles...he is not only our boy but also their's! Thank you Porter Road!

Porter Road Pet Care is the best place to bring your dogs, cats, and any other animal! As soon as you walk in the door the staff greets you and is so excited to see your pet. I am able to bring my own bed and also my dogs own food so they don’t get an upset stomach. They have plenty of space in their enclosure and have access to the outdoors. I love that they each have their own outdoor space. The place is very clean and they make sure they are always provided with water. I would recommend this place to anyone. Whenever my dogs get bath they always come out squeaky clean and smelling good. I also love the web cam access so I can always see what my dogs are up to. Thank you Porter Road for caring and loving for my dogs!

I ALWAYS SLEEP WELL WHILE AWAY KNOWING MY DOG IS BEING CARED FOR BY PORTER RD!I HAVE BEEN USING PORTER RD FOR MANY YEARS WITH MANY DIFFERENT DOGS I HAVE ADOPTED. MY DOGS ARE ALWAYS HAPPY TO GO NEVER ACT OUT WHEN LEAVING THEM ONCE WHEN I COULD NOT GET IN AT PORTER RD MY DOG DID NOT WANT TO STAY AT ANOTHER PLACE PORTER RD GOT A VACANCY AND MY DOG LET A STRANGER PICK HER UP AND BRING HER TO PORTER RD GOT RIGHT OUT AND WENT RIGHT IN THE PERSON THAT PICK UP THE DOG FOR ME AND BRING HER TO PORTER RD COMMENT ON THE HOW WELL THE DOG BEHAVED AND HOW SHE WENT RIGHT IN. We will be back again before December is over.......Bentley got his first haircut at Porter Road Pet Care today. He was met by the groomer when we got there and spent about 2 hours and fifteen minutes getting all cleaned up. He came out with his groomer and was as happy as a dog could be. From his looks, he had a great time. He looks great. The experience was great for me as well and he is already booked for his next grooming service.The workers from those at the desk to those working behind the scenes were polite and wonderful to meet. Bentley showed that he was well taken care of during his short stay today and will be looking forward to going back for his next grooming service.Bentley had another grooming appointment today and enjoyed himself. We love Porter Road! I started my puppy here when I switched jobs and unexpectedly had to be out of the house for much longer than I had originally planned. I didn't know what to expect, but I realized how much my dog loved it when she would run up the steps when we got there in the morning - and then refuse to leave when I went to pick her up at the end of the day! The staff is super accommodating. You can tell they care about the dogs and will go out of their way to make sure your dog is happy and cared for. My puppy was the "feisty one" of her litter, and the only sitter I tried for her before Porter Road didn't go so well (I was told she has too much energy, is stubborn, etc) but Porter Road knows how to handle her! Very thankful for this place! Honestly she did get kennel cough from here once, but my vet said it will happen at any daycare, just like a child in school. They keep the kennels very clean, but there is still risk when interacting with other dogs. Once she recovered and I got the okay from the vet, I sent her right back! She absolutely loves it.
