With very little regard for its customers, the Whole Foods store in Andover, Massachusetts, got rid of the small area where people could sit and grab a quick bite (first photo on left) and instead replaced it with a tall table pushed against the window and in a direct way of heavy traffic of shoppers pushing their carts to the 2 exit doors (photo on right)The new sitting area is positioned right in between 2 large exit doors, which is extremely cold and drafty. After speaking to some of the staff that attend to the hot & cold bars about the mediocre quality and quantity of options, we were told, “Our bars are not big sellers.” We replied, “Don’t you think your indifference & lack of care has something to do with it?”Clearly this particular Whole Foods doesn’t respect & value its customers judging by the new sitting arrangement and the very poor upkeep of its hot & cold bars. Whole Foods in Andover doesn’t just take your Whole paycheck, they also serve Whole containers of disrespect.

Ordered cupcakes for my son's birthday a week before. Specifically asked for white frosting with sprinkles. Got pink frosting without sprinkles on all of them. My kid hates pink. Thanks a lot! Never again ordering anything there!

Catering review: The food was not worth the price at all and would not have fed 8 people. The ham was marked $45 which means I was charged $125 for Mac and cheese for 4, green bean casserole for 4 and mashed potatoes for 4 and some glaze. The green beans were in a layer of water and looked mushy in the packaging and the fruit platter (when we opened it to eat it) had worms on it.I called to return the food (on the same day after I checked it when I got home) with the online number and was told I had to drive back to Andover (am not in the area). When I called Andover they said I could return it to any Whole Foods. I then drove to a different Whole Foods (Cambridge Street) and after 2 store members could not figure it out they got the manager Kenny. While examining the food he said "I make my own food" in my response to my statement that this would not feed 8 people and I had no idea how it all cost $170.After some research he said I had to drive it back to Andover for a refund because they do not have it in the system. After another call to the catering number I was told I would receive a refund vie email and since that has not happened I now have to spend another day driving this food back to Andover. In the end, I ended up buying an entire new order of food from the store directly on 12/23 because the catering was an absolute disaster. Luckily the store in Boston was well stocked and I bought food to make and still have the catering order sitting in my trunk for return...

We are regulars at Wholefoods Andover MA, but were very disappointed with our recent honey purchase. The “local” label sets two expectations: (1) that the product is locally produced and (2) that the product did not travel long distances to get here. This product may have met the first expectation (but with my shaken confidence I can’t be certain) but since the label claims in small print that it was “packed in Colorado”, it certainly doesn’t meet the second. Tsk tsk Wholefoods.

Pricey, but definitely had including and far beyond what I was looking for in my visit. I liked how some product displays and coolers had labels to give you some general information on them in case you’re less familiar with their more unique offerings. It gave a sense of informed confidence on certain choices.

I was there this week. It is still expensive. Almost no visible benefits from having been bought by Amazon.Customer service is sporadic. It would be my last choice to go shopping there..It feels that the aisles are more crammped.I was there today and nothing has changed. Only two samples. The signs for 10% are huge, but number of items that this discount applies are indeed few as evident by my pictures. The place is good for a walk on a cold evening.I do not recommend it. It is overrated.

What can you say about Whole Foods? It's Whole Foods! I do love that this Whole Foods has a self-service Amazon Hub dropoff. No more standing in line at Kohl's or random trips to UPS. Simply bring your item, drop it in a self seal bag, scan your QR return code to get a return sticker, slap that printed label on, drop it in the box, and viola! Returned!

Jenny went above and beyond for the floral arrangements we needed! We are greatly appreciative of the detail & care she put into her work. The florals we ordered looked wonderful and received many compliments at the party.

Whole Foods is a shopping experience. My brother called me, and I had to kick him off of the phone because he was interrupting me,, 😆 I love my big brother and Whole Foods too.

The workers are so rude and not helpful. You ask anyone for help and they're like idk may this area you ask customers service for help and Asian lady is in front of a literal computer and she can look it up in her system shes like go ask some around groceries. The people in cheese sections where just talk amongst themselves and had no idea what was there or a way to direct me. I was literally up the street at the stop and shop people who get paid less are willing to go out of the way to help. This is the worst whole foods I've been to they don't have a great selection. I lived in Florida where they have many whole foods and they at least help and are polite and they have a wine bar and a lot better of selection will not be going back to this place. I only gave them two stars because it was clean and organized like all the whole foods should be

Been shopping here for 3 years, nice staff and clean. But do not go late night, you risk not finding some items, bananas, strawberry, some other items were missing. I guess that's the case for other groceries stores anyways.

Buying from this location means you will spend $10 on a bag of organic apples, bring them home, and open the bag just to find that half of them are rotten with goo on the ones that havent rotten yet. You will buy organic strawberries and blueberries for $8-$10, just to find them growing mold the very next day. Blackened, slimy kale within 2 days. Spend a little extra on gas going to lynnfield or westford, because it will save you money on the amount of organic food you buy from the Andover location, and have to throw away because it is sold rotten or close enough that it will rot before you get a chance to eat it.

Couple of lumps on the head for the Andover store.I can’t eat raw tomato. Love their Thanksgiving turkey sandwich, which has cranberry sauce and NO tomato. Was in the store last Tuesday, 20 miles away, and when I got home settled down to enjoy my sandwich. Which promptly went into the trash. No cranberry dressing and 4 slices of tomato lurking under the bread. A real disappointment for a $9 sandwich! Also purchased a stuffed pork chop, at Butcher Boy in N Andover, it’s an actual thick pork chop, split almost completely down the middle and filled with stuffing. at Whole Foods, it’s a very different story. Instead of a chop, it appears to be a rolled strip of pork loin sandwiched with dressing and the entire outside covered with a thick strip of fat…tied with a string to hold it together. I weighed the meat after cooking, and the inedible fat portion weighed the same as the loin strip. Very disappointing.

Never used Amazon or knew how to return item ask the lady at the customer service desk she said machine is out the door go figure it out. I said I dont have Amazon and never returned anything can you help me and got same rude answer machine is out there go figure it out. I'll never return to whole food for anything at all again. I go to Whole foods when I need to buy flowers for an open house or for a client. They have a great selection especially at the Lynnfield location. They have a florist in hand that can put together beautiful bouquets 💐

I had a such amazing unforgettable memory at this place. I could get my lost cellphone back in about 40 mins. I used the restroom and letf my phone there, but I could find my cellphone with amazing help from Andover residents & Whole foods market staff. Much much appreciate your help and thank you for your kindness and honesty. I’ll never forget this fantastic experience. Oh, the food and everything in the market were really great, too!

Staff Marshall displays signs of sociopathic behavior “little to no conscience, lack empathy, and self-centered”. On Tuesday May 30th, around 10:08 am, I went to return something from amazon. When I asked him, he pointed me to the self service which I tried to use, but was unsuccessful at getting the QR code scanned because the scanner is placed under a hot air vent return: if you are already feeling dehydrated, it can make you feel a lot worse and it was a hot day. I went back and told this employee that I was unsuccessful at scanning it with the machine and felt like I was going to pass out, that I have a health condition. He told me he’d help me but instead of scanning my print out, and taking my already packaged return, he kept untangling his tape, as if I wasn’t even there. Mind you, he didn’t need tape for my package, and he had his hand scanner right next to him the whole time. After a while, I insisted I have a legitimate health issue and could faint, while showing him my handicap ID. He said he’d help me but kept patiently untangling the tape some more. Finally, I told him I at least needed a chair while I waited or I was going to pass out. He told me to go sit in the eating area on the opposite side of the store. I let him know that I could not make it that far. In the end, he went and got me a chair, then kept untangling his tape. He did offer me some water but only at the end, right before he finished untangling his tape. The scan didn’t even take 2 seconds, he could have done it long before without keeping me there waiting when I wasn’t feeling right. And I was the only customer he had. He shouldn’t get to interact with people. Usually, all the staff are friendly and have a normal sense of empathy towards others. I’ve been going to this store practically since it opened and never any issues. It’s ok that he is like this, you can’t make someone grow a conscience and he has to co-exist with us, work and be productive. It’s nice that wholefoods hired him, however, I don’t think he should be interacting with clients. Maybe stocking outback would be a better fit.

-1 star because the place is expensive and anxiety inducing.Aside from that though I love their selection of goods. You don't know love until you have had their raspberry mouse cake, which I question will ever come back...

A lot of different varieties of organic foods. I wish they would have more local organic products. Helpful cashiers and fast moving lines.

If you use your Amazon prime card, the prime icon does not always show up on the transaction. Multiple times for me multiple times for others. I believe if this problem were important to the store management, it would be resolved quickly. Very disappointing.

Love this Whole Foods. Small, yet has everything you possibly need. Everyone complains about prices, however, I can always count on their produce not rotting on me after 2 days. Shopping on the outside definitely keeps the grocery bill down and if the produce doesn’t rot I look at it that costs outweigh benefits of shopping elsewhereWent recently on Easter morning and the guy in produce happily looked in the back and found some chives for me. Wish I had his name to give him a shout out.Love this store.

It's obvious that serving burnt food (bacon) or undercooked food (sausage) is ok for this store This is the worst whole foods I've ever been to. Complaints to "managers" fall on deaf ears, your issue will never be addressed, you will be told to just take it because that's what out right now. I explained to Ellen that the bacon was burnt, her response "we will put more out when that tray is done", done when? No one eats burnt food. This whole foods does not appreciate it's customers nor do they care about wasting pounds of food per day. I will never shop at this location and I will be contacting the regional manager.

All out of Whole Foods unsalted butter? Really?! I asked an employee if there was more in the stock room. He never returned. So, I went to Stop and Shop to finish purchasing items on my grocery list. ( I am not interested in buying organic butter at a 60% increase over non organic butter).

I waited at the deli counter for 10 minutes...3 or 4 employees working noticed me but never made contact or asked if they could help me. It was an example of the much discussed "labor shortage " at its finest but really just very poor training. I really don't mind waiting if it's a busy time but at least acknowledge the customer. Do Better Whole Foods!

Order through Amazon and have always got my food 📦 packaged great and brought right to my 🚗 car. The food and substitutions were great. Every single employee I have met or dealt with has been amazing 👏 thank you whole foods for making one thing a little easier in a busy moms life. ❤️
