Andover Animal Hospital is place to come for all services when it comes to your family pets. Since the day we have stepped into their place of business for help with our pets they have been amazing.We lost our dear Nino year ago they where so kind & helpful through all stages. Dr. Carnevale was so kind & helpful making sure she explained everything to us and options. She went over and beyond to help us she knew Nino meant everything to us.Sadly we lost him cancer at nobody fault. He in better place .We got puppy 2023 of September golden retriever all our appts with her and your staff are always been great. The drive is well worth it for great care you receive . I am very thankful for great service with staff very kind. Even my bird comes in for services he gets his maintenance done every few months. My Golden needs to be neutered and having issues with his shoulder.Dr Carnevale & Kennedy where so helpful they again took time to explain all options & treatments plan for him. I was being pulled in 2 different directions but Kennedy took the time over the phone to explain options for him. I appreciate the time they both took it been lot going on with him. They made is surgery pain free and he was in great spirits. They even called first thing Am to see how he was. All staff and doctors are amazing .I highly recommend this practice to everyone. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here.We bring our dogs and our cats here. The personal level of care shown by the doctors (as well as the assistants/techs) is unparalleled in the eastern Massachusetts area.They are upfront about costs, they do not push unnecessary treatments or procedures, and they are very obviously motivated by the care of animals and not profiteering.They’ve always shown appropriate levels of concern for any issues that we’ve had, and have always shown the utmost in care when handling our pets. They have never been judging or condescending.I’m always relieved when I’m leaving Andover animal Hospital, because I know that my pets have received the best in care by attentive and passionate animal specialists.

I been taking my first pup there since before covid and now that I have a second pup she goes up there too.Everyone is always pleasant, and answer all my questions. We see Dr Faso , she is awesome, both of my girls love her, and she is always one call away if I need anything.When you find a place you love &your pup loves it too it worth driving a hour.I always recommend Dr Faso to everyone.

I've been bringing my fur babies to Andover Animal Hospital for over 25 years. The veterinarians and technical staff are warm, compassionate and caring and the hospital is open every day for appointments. I've experienced them for wellness exams, vaccinations, urgent care, surgeries, and x-rays for my pets. I would highly recommend AAH for the best pet care in the area!

The staff is very kind and caring. Dr. Lincoln takes good care of my Guinea pig Ellie. Works hard to find solutions to her problems. Atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Front staff always greets you immediately with a smile. We are happy with the care given to our Guinea pigs Ellie and Ernie.

Thank you to Dr Carnavale and staff. The front desk staff are professional and helpful. The Vet Techs are knowledgeable and are always willing to assist with one of my more “misunderstood”dogs. Dr Carnavale is the best! She takes time to listen to our concerns with our older Pug. She is available and truly cares about her patients. She is an asset to her profession.

Me and my family are so appreciative for the experience that we had at this animal hospital and were so grateful to have Dr. Keramaty during the difficult time with our dog. Sadly we had to put our dog down due to health complications and they made the experience very comfortable for our dog and us. The staff were so kind as well. Thank you again!

Moved to the area over the summer and this place is amazing! My dog was very well taken care of during her surgery and follow up appointments! They were also very quick to schedule us for surgery. The staff is so friendly they pick up right away when you call. Everyone is so nice and truly cares about your pet. They also have a great text messaging system where you can send photos and a vet will look at them to decide if your pet needs to be seen it not.

I switched my three dogs over to Andover Animal Hospital from Peabody. The transition was easy because the staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They had me setup everything up in advance online. I also provided all the records they needed ahead of my appointment.The outside of the hospital has a large area for the dogs to relieve themselves with a clean up station. Once I went inside I was assisted right away, and we were completely taken care of for everything in about 45 minutes for two of my three dogs. All the staff members were awesome. So far so good, and to add their operating hours are superior compared to other vets on the North Shore.

Finding a certified avian specialist for a feathered friends can be exhausting; happy to say ive found my go-to spot here though~ everyone was so kind, the tech and vet were very patient and friendly. And the cherry on top for me was the follow up call I got 2 days later on a Sunday no less where they wanted to make sure she settled back in after her prior visit~

I brought my 10-year-old domestic shorthair cat Matteo to his first physical at Andover Animal Hospital today. He saw Dr. Hamilton Lincoln, VMD as his vet and his technician was Alex. They took such great care of him, and he seemed a lot more comfortable with them and their handling of him than I had seen him with our previous vet. I was told he could use a dental cleaning in the next year, and although it's money I'm kind of excited for it because it makes me happy to know that there are people who will take such good care of him. Thank you Dr. Lincoln and Alex for all your incredible care today. I look forward to working with you guys again.

We absolutely love the Andover Animal Hospital. Everyone from the front desk team, vet techs, and vets (we have seen all of them in the practice over the last 3 years) we've interacted with is always friendly, kind, and professional. We really appreciate that they always follow through with what they say they'll do and call or email us after appointments with test results, bloodwork, post-op updates, follow up plans, etc. One of the primary reasons we left our last vet office was because of the difficulty getting in touch with the office and never hearing back from them ever.Even though they're always busy, we've never had a problem being able to schedule same day/urgent care visits anytime our dogs have needed it. Most recently a few days ago on Easter, one of our dogs had an emergency that required him to get x-rays. The team at the Andover Animal Hospital told us to bring him in and they would try to squeeze him in for x-ray and and consultation between appointments. Dr. Autieri called back with results and a plan within an hour - we are absolutely blown away by the level of service they offer (even on a major holiday!)We trust the team at the Andover Animal Hospital completely, 100/10 recommend!

We moved and needed a new vet. Close by our home was Andover Animal Hospital. From initial phone call to check out everything and everyone were great.The reception desk is well run and warm, efficient staff keep the waiting room organized and moving. The techs were amazing- warm, friendly, kind.The vet (shout out to Dr Lincoln) was engaging and pleasant.We feel comfortable bringing our three schipperke dogs to their new vet.

I can't say enough about this facility. The few times I've been there, the front-end staff was so welcoming, respectful, and very polite. The first time I went to this facility, I saw Dr. Jasmin Keramaty. She was very pleasant, spot-on, and was very informative to any questions I had. I loved the fact that she too is a bulldog owner.I recently saw Dr. Cheryl Faso who I absolutely loved (June 2021). She has a great personality, she was like Dr. Doolittle LOL. My dog responded to her and he was very calm surprisingly. He doesn't like to be held down but she was so gentle, he didn't move and got all his shots like a champ!Thanks so much for all the hard work you all do for our animals <3

My family adopted a new lil guy the day before Thanksgiving and we named him Butternut. He was a rescue from the Mississippi flood zone and was sent to Nevins MSPCA Adoption Ctr in Methuen. From first laying eyes on him, I knew he was the one that was sent to us to join our family. He had his first wellness visit and got to meet and greet the team at Andover Animal Hospital about a week ago and he is a healthy little boy. We cant say enough enough about the wonderful staff at Andover. We have had all of our past fur babies (who have since crossed Rainbow Bridge after very long lives) cared for by the team at Andover and we are so grateful to bring our new lil guy into their care. The compassion and dedication this entire staff gives to its patients and us owners is always above and beyond. We feel confident that there is no other place we would want to have care for our babies! Thank you for always doing what you do best.. we look forward to a long life of care and love for our Butternut who is still just a kitty!

He's my baby, and I've always taken him to Andover Animal Hospital. They're friendly, they listen and truly care. There's nothing I wouldn't do for my Pumpkin.

My pets have been seen by Andover Animal Hospital for close to 50 years, beginning with the beloved Dr Lindsay. He set the bar high for future generations and boy everyone at the hospital has met those high standards. Whether my appointments are with a tech or with a Doctor, my pets and I have been treated with the utmost professionalism and care that anyone could ask for. The staff also has always been professional and courteous, which sometimes I imagine is difficult with an array of animals at the front desk, all waiting to be seen.I would not even think about taking my pets to any other Veterinary Hospital.

After a bad experience with another vet I brought my cat Ali here. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Ali needed her shots and a couple of days later I received a call asking how she was doing. Andover Animal Hospital is the only vet that I will be using.Thank you again for such wonderful care!

I love both of the avian vets here. They are great for scheduling appointments and reviewing emergency issues if they do not have availability. Both doctors are extremely knowledgeable with extensive experience treating avian and handle the birds well with minimal stress to the animal.Reasonably priced for the initial visit as well as testing.The check in area does get pretty busy- I wish they would split it up based on animal type because people with dogs have jumped on my animals cage several times.Plenty of parking.Cell signal is extremely poor but this hasn’t been an issue since they allow desk checkin again.

This is practically a concierge vet (like concierge human doctors, where you can text them and they’re always in your pocket) except that it doesn’t cost extra money. They are just a great vet. I text them in the middle of the night and wake up to a reply. Both times I’ve had problems with my kitties, they get them into their urgent care THAT DAY. And they’re just so sweet. It’s a clean and cute establishment. Go here for everything except for 2am emergencies, for which you can go to Bulger. It’s the perfect plan.

I previously listed a harsh 1 star review of AAH. It was due in part to experience I had with one of their animal doctors (Dr. Marion).While I may not choose to come to see her again I get that people do have bad days and make mistakes. I also was not making any attempt to make the situation better.I decided to change the review as I cannot grade an entire office on the first time experience of my meeting with Dr. Marion. I also cannot grade her as a whole on a single meeting.After leaving the office, Dr. Caramati took time out of her schedule to call me to discuss my experiences as well as to discuss coming back to have the animals seen.She (Dr. Caramati) was very considerate and took time to listen to my concerns, share non-bias observations and it made me realize why I chose Andover Animal in the first place.I would recommend that you go to AAH for treatment for your animals as well as offer Dr. Marion a chance to meet / exceed your expectations.I normally would not retract a review but after the care and time that the rest of the team offered, I feel I should offer them at least as much as they have always (over the last five years) gone above and beyond to assist me in any way the pets needed.

I took my new Kitten to Andover Animal Hospital. I was so excited to be back after losing my Little Feline Girl. They were so sweet and kind to me and my Jazmyn. The front staff remembered me and welcomed me back. Dr. Manse also greeted me fondly. He did a through exam and read her paperwork from the Shelter. He ordered her back for testing and an appointment was made. The whole experience was as usual great! I love going there. I feel like I am visiting family.

This is a public warning⚠️ If you consider bringing your pet in for emergency care, don't come! I brought my poor cat to this animal hospital for an emergency eyes problem. When I walked in I told the front desk I needed a emergency help because my cat suddenly could not open his eyes and there are a lot of discharges in his eyes. The front desk looked with a cold face expression and said they can't do it today because there is no doctor on duty right now. They only accepted appointment visits. I was unbelievably shocked like really!? You claim you are a animal hospital and providing emergency care but you don't have doctors on duty now? Then why would you tell people you do help with emergency issues? If you are just a regular veterinary clinic which requires appointment put that information on your door and website! Don't waste people's time alright? So for any emergency care I highly recommend you to go VEG in Boston. They have enough vets for emergency care 24/7 and they charge you morally. That's all I am saying.

We have been going to the hosiptal for 20 years, the quality of service has decreased over the last 2 years. Recently my english lab became ill, would not eat his food. We call the vet to set up an appointment, if we want the same day, they were going to charge us 150.00. Which is new to us???We saw the visiting vet?? Who we did not know , she was very good, but there was no follow up, blood test showed white blood cell was high?After a month and half, of numerous calls, appointments...We went to a urgent care, they took a xray of his lungs, and they thought it was pheumonia. The vet there called the Mass vet referral Hosital in Woburn Ma. The vets there are great!! they took my dog in and did the proper test on him , they found he had lung cancer. So in 8 hour the right vet found out what was wrong with him. We had to put him down yesterday!!!! If they did their jobs correctly my dog might be alive . Thx Androve hosiptal!!!, NEVER GO THERE!!!

I have been going here for 24 years. When my family got our first dog when I was 4, we brought her here. And all our dogs since. I am now 28 and I have 4 dogs all who love going here.We had tried a different place closer to home Woburn Animal Hospital but they did not know how to handle bully breeds, constantly muzzling them (no history of biting) and causing a lot of anxiety around the vet. I was confident one of my dogs had Lyme due to severe symptoms and general exposure. They told me it was unlikely and just his “terrible twos” I pushed for testing and when the lab work cameback his levels were “off the charts.” I brought up concerns over my elderly dogs eyesight and was told she did not have cataracts but then 3 months later they suddely diagnosed her with them. (There was obvious film the first appointment, she was avoiding stairs and tried to jump in the car when the door was closed.) This is when I knew I needed to go back to Andover Andover because they treat animals with love, care and expertise. They take concerns seriously, try to make themselves available for emergencies and can communicate photos ect. over email which I appreciate.Even for my sugar glider recently, I took her to two different “exotic specialists” (Veterinary Emergency Group, Sager animal hospital and Littleton Animal hospital) who said it was a cornea scratch and gave me eye drops. She did not get better and I was starting to lose hope. I saw Andover started taking exotics within the last few years and because of my trust for them with my dogs I gave them a call, they quickly diagnosed my glider with a tooth infection (common in gliders) and prescribed appropriate oral medicine and she was 70% better after 5 doses. I am so grateful to have a Vet’s office I can trust with all my pets.

Andover Animal Hospital is wonderful! My german shepherd had been treated very badly at our previous vet so we went looking for a vet who was good with dogs who were terrified of vets. They were absolutely amazing with him. (He died at 14 years)They now have been seeing our new German shepherd puppy for almost two years and also are great with our cat. The respect they show for the animals and their people can't be beat. They make appointments quickly when necessary so you aren't left worrying about your sick fur baby. The staff in the office and the vet techs are easy to deal with and the office and examine rooms are all super clean.
