Spring is in the air. I notice AFB has done spring cleaning. They have a nice e display of fruits and house plants, which is really nice to look at when you walk in. I must say everything is always fully stocked there, and they have been promoting a little more sales. 😉 Nice neighborhood grocery to stop in, too. Look clean.

This people be over charging customers I was there on 9/23 and they charge me for something that I never bought so I went back into the store and I told the cashier to explain to me what that item was and she went into the bag and grab the first thing she touch and told me that she charge me the wrong price so I told her then charge me with the valid price but at all times I was speaking to her in English then when she call someone to help her the guy came and then she said something to him and he was rushing her to charge me then my light 💡 turn on there was something fishy so I ask to return my money back to me and guy keep insisting why I had to scream at them so they could give me my money back and they still stole money from me because they never gave me all my money they be ripping people off they change their price and over charge people I don’t know why this people are not being report.

Gd place crowed at times would've gave 4 stars but the cashier was very rude wanted to make sure I only had 10 items or less umm lady I can read and count but u allow the people ahead of me had 20 items YES I counted

They have done some renovations to the store so that is nice to see. I love the wide array of produce and cultural items. I took one star off because I wish their sales were better but it is a good store to shop at.

Everybody there is so nice and all the managers are the best and also if you spend over $100 you get a free taxi to go home I'd love shopping here I love the people that work there and I love everything also they have music when you're shopping and makes you feel happy when you are shopping there I love this place

I am really disappointed with the fact that they place a sticker over an old sticker which read that the expiration date was in one day but they went ahead a placed a new sticker that now read that the same meat will expire two weeks from the previous date… that’s disgusting

Horrible customer service! It's like I'm not welcome to be in that store or something. This business is literally in a area populated by Blacks and money's well spent so stop being discriminative toward those bringing you business! Excellent Customer Service goes a Long way!

The plastic bags say on them that they recycle in-store but this is false. I found maggots in the shelf food multiple times. Much of the fruit will look good on the outside but then on the inside it will be bad/old. The frozens and canned goods are fine though.

The Manager and staff are always very very nice and helpful this is the only AFB I will shop at the one in field's corner the staff are always rude and won't help find things. I think there awfully Expensive higher than Stop and Shop, Whole Foods Market. have gone up two ‐three $ on Orange juice, Cranberry juice along with other products!!!! Service is professionally good

Place stocked, clean and organized. Prices are a little to high. Some of the cashiers rude. They have their light on but they are in a heavy conversation with each other. A little annoying especially when you're trying to get in and out.

They need more isle space. My god people on top of people. They need to do something about the bees. As for customer service it's good and the security guards are nice as well.

Great cashiers. Bad customer service. Most cashiers there seem to have a mental issues and language barriers. Many workers here lost family due to covid 19 and negligence. During this pandemic workers get too close to touch your groceries. Workers and customers need to keep their distance. Other customers stand too close to you in line.This supermarket needs to clean more as well as enforce 6 feet apart rule. I witness most caucasian and african americans dont treat with respect our hardworking Hispanic community and culture. Keep Hatin americanized losers!

I'm visiting from New Jersey and stopped in with my Tia and was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed seeing familiar items from my childhood when I lived in Rep. of Panama. Too bad stores like this aren't all over. I will be back next time I'm in Boston.

Alright store. Isles are too tight, other customers are ignorant, checkout lines are way to long and slow. Meat selection is horrible and if you dont cook it with 2 days its bad.

America's Food Basket in Codman Square is a wonderful store with a good selection of mainstream, ethnic, and healthy / organic foods. They have great prices, nice staff and a good location. Better to support a privately owned small business that brings income & jobs right to your neighborhood than some big chain store. This store gets my loyalty!

Americas food basket is more than just regular food of North America its a diverse blend of culture and food from around the Caribbean islands central America and South American foods and spices that are hard to find and rare in most American stores its the best food store to buy things from Latin America and the islands too.

Sat in line while the manager watched me being ignored then. I left the line and a person who wasnt Caucasian was served. Then I had to go back to that line because I needed to cash in my lottery to make the purchase. When i was finally served my whole transaction took about five minutes because the server was utterly annoyed that i had lottery. Bad experience.

The female manager is pure evil likes to accuse neighborhood residents of stealing and then threatens and bans them from store most residents are sick of her and prefer to go elsewhere to get they're groceries as I would encourage others to do as well!!!

Smells bad. Peaches went bad THAT day. Have to have your bag checked by security or leave it at the front to go in (but that guy is really nice)
