If you want any groceries with an Island flair... you must visit this food market! The staff is very helpful and even help hand-select your produce! They've been around for decades and I'll never stop going! Great selections and the store is always really well kept.

I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with the level of service I received from this Supermarket. I had never been here before but heard very positive things about this place regarding their products. So as a Caribbean residing in the city, there are limited supermarkets and stores you can access certain international foods. So as you can imagine I was ecstatic to discover this jewel right in the heart of the community. I pride myself as an honest community supporter and passionate about such small family owned businesses. However, after spending a significant amount of money on just tea leaves, vitamins and wooden stick incense, I discovered the girl who cashed me out forgot to put all my things inside the bag once I arrived at home while unpacking. Rightfully, I called the store to notify of the error and informed them that I would not be able to return back to the store that day. The cashier simply assured me not to worry and to rest assure the items would be there for pick up anytime. So a week later while I happen to be in the neighborhood I went into pick up my items.Meanwhile, to my surprise, the manager of the store addressed my "simple" issue very unprofessional. Hence I had my receipt on me as proof that the missing items had never actually been handed to me. He went onto to state he wasn't aware of such matter. No one mentioned this issue to him and although I gave a clear description of the person who rung me up that day, he made it seem as if I was making this up. As you would have it, he hands down not only embarrassed me in a store full of customers making me seem as if I had nothing better to do but rob him of all but $3-$4 for some missing incense. He then continued on to say he was unclear who the employee was and if it was in fact one of the two other ladies who does work for him, but didn't have a contact phone number for her to call and confirm!🤦🏿‍♀️ I was not only upset at the fact at this was now my second trip to the store, only to be made to feel humiliated and accused of being a thief! Once I realized the conversation was headed nowhere especially since he never even bothered to ask me my name and/or phone number to avoid any further damage with maybe a follow -up he basically refused. In pursuit to rectifying the issue and perhaps in demonstrating some professionalism, I was so frustrated that I just ended it with inquiring when her next shift would be to avoid anymore negative attention to the matter with a store full of customers.Ultimately long story short, I went back again on the day this person would be working. Upon my arrival I discovered this was not the same cashier and was a bit anxious of another show down! Although, this time it was a different girl and the manager miraculously was now aware of the issue and in turn had no problem of suddenly giving me MY ITEMS which I PAID FOR with no apology what so ever. Sad to say, I will NOT BE RETURNING back here and it's unfortunate we live in a thriving community where we value such vendors taking part of the small business market and this is how the staff behaves to their audience! Especially when it's management who has the power to change the stigma.

Ive known the owners for a long time. The customers are slow and disrespectful most of the time. Folks really need to speed up at the register. Too many long conversations especially when you only want to buy one thing and there are several customers in front of you walking back and forth getting groceries at the last minute. Good people . Slower customer Service.

This store is never open on time. I Google it to check when it’s open it’s never open when it’s supposed to be open and it’s very inconvenient to my life and it actually makes me angry. This store has a lot of bad reviews.
