This review is specifically for the pharmacy at this location. Let me start by saying that Amy (pharmacist) is an angel on earth. The compassionate care she provided to me, and on my behalf, at an incredibly stressful time was not just a testament to her as an incredible pharmacist but as an incredible person. She went above and beyond to ensure that I had access to essential healthcare even when it seemed that the odds were stacked against me. Her dedication and determination were evident as she navigated obstacles to secure access to a vital medication and part of my treatment plan. An absolute standout woman who is a fierce advocate for her customers. Thank you, Amy & the pharmacy team at Patriot Square CVS.

The CVS store itself is standard, one person on register/6 in line with 2 checkout robots that constantly malfunction. CVS PHARMACY goes above and beyond to ruin your day though; it's quite literally the poorest run operation of any kind I have ever had the misfortune to stumble across. The pharmacy techs have NO pharmaceutical knowledge, which doesn't matter in the end because they literally make an effort to be rude/reject your humanity. Not indifferent, not unhappy with their job, but quite literal disgust for anyone standing across from them. They nonchalantly disseminate incorrect information regarding medications like a local giving bad directions to a tourist. Pharmacists are equally disenchanted with existence. Pharmacists routinely have no technical knowledge beyond the information on the side of the bottle. I understand your disillusionment. But really, with all those drugs back there I can't get one smile and an engaging personality?Edit 12/06/23: Never going back. Resident register lummox Gene raised his voice at me when I pointed out they've been open for 30 minutes when he claimed "they just opened!"; whatever I've seen him have a few tantrums on customers before. Then whilst waiting, I saw him yell at a 90+ year old guy cause he didn't understand what a prior authorization was. Didn't try to help him call the doctor/clear it up, didn't try to explain succinctly what a PA is. Just threw up his hands and screamed over the elderly man until the poor guy gave up. It was apparently for a life threatening condition as well. Pharmacist wasn't as rude as Mean Gene, but was just as unhelpful and cosigned Gene's verbal assault, "Have the doctor call us." THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE! WHO'S THE DR. GOING TO TALK TO? I'm friggin shocked, disgusted and genuinely concerned for the well being of that elderly gentleman.The only kind person consistently working in the place is the tall guy on the register. Nice dude. Literally everyone else, I have had a net negative experience, with each on varying degrees of magnitude.Moral of the story, officially changing over to Walgreens

Unbelievably bad. Prescription for doxy (I got a tick bite) was called in and it took a week to fill. Now I’ve got Lyme disease and need full treatment. Pharmacist was rude and did not care nor did she care to find out why it took so long. This pharmacy is consistently bad on all levels and now switching to another

On 10/23/23 while checking in for vaccination shot with a friend. Myself and friend were treated very. Rude. Disrespectful. Unprofessional. And very. Louded talked to on our way to sit and wait for a. Vaccination shot for my. Friend. This is the most. Negative interaction either one of us has ever had at any. C. V. S. Amy the pharmacist was. I have given this store very negative reviews in the past because of lack of service at the pharmacy so I was compelled to submit this great review of the great experience I received today. I mean it’s 180 degree different from every past experience dealing with the pharmacy this time. I received great customer service from the pharmacy personnel and awesome customer service from the pharmacist Christian. I greatly appreciate his friendly demeanor and making my shopping experience a pleasant one. He provided me great customer service by being informative and taking his time to explain things and actually providing me options to save money on my medications. He went above and beyond making my shopping experience wonderful, a completely opposite of my previous experiences with this CVS. This young man should be providing your other pharmacy employees at other stores training on how to treat customers and not just making transactions. Forming positive relationships with the customers, and building trust. A complete turn around in the coworkers demeanor and it permeates on the customer’s experience. My hats off to Christian for caring enough about his customers and his staff, it shows! He should win a vacation to Aruba or something for contributing to a culture change in that store!

Beyond comprehension on how ignorant the pharmacy is run. When you are notified to pick up your prescription you wait in line for 25 minutes because the person at the register does not anticipate anything, then your informed its not ready. However, you leave the line and 30 seconds later you get a tm saying its ready. . Guess what, gotta wait in line again. Stay away!

The worst CVS in the chain. Prescriptions are never ready on time. Never! Even when I get a text to come and pickup they’re always “in process” and they make you wait 15-30 minutes. They’re either incompetent, understaffed, or not trained to handle the volume. I’ve moved my prescriptions to Walgreens after 25 years as a loyal CVS customer. Inconvenient for me but far more healthier than having to deal with the pharmacy at this location.

Prescription mixups, "no-answer" hold times over half an hour for basic prescription inquiries, showing prescription holds but only after having charged my credit card, processing prescriptions which were to be picked up at the pharmacy, yet instead sent to a mail order affiliate (Caremark) ... and that's pretty much just the "tip of the iceberg.

Pharmacy is poorly run, and understaffed at all times. Regardless of how many days ahead you call to order a refill.. it’s NEVER ready. Automated system... same thing. “We are just finishing that up for you, it will be about 20mins”.... no matter how many days ahead you’ve ordered the refill . This month will be the 3rd time they are out of a medication I order (every month for over a year). I will be transferring my prescriptions to Rite Aid, where the employees are friendly and competent.

Not everyone here is nice, it depends on who you get. This CVS is busy in the summer so they never pick up the phone or get your prescription ready on time. I tried to transfer a script from my pharmacy in Maine and it took them THREE days. No lie. Good luck all who try to get med here! They won't get it for you until you come in to the store to badger them...even if you call it in and the phone tells you it will be ready at a certain time. And when you do that they're mostly rude!

Why bother calling my prescriptions in early? The pharmacy had the whole day from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM to have my prescriptions filled, but were not ready and it wasn't very busy, the insurance that I usually get through Good Rx was not applied. I would have saved time by just walking in and having it filled then.

Really pretty poorly run. A great example is the new "lunch hour" where they shut down the entire pharmacy in the middle of the day "for lunch." Walgreens doesn't do that. Prescriptions are "in process" forever and no one answers the phone when you call in.

The people are nice enough but no matter what I get for a prescription nor how long its been since its been called in it is never ready. I went in yesterday around 5pm to pick up a script that was faxed over from my dentist and was told itll be ready in 35 minutes. It has now been almost 24 hours and its still not ready. Happens every single time without fail.

This is by far the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Anytime you go in to get your RX that is supposedly ready-- you have to wait 15 minutes for them to then fill it. Everytime I go in the wait is ridiculous. 0 Convenience what so ever. I got so upset the last time I was in there with a Crying baby (after i got a text saying my rx was ready) they said I had to wait 15- 30 minutes. I left and called my insurance company. I am now going to get my RX through the mail so I dont have to deal with that. Also, the RX I take has severe withdrawals-- so how is it even allowed that they never have it ready the day i ask? DO yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!!

Don't like the self checkout. Bags are too small you've there. I had several items no cashier available so I had to do self checkout. I scan 2 item then the alarm sound went off that someone will be over to assist me. Ok for what I scan 2 post cards then out my items in the bagging area. Then the person beside me had the same issue. Someone came and it did it again.Worst idea ever to have self checkout in a cvs it's not a grocery .

This would be one of the best pharmacies on Cape if it wasn't for ONE lady who occasionally answers the phone. She is incredibly rude and condescending and never asks when you would like to pick up your prescription. She instead tells you she will "put it in for a couple of hours from now". If you are lucky enough to get any other pharmacist or employee on the phone you will have no problems and a very pleasant experience. They are a busy pharmacy but if you call an hour or so before you need to pick up you will have no problem. Just steer clear of the tall blonde lady with glasses and trust me, you'll know what I mean if she picks up the phone...

Prescriptions are never ready when say they are. You wait forever on the phone for someone to pickup and when it says they’re ready and texted. They’re not. Very frustrating. They either need more help or update they’re computer system to sync with the cvs app.

The pharmacy can't seem to refill any prescriptions on time lately... and the Cape Cod Times reported they are thousands of prescriptions behind and not taking new orders. Time to add staff CVS!

Every time My husband or I come in for a prescription here we are forced to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes for it to be ready. My husband has even received texts his script was ready but when he arrived it still wasn’t available. This happens too much to be a coincidence.

I just phoned this CVS for info about an OTC that I use, as I will be traveling from West Coast to there in a few weeks. Very friendly service and was reassured that they carry what I need. Saves me from packing a supply from my home.

The Foxboro Pharmacy at Patriots Place my girlfriend and I both have been going there for a long time.And Grace Steve and David are very helpful and we never have a problem there.We both would rate that pharmacy team wonderful.Our opinions on all 3 of them Steve, Grace,and David are wonderful and excellent service so a 5 star rating from both myself Charlie Bolton an Donna Davies and will always go to that CVS in Patriots Place.They are the best.

Customer service in the Pharmacy (behind the register) could be better - I mean at least act like you like your job = but store is clean and convenient.
