Unfortunately due to living a half hour away from the Old Creamery I don't get there as often as I would like too. But because of an errand I was in the area, so I couldn't give up the opportunity to grab the OC's delicious (the absolute best I've ever had) chicken salad sandwiches. As long as I'm going to come clean about things, I've actually driven the half hour out of my way when I was pregnant just to get the chicken salad sandwich.... 🤫 Now you know how good it is! They have local products, organic items, the deli is yummy, all of the staff is friendly, I can't complain about a darn thing, except that I can't have my Ckn salad sandwiches more often, because I live about a half hour away, and that nowadays costs about a days pay in gas money...

I've been here many times riding a motorcycle, always food is great and coffee as well. Definitely recommended place to stop by and get good local food.

Wee little hilltown grocery nestled in the mountains has an excellent deli, a boutique area, and just the organic, natural health food and general merchandise essentials. Spots to sit outside, and lots of lovely flowers growing. I thought it was charming.They seems to get a lot of grumpy lunch-break type folk who are unable to tolerate waiting patiently for some nice person to make them a fine sandwhich. I was amazed at how rude this one fellow was toward the deli counter staff. Leave a tip and be nice. These folks work hard.

If what you're looking for is rediculously overpriced groceries this is the place to go. It's amazing how places like this stay in business. The average blue collar worker can't shop here.

5 stars just for the pastries! The sandwiches are phenomenal as well. Cute little grocery store with more than meets the eye. Definitely worth a stop when driving through western MA.

Food is good. Way overpriced, and small portions. Don't bother going in without at mask, they stare you down as if you've done something wrong, which makes you feel very unwelcomed. It is highly unlikely that I will ever return.

I always try to stop by here when I'm in the area. The bread for the sandwiches is a homemade focaccia. OMG, is it delicious. The food is fabulous. I love the beer and wine selection (I picked up an 8.99 bottle of white wine made from organic grapes that was delicious. (and it was 8.99!!) I also picked up local roasted coffee beans. Great staff, too.

this review is a result of a culmination of negative experiences that have happened over the course of 6 monthsThe first time I ordered sandwiches I called ahead of time and they told me 20 min but when I got there they hadnt even started the sandwiches yet and I proceeded to wait another 20. I thought they were busy and this was a one off experience so I continued to give them more chances and came back.Next time I got sandwiches a long wait also happened and they missed sauerkraut on my reuben. The time after they missed pickled onions on my orchard sandwich. All the sandwiches are like 3-4 ingredients so every part is crucial and frankly I dont know how they are missed so frequently.Came back again another time for ice cream and that was also a miss - my two scoop cone had a second scoop was like half the size of the first scoop.For the grocery store itself, items are mistagged with the wrong prices. Cashiers dont honor the price on the tag when things are mistagged and generally feels like it is just as disorganized as the deli.Mistakes happen and I totally understand but when it happens over and over again, and customer service really isn’t there to make up for it... I do not think I will be coming back now. I want to support local grocery stores and businesses in the hilltowns but Ive just had much better experiences at chesterfield general store, olivers farmstand in goshen, and the williamsburg market. really disappointed.

An enjoyable stop for breakfast or lunch. Atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. The food is great and wholesome. Amazing desserts and ice cream. Love the breakfast sandwiches and coffee.Grocery shelves are stocked with everything you might need, along with plenty of choices for a smaller store. They have excellent produce, cheese, dairy, meats/fish, bread, baked goods, soaps, drinks, and even gifts of books or locally made pottery, candles, and cards.Love shopping at this place which was created by a lot of hard work and positive energy!

Unique gem of a spot. Combination deli (excellent sandwiches), bakery (the cakes are genius), ice cream spot, and general store (long on local/independent sodas and beer, wine, chocolate bars), cooperatively owned. Due to its relative isolation, it caters to tourists and locals apparently in equal parts. There really are very few other places in the country to compare it with.

Slice of apple raspberry pie a la mode.....best pie I have ever had. Perfect crust, fruit filling sweetness was just right with a crisp topping. So delicious from first bite to last. I immediately purchased a whole pie to bring home.

Fantastic food, great service, great experience. Was passing through and stopped in, bought a sandwich, several of their fresh deli selections such as the chickem salad, some of their fresh trail mixes, and a few other things. Ill be sure to stop here every time I come through even though I live about 3 hours away. Just really really good! Thanks!

The sitting area atmosphere was a cute cafe style. That was the best part. The store prices were generally high. The size of the panini for $8.99 was so small that I was truly shocked. All that came with it was a 1/4 pickle wedge. This was definitely​ a dissapointing lunch.

Awesome place to stop for local prepared foods or staples to make a meal at home. The last time I was here, I was browsing cheeses when an employee spent some time going over the different choices they offer and what makes them unique and even let me try some samples. They always have friendly service and go the extra step to make you feel welcome.

Perfect little store, with just the right amount of grocery items and a delicious sandwich selection. Great place for a cup of coffee while you read the newspaper, for a lunch with friends or family, or to pick up a few items while you're on the road.

This is a really great community locale, the food is delicious and the produce is fresh and local.But the management seems to be problematic, they've chased away most of the workers who have been staples for well over a decade. I'm very sad to see the rough and drastic changes that have been happening over the last two years.

The coffee was from a fresh dispenser. It was FULL of grounds and had virtually NO flavor. The ginger molasses cookie and chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting were nothing short of spectacular. The place was packed. The house blend coffee and 1/2 & 1/2 dispensers were empty but were filled immediately by a very nice woman once I called it to their attention.

One star. The SINGLE star is for the distant memory of the way it HAD been, when it was a 5 star place. I used to adore the Creamery. In the 80’s, 90’s and even up into the 2000’s.So sad how down hill it’s become!! Some people working there are very nice and very hard working. However, the MANAGEMENT IS HORRENDOUS. How RUDE. How UNPROFESSIONAL. How GROSSLY MISMANAGED can a place be??? HE knows who he is, and he has been part and parcel of this once fine establishment’s utter downfall. AVOID this place.

Homey little cafe with a bit of everything. So many delicious homemade choices ...decisions decisions, u won't be dissapointed it's obvious why this place is a local favorite ; prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if your just passing through , we will be back!

Motorcycle destination!! RT 112 is great for sport touring and ADV guys should enjoy Stage rd . The food here is restaurant style good . Not chain restaurant but chef/owner good . Eat in or take it with you and picnic down by the river .

Nice place, but you'll go broke unless you're there to buy LED bulbs. I'm a tourist and this region is more expensive than what I'm accustomed. Good food and diverse selection of products.
