I'm not sure why this place is so highly rated. Maybe the pub fare is better. All the seafood dishes my party ordered were not good. The clams were overdone, the pasta was runny and not tasty. My husband did like the baked scallops! The chowder tasted canned. The waitress was lovely, she was handling almost the entire place with a smile and no mistakes. The burgers we saw go by did look nice. Townie atmosphere.

Kettle ho is nestled in downtown Cotuit. Seafood, burgers. We got fried scallops and a Bleu burger. Both dishes arrived piping hot. The fried onion rings and scallops were done in fresh oil and served right out of the fryer. The place was pretty busy for a Sunday night in October, on the cape. I recommend you go see why. You won't be disappointedParking: Parking along the street and a small lot across the street. Looks as if people park at the post office up the street after it closes tooKid-friendliness: Kids were running around having a pretty good time. There is a kids menu. I almost got a hot dog

Just arrived on the Cape and the kids are starving and the adults need a beverage: Kettle Ho is the place to go!The targeted yet diverse menu had six selections for the kids and fish, beef, sandwiches, salads, apps for the adults. Charming tavern atmosphere where the severs, bussers, and bartenders are genuinely happy you are there. We had the most amazing server who treated our five kids with respect and was someone who I would grab drinks with after!A mix of locals and vacationers all enjoying the food and drinks, laughter and baseball in the air. What more do you want? We came in around 4:30 and it was busy (as it should be!) when we were leaving at 6pm.Adults had the Swordfish special with double veg (garlic butter was amazing!), Sirloin tips perfectly medium rare, and the Kettle Ho burger which has EVERYTHING which was absolutely delicious. (Sorry all the food pics have bites out of them, we couldn't control ourselves!)Although we aren't always in Cotuit we will come back no matter where we are on the Cape. Bravo from the front of the house to the back. "This is not the Ho you use to know."

Three of us came for lunch and we were not disappointed. The lobster rolls were a bit pricey but most excellent. Fine local beer is available and the service is very good. The place has a nice college feel with all the school banners on display. You might spend some time trying to find yours!

Great local place where everyone from the village gathers. Both summer folks and locals. It is hard to believe that this is the same Kettle Ho that I grew up having breakfast at. Now going there as a parent with my daughter and her friends. Even they have fun here! This is not the Ho I used to know!!!

It was our first time here. It was packed. The hostess stand is in the back right and not too noticeable when the place was packed to the brim. So when we walked in no one acknowledged us (it is that kind of place - like everyone who has been there has come for generations and "knows the unspoken rules" - which is fine but we stood around for a bit before we could actually talk to someone to put our name in for a table, which was a 45 minute wait at 7pm). Lucky for us, two seats opened up at the bar after 15 minutes. We sat there and had GREAT service by Sam the bar tender. He was mindful, attententive, made excellent drinks and could talk to all people. When I say generations come there, it is not an exaggeration. There were people in their 20s, 30s and with babies in tow, middle-aged, retired, and even those spry folk in their 80s!The appetizer special- shrimp postickers - was ok and a little over cooked but the main dishes were great- little necks over pasta and baked sea scallops. And decently priced for the Cape! We will be back.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. My husband an my sister and I ordered the prime rib and we're not disappointed. Gave you enough food to bring home. Brother got the lobster roll and was just lobster meat. Delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. Rustic and cozy atmosphere.

Salad was black and the only thing the waitress said was "it was made this morning " . The scallops seared on one side and raw on other and were cold. Ruben meat was unrecognizable and flavorless. Flat bread was edible. The root beer, Pepsi and ginger ale were terrible . The service wasn't very good. Definatly will not be going back ! They could have cared less ...

We were there at 4:30 on black Friday and it was packed for happy hour and it was VERY noisy. Fun atmosphere if you like that kind of thing, but it was difficult to converse at our table. Taste of food is average and expensive for portions: four medium shrimp & five medium scallops for $22. Maybe seafood prices have gone up??? Service was very friendly, but very slow; we never got drink refills after our request. I only saw three servers, so maybe they're understaffed like most places now.

Great ambience, seemed to be lots of locals there. I ordered the scallops- they were good but it tasted a bit like there was alcohol in the recipe that was supposed to have burned off in the cooking process but didn’t. Staff was very friendly.

Love this place! Food is great and so is the service. I love the local vibe in the off season months. The staff is friendly and attentive. One of my fave places to go in the winter to have a beer and strike up conversation with my neighbor at the bar.
