The alcohol prices are the same of a small gas station store. Their not ridiculous, but it's worth considering a store like Wyman's as the prices are several dollars cheaper.But you pay for convenience, which is nice. and they have a good selection of alcohol there, not so much in beer.Otherwise, the store is clean. Staff seems friendly but my interaction with them is limited of course.

Sadly, I had a very bad experience at the Clinton Shaws. Two different credit cards into their chip reader failed and the person behind the counter treated me as if it were my problem (I observed another customer ahead of me having the same issue and both of my cards work just fine elsewhere). A discussion with the store manager continued the theme of their faulty chip reader is their customers' problem.

Beautiful store with a very big selection. Much larger and better than Hannaford. Nice bakery and deli/cheese selections and very well maintained.

I feel safe bringing my service dog here, this is her all time favorite place to work! the building is accessible for mobility aids as well. the staff here are super friendly and they all have great personalities, enough so that my service dog definitely has her favorite employees. dog treat and dog food options have become better in the past few years, even more so recently in the past few months! my dog gets her food from here, it’s great! produce is always fresh. things are a bit expensive here but it’s worth it bc it’s super fun to shop here imo. the yogurt options here are great, which is much appreciated by a family of yogurt fiends.

Visited on a Friday early afternoon. This is a very local store to me so I have been in here probably close to a 1000 times over 20+years. Today I was part of a 3 way interaction between 2 employees and myself over a stock question I had about a particular item. As I was heading out one of the employees involved had taken my question to the customer service desk and another employee was going to assist me. Thank you the associate that took the time to try and get me an answer. The associate that came to help from the CS area was exceptionally helpful, knew the issue on the item, got the right person to see if there was any additional stock in the back(there was ! awesome). When I thanked them for taking time to help me I learned that she was the store manager.What really stuck with me was the ease in which she took my question and offered to help. It was not a typical exchange between an employee and customer. After only a few seconds I felt like I was talking to someone I had known for years and telling her about the weird interaction I had earlier. She listened to me, offered her view on it, and we genuinely had a meaningful discussion about what might have been going on. That level of communication and understanding with a retailer is stupendously rare these days and I am very grateful to have had the chance to discuss it with them. This was a win/win. I was able to express the unease I felt by witnessing it , and they get a deeper explanation of the dynamics involved and will be able to monitor and address it if needed.

Lines are often long which reduces this business from 5 to 3 stars.Pros: varietyCons:- every time I come here it takes me 15-30 minutes to check out. Even if I only have a few items.- prices: shaws is typically more expensive than other grocers in the area.

They are doing the whole store over. It is clean and bright but this change comes at a price. Shaws prices are higher on most items. Their bakery has improved and they are doing well. The deli is great, try the rotisserie chicken, you won't be disappointed. The seafood is outstanding. Their employees are well trained and polite.

If you want to save on off the shelf items, shop Walmart. Shaws prices for off the shelf items are much higher than WalmartA few examples:Yasso Bars - Shaws $6.99 Walmart $4.98Thomas English Muffins - Shaws $5.49 Walmart $3.48Bounty 12=24 Shaws $23.99 Walmart $22.18Folgers Columbian Shaws $10.99 Walmart $9.98and the list goes on to almost every item.It's easy to spend $20 more at Shaws on one trip.

I used to go here because they had a separate section near the produce for the healthier/natural items. I could go in and get all my shopping done in that section without having to go through all the aisles of junk. It was worth spending the extra $100+ to go here but they have since moved everything around and now you have to search for the healthy items within the garbage food. Its no longer worth the insane amount of money you spend here vs market basket or another grocery store. After spending that time and money you then have to bag your own groceries.

With this being the only Shaw's closest to me, it fills the void left by the Leominster Branch closing, but I can't go as often being further awayShaw's has ALWAYS been my go to for quality baked goods, produce & a variety of many products you don't find in many grocery stores. Even more so during the pandemic.The only downside is the liquor store within/connected to it. The prices are not all that great across the board & not much variety. It is convenient though since you can make a beer/wine/spirits pairing as you plan your meal at once. Despite that, it makes your one stop shopping for such occasions easier.The employees here are great. They bring a friendly atmosphere as well as being helpful from the moment you enter to the moment you leave the store.If you are in Clinton, definitely come to their Shaw's for your grocery shopping!

Neighborhood grocery store. Friendly crew, clean store. Prices are a bit high. But quality is A+. Hey - please carry Bachman big bags of thin pretzel stix. Original, not oven-flamed baked. We eat a ton of them and have to drive to Marlborough to get them at Price Chopper! =)

Every week, same issue. It's Friday at 3:30 and everything they put on sale for the weekend is sold out. Every week. Last week, ground beef. This week, swordfish. I'm sure it'll be something else next week. Going to start going to the Hudson or Shrewsbury stores, as this one never has anything in stock.

Upgrading my rating to a four. They have clearly trained their cashiers to accommodate their own rewards policies. Customer service is much better. I recently started buying from their bakery and was very surprised and pleased with the quality of the cakes. One of the better bakeries in the area.

The deli is amazing, a huge selection of high quality meats. They often have very good sales and specials on products throughout the store. Checkout can be a bit slow, but the employees are very friendly and helpful. A bit more expensive than other local stores but offer much larger selection of produce and organic choices.

Today in Clinton I was treated rudely by a member of the deli staff. After waiting many minutes while 4 employees laughed and joked among themselves, I walked over to them to tell them I had been waiting. One of them did not like hearing that I was dissatisfied with their lack of customer awareness. She whipped off her plastic gloves, walked away and refused to serve me. For me that was the last straw for a supermarket that is not so super.

The store is a smaller one but has a good variety of products. Some items I've tried to find was not in stock but could be ordered. They have a nice organic section compared to others in the area. The store is always clean, and the staff is friendly. Produce is always beautiful and the meat dept is well stocked with sale items.

Way overpriced compared to other supermarkets. Also, there are no signs anywhere that states if you bring your own bags to help save the environment you actually have to bag your own groceries. I brought bags, the cashier threw them at the end of the conveyor belt to a girl standing there that I assume would be bagging the groceries but all she did was stand there with a bored look on her face and did nothing. When I asked her if she was going to bag the groceries was then informed that they don’t bag groceries if you bring your own bags, you have to do that. OK so I’m doing her job for her and she wouldn’t even get out of the way for me to bag my own groceries so I had to reach over her to get to the groceries. Ridiculous and will never go back.

Last week I placed an order with Shaw’s in preparation of a 60th Birthday party. I ordered cupcakes, 2 large platters of wings (honey & buffalo) and a platter of roll up sandwiches and a platter of traditional sandwiches. I placed the sandwiches and cupcakes two days earlier than the wings. When placing the order for the wings I put down the wrong pick up date. I rec’d a call from the Manager who was on “TOP” of his game and noticed I had two different pick up dates. Ty so much for saving the day! Also I rec’d so many compliments on the platters of wings. The wrap sandwiches were also a hit! Ty to the wonderful Manager and thank you Shaw’s for the availability of this convenience of this service.

OK, so I Drove 40 mins from Ashburnham to purchase something that showed available online at the Clinton store. Because I didn't need 15 of the product I was unable to get curbside pickup. When I got to the store they had NONE. I spoke to an associate who kindly explained why and I understood, HOWEVER, I went to "Customer Service" to see where the closest Shaw's was and it appeared the closest is Hudson which is another 30 mins away. I asked the "Customer Service" associate if she could call the store to insure they have at least 6 boxes on the shelf before I drove another 30 mins only to find out they too had none. She told ME to call the store and check. I'm sorry - but aren't YOU "CUSTOMER SERVICE????" I thought I WAS asking for "Customer Service???" Isn't that what YOU do?? SMH

The outside looks kinda creepy & there's definitely a bunch of times where half the letters on the sign burned out. But, insides pretty nice. I'm a frontline worker during COVID & live in the Clinton areas, this a safe place for me to grocery shop. Not many people are there at any given moment & they are always stocked up with most products. There's a 50% off isle that's always amazing, even for myself who follows a gluten/dairy-free diet.

I received the BEST customer service I've had in a long time at Shaw's, Clinton, MA tonight. Pam, the manager helped us locate an uncommon item and wouldn't give up until she found it. THEN I needed a battery jump and she came to the rescue. A smile on her face the whole time. The world needs more people like Pam. Shaw's should be very happy to have her representing their brand. Thank you.
