Store staff is great. Pharmacist is incompetent, rude, and unhelpful. Medication are frequently out of stock. Very difficult to speak to anyone on the phone.

First off, I understand that all CVS pharmacy's are experiencing staffing challenges but it's now impacting peoples ability to reliably fill prescriptions. The pharmacy section on the app also never seems to be working.I have a prescription set on automatic refill. My doctor called in a refill on 12/27/22 since I was out. I went in to pick it up two days later on 12/29/22. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, I was told they receive it but it was "filed". Why would you "file" a refill on a Rx that is set to auto refill and not refill it??? Instead of waiting for them to fill it, I opted to come back the next day since there was a long line and I know they are short staffed. The woman who helped me said it would be ready tomorrow and confirmed they would be open till 9pm. Mind you, I had one pill left at that point since it should have been ready on 12/27/22.I went back around 6:00pm on 12/30/22 and the pharmacy gates were down and a single pharmacy employee was helping the last few customers. I appreciate him staying, likely past his shift, and dealing with those in line who were also experiencing the same problems. Unfortunately, it was STILL not filled. I don't understand. If I could have waited for it, why would it not be ready the next day after I was assured it would be? Thankfully, he was able to give me a few pills to hold me over since I'm out and could not go back AGAIN tomorrow....but I still need to go back.This is my second time experiencing a Rx not filled timely (not even talking same day they receive it) in the past couple months. I will likely try Walgreens next time as I can't keep making the trip to the pharmacy multiple times a week.I would not recommend this pharmacy location if you actually need something filled sooner rather than later.

A good CVS Pharmacy is one that you don’t need to leave a review for. Unfortunately, we have to leave a review for this one. It is poorly managed, incredibly rude, with no oversight. Could this be due to being understaffed? Possibly, but the abysmal professionalism by the pharmacists and the attitude of the employees is unacceptable. I do not recommend this location, which in the end, is probably good for them so they have less customers to offput.

The CVS pharmacy in Clinton, Massachusetts is absolutely horrible. I brought my prescription in on Saturday, Sept 17, 2022 around 5 pm. The young man who served me was rude. He asked if I could go to another pharmacy with my prescription because they were too busy. I told him I couldn't because my insurance which is caremark requires me to go to CVS. Then he said I could go to another CVS pharmacy. I live in Clinton, why should I go to another which is out of town? He then brought it to the pharmacist and she was also rude and said I needed to take it immediately. I was told I could start the next day due to taking an ointment for the bug bite I was in for. The young man then told me to return on Sunday when they opened at 10 AM. The pharmacist then yelled NO.. come at Noon. When I went to pick up my prescription today, the girl at the counter (who I have known for years) told me to send this complaint. She apologized for the rudeness. This is no the first time I have encountered rude pharmacists when bringing in or picking up a prescription. The CVS Pharmacy is Clinton MA needs a complete overhaul or they need more training in customer service. I honestly HATE going to this pharmacy but due to my insurance being caremark I am stuck. Honestly I would rather go to Walgreens in Clinton, MA, there you are not waiting for hours for a prescription or being treated in a rude manner.. The CVS in Clinton MA needs some lessons in manners and respect. I am the customer they are there to serve ME not me serving them.
