Pellets were difficult to pickup because loading area was at front of store on main Street in clinton,ma. Diagonal parking only, difficult to back into, and could only get to within 30 feet of the pile. I will say the lady who helped me load 25 bags was great.

I buy paint there. since national lumber switched over to california paints I buy my ben moore paints at aubuchon. Its a good store locally and I hope contractors can get the products they want from there. I hope aubuchon keeps investing in improving the paint dept. in the clinton store. All my painting contacts want to make the store to buy from in central ma.

A great, friendly neighborhood hardware store. They have just about everything thing you need and more. Great paint section and a deep selection of individual hardware. Not the cheapest, compared to the big box store, but the convenience and personal service is worth the small premium.

We just moved to Clinton two weeks ago. We went into the store to buy a shovel and ended up finding chairs, a table and a drink cooler on clearance. We wanted to buy them but couldn't fit them in our car and asked if we could come pick them up later. An employer offered to drop them off for us later in the day as he had a truck. I was amazed by his generosity. We were given a percentage off of the clearance price for our items and a couple hours later our furniture was dropped off at our house. We tried to give the employee money but he would not take it. This kind good deed really made us feel welcome in this city. So glad we moved here, and can't wait to continue to be a customer.

I never write reviews, but today I had yet another bad experience. When you allow children to run your store, you will get what you pay for.I went in for paint. Knew what I wanted. I went to the paint department and no one was there. So I walked back to the check out. 2 young men were there and I said I need some paint. I got an eye roll and loud sigh. The "kid" said, there's someone over there. So....I walked back to the paint department, looked around and waited. It seemed like an eternity. So....I went back to the counter and said "I'm still waiting for paint " The other "kid" said , "yea, we're kinda busy".All set. I try to shop local, I try to avoid the big box stores, well I know it just doesn't matter.When you think about retailers (that all carry the same thing) what one thing will set you apart?? Your customer service!!! Train your associates better and keep customers. Dismissive, condescending, and agitated associates will chase them away.

I've gone here about once every two weeks since I moved to Clinton. The manager keyed a new lock for me, and the other manager helped me try to find something they didn't have and gave suggestions. All of the other employees are always in good moods and happy to help.

This store is truly amazing. Manager and staff treat you like family. They also have been there for our community during this hardtime. They have someone constantly keeping store clean. They also have alot of essential supplies on hand that you cant get anywhere else that is needed in this time. Thank you Donald, David, and Eric and rest of the staff with management team.

I came to get some black mulch and they had plenty! Dylan helped with loading of the 3 bags into my car and allowed me to throw out some empty bags in his dumpster! So convenient to me project! Love this place!!!

Trailer hitch snapped off of my truck while heading home. Not knowing if they would carry such an item, I stopped in because I was almost forced to abandon my trailer, but to my surprise, that had exactly what I needed. They were very helpful, and also helped me to install the hitch. I love small town hardware stores, and THEY are exactly while I feel that way.

Greeted and assisted almost immediately every time I enter the store, unlike the big box places where they only ask "how are you?", not "How may I help you?". The staff has always brought me to exactly what I was looking for and they have always been pleasant. I highly recommend this store.

The lady who works the paint department is phenominal. She is so good with picking colors for what I need that I will always wait for her shift to get help. She will spend as much time with you as you need. She knows her stuff.

Should be 0 stars for customer service. I called ahead to check availability of a specific product. The clerk went off and came back reporting they had it. They didn't. Trip wasted. I was very clear in saying it slowly "ScotchGard Heavy Duty Water Shield". They didn't have an apology either. Small wonder that on-line buying is popular.

They have everything you'll need and everything you can't find anywhere else. That's the good part. The staff might not be helpful and some will bend over backwards to help. Every store seems dated and your there the week after they cleaned it. Something is wrong with management at every level.

Aubuchon hardware is convenient to my home in Clinton. They consistently have items that I need. Employees are always friendly and available to assist. My favorite area in the store is the Clearance section where I usually find a useful item.

Great hardware store, and someone comes up and asks if they can help you. Good selection, too. They have the bolts that big box stores can't or won't carry.
