Took my dog there for the first time. People were nice. However, the grooming was not so nice. It is one the worst cuts my dog has had since I've been in Massachusetts. Not to mention bad dog dander ever since. A real chop job, uneven cut , bald spots, dip cuts in smooth areas. It's just awful. The person must have been new and in training. I would not recommend this location.

Actually had the CBD treats I have my dog taking during our major move from her lifetime home in Maryland to a totally new environment.When she realized her whole world was systematically being disassembled around her, she didn't understand what was happening, started to stress out with manifested as obsessive scratching and skin inflammation. Once she was on the CBD, she went almost immediately back to her hyper, yet chill self.The big box power stores in Maryland didn't carry the CBD infused treats and we had to go to cannabis smoke shops that also carried those dog treats, so it was a relief not to have to go through the search process again here.Also, the nice cashier laughed at my dumb dad jokes in a way that actually seemed like she genuinely found them funny. Really that's all I need to give 5 stars, but I don't write as comprehensive a review if that's all that was good. I know, I'm needy and shallow, but at least I own it, right?Good talk....

Started coming here this month. I am impressed. So happy to know everyone at this PetSmart genuinely cares for and takes great care in all the small animals sold here. From a ball python to a goldfish.its so refreshing to see that. The staff was knowledge and actually wanted to help me find my purchase,and did it politely. I could tell this was a nicely run store because first glance the shelves are full, all the merchandise was organized perfect. I'm not going anywhere else for my pets !

Lovely store. Very clean environment. My only concern was with the amount of invertebrates that they had that were dead and the lack of employees to help customers. I was able to Google the questions that I had because an employee wasnt able to assist me in time, but check-out was smooth and hassle free.

This place should not sell fish if there is no staff to take care of them. Half the tanks had all dead fish, others clearly had ick and are slowly dying. I've bought fish at the Hadley PetSmart and those tanks are clean and there is always a compitent staff member, but I stood in the fish section at the Chicopee store today for 15 minutes and nobody approached me. After seeing the condition of the tanks I didn't intend to buy any fish, but it saw no staff tending to any of the animals being sold there. They should just sell supplies and not any live animals.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! At first the visits to pet smart were nice until you realize that the staff is terrible. I called the grooming office to double check a price for a bath, brush, nail trim, and blow dry, the “salon manager” was completely disrespectful when I told them that one of their employees had said a different price, then what she was telling me. Then I told her she laughed and said “well I’ve been working here for about more than 5 years.” I told her “okay then can you please make sure that the appointment is cancelled because I don’t know the groomers expecting me.” And then she said “ you don’t tell me what to do.”The audacity of these people is crazy. I also tried filling a report to the manager and he did absolutely nothing because they don’t care.

Every single time I shop here there's one cashier and a line that goes all the way back to at least aisle 5. I feel bad for your employee (almost put an S at the end, that would be silly to assume there's more than one) as well as the rest of the customers. What should take me under two mins at the store becomes a 10-15 minute process. Pretty silly. I'll go elsewhere from now on.

This review is for grooming service only. My dog's grooming service provided my Jaime was amazing! Got the $73 furminator package, and my dog walks like a ninja from the awesome nail trimming. I also paid for the essential addon and didn't realize my dog didn't get a bow or spritz of cologne as advertised so I wasn't sure if the other services that were included in the addon were rendered or not. Called the store and spoke with the grooming office manager, and she offered a refund for the addon. I am super satisfied and will definitely be taking my dogs here from now on and book a service with Jaime because my dog was very well taken care of. Also, if you want your dog's paw hair/fur trimmed, you have to let the technicians know ahead of time! It was my first time and I didn't know they don't trim unless you requested it upon drop-off because not every dog owner wants it trimmed during nail cutting. Definitely a 5-star experience for me, and I will recommend!

This review is only for grooming. I brought my dog in for the first time to this location for a bath & brush with furMinator shampoo, brushing, and for nail clip and grind. Drop off and pick up we're pretty easy. I looked at his nails, he has black ones so it would take time and patience. They were barely cut, they are jagged and sharp. I was extremely disappointed and discouraged. The person who did it was the manager and if that is how she treats a dog's nails on first try, second try isn't going to be any better. These groomers need more training if mail cutting; these groomers could learn a thing or to from the Cambridge, MA location.

I brought my cat for grooming and they requested the vaccination .I also completed the vaccination according to suggestion of the groomer .When we arrived there , they tried to do cat grooming next to a dog which caused a trauma to our cat .Our cat scared very much because of dog’s winning while his grooming.Later they informed that they can not finish the grooming because of our cat’s reaction during grooming.They should hire educated person/vet who does understand the cat grooming according to the cats’ behavior and nature.Our cat was literally traumatized to go out even for walking after the visit of the PetSmart grooming.Please be more sensitive about the nature of them.

I love going to petSmart for my fur babies! Most of their prices seem very reasonable. There were some items that didn't have prices posted on my last visit and I couldn't find a price checker anywhere 🤷‍♀️. Other than that, I love it.

Very bad experience, was told that they were able to groom my Himalayan cat to medium hair length. He also had hair clumps and groomer, Aisha, said she could cut them. But she stopped halfway, she said she couldn’t cut the hair clumps. Now his back is completely hairless and the bottom still has the thick layer of fur with the clumps. I would understand if she stopped when she realized that is was too difficult, but not halfway.

Very good! Gave me 25% off due to one worm missing.But other than the nice lady, there's never ever any worms for my Fancy Bearded Dragon! There's ALWAYS a problem...ALWAYS. Whether it be my 100 count worms are all dead except 3 so I have to drive all the way back there to show them. The Horn Worms are never right. One is always big, fat and ready to die! I learned my lesson a long time ago with feeding my lizard that, poor guy was so sick 😫. He doesn't have a cage and is the coolest Bearded Dragon ever! Yes, he knows where to poop and when. He uses the bathroom if I forget his tub. All I want are good worms at a good price that are alive and won't kill my lizard!

Got a few things i needed for our fish & hermit crab that ive managed to keep alive for 3yrs now! My gson brought home from the beach! As they usually die not to long after from my experience w my boys who used to bring home every summer when young! Until i finally read how & what to do w them so they would psbly live! Need a lot more than the little wire cage they sell them in @ the beaches! The poor things! Anyway! Was hoping they had a bigger selection on the creatures than they did! I was looking for a tortoise. Had 1there last yr. But none now. They had some fish, few birds, creepy crawlers, didnt even see any hamsters that my gdaughter wanted. So i just a little disappointed w that. Items were a little higher priced! But i suppose everything is now a days. A little inch sponge cost $7.00..& i was also looking for some shells for the crab. All they supply r painted shells. Which r not good for the crabs..& they were all tiny..idk why they paint the shells! Just bcuz their pretty color dosent mean their good for the crabs!! Pls stop painting your shells or buying them painted. Would like reg shells that they need to live w/o psbly killing them w the toxins! Would appreciate plain shells. In different sizes. As the crabs get bigger & u r a pet store!! Thank u!
