I have been a customer of Polkadog for years. We exclusively buy all treats and dog food here. The quality of their products is fantastic. I especially like the treats they make themselves (at their kitchen on the Boston Fish Pier). I either visit their Chestnut Hill location or buy online. When I order online they shop quickly!Highly recommend Polkadog — the ONLY place I will shop for our beloved dog ❤️

Associates were super helpful when I came in looking for cat-friendly treats to celebrate my girl's birthday! They went through every item at the self-scoop station and figured out which were dog-only and which were cat-and-dog. I was able to get a great assortment for really cheap, and I'll definitely be back to grab some treats for the pup.

Polkadog Bakery has an incredible selection of dog and cat treats, food, toys, leashes and harnesses and more. Order ahead curbside service is great and staff is very helpful.

I've been coming here for years, and while the merchandise is good, the people who work here are useless. The whole point of a brick and mortar pet store is that it's a place to bring your dog, and I am more than willing to pay a premium for that experience. Today. I walked in with my Lhasa Apso puppy, and we were virtually ignored by the two young ladies working in the store. No treats... no interest in the pup. I could have walked in with a brick on a leash. We struggled to find a harness that fit the pup, and we received absolutely no input from them whatsoever. It should be a place the pet wants to visit. Reluctantly, I did make a purchase, but it was essentially self-service. Today, we were totally ignored, and if that's the case, I'll take my business to Boston Barkery, where I've found the employees much more welcoming.

Lovely place for dog treats. But I ended up buying stuff for my cat.The staff isn't the friendliest compared to the US. Compared to the UK they rolled out the red carpet for me.I will return to buy stuff for the dog.

After dinner at Neptunes, we decided to check out the dog bakery. As we sat at our table during dinner. We noticed that every and I mean every dog (7) that walked in the parameter was drawn to the dog bakery. The storekeeper said, dogs from a mile away are drawn to the store.The store was so fun. My niece and I both grabbed a variety of treats for our dog. 5 locations throughout Massachusetts.Great great spot for dog lovers…

When I walked in, myself and my pug were immediately greeted by Annabelle! She was so nice and friendly! She offered to give my pug some snacks, onto which I told her he was kind of picky, but she knew just the thing to give him! I was shocked! They have a delectable assortment of dog treats in jars and I could tell she was really passionate about the animals that come into the shop. I will definitely be shopping here again. Annabelle rocks!!

Honestly not sure who loves Polkadog more: me or my dog! I love the adorable selection of toys and accessories and the healthy selection of treats and he loves that I can never leave without buying him toys and treats!Seriously though, the people at Polkadog are great. They actually care about your animal and are knowledgeable about the products they carry. When I told them what my dog did and didn’t like, they recommended a handful of things and then let him sniff around and choose exactly what he wanted.It’s a great place with people that care about your dog almost as much as you do!

Love the Polkadog Bakery! ! Moxie loves it there. The Clerks are so sweet with her. She always feels so welcome, me too. They are so friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help.The Polkadog Bakery offers some interesting, healthy treats for dogs and good, unique toys and other items for them too. Plus, it’s located in a very dog-friendly strip mall, The Street.

This “truly” is our very favorite “pet store!” We live in western Massachusetts, coming to Boston so I can get treatments at the extraordinary Dana Farber Institute & found this amazing store, completely by accident, while eating at the nearby “LEGAL SEAFOODS “( yummy!), I fortunately spotted this store. The name of this store( love it!!!) instantly intrigued me so I stopped by& instantly loved it. While staying at the nearby “HOMEWOOD SUITES” (fantastic hotel!)while undergoing operation at “Brigham Women’s Faulkner” ( best care ever & can’t say enough good things about care I received at both “Dana Farber Institute,Brigham Women’s Faulkner” & nearby “HOMEWOOD SUITES” Brookline-Chestnut Hill, is first time we spotted Polka Dot Dog.As already noted I was in “tough shape”, walked in & decided on huge bag of Oregin Dog food( my dogs “LORENZO & GRACIE” love it & so good fir them. The store clerk could not have been more helpful, directing me immediately to this brand plus pointing out snacks for my dogs that they might like! I ended up buying two stuffed lobsters & one crab for my dogs & two neighbors plus a whale, home baked sweet potato fries which my two dogs go crazy for, duck snacks for neighbor’s dogs & my own, plus all kinds of goodies for my dogs! I was not planning on buying anything when I went in but bought so much that I couldn’t carry at once but the store employee was phenomenal, offering to carry it to our car, parked close to Legsl Seafoods! On top of it, it was poured nx but this young woman said “No big deal” & said she was happy to carry the huge bag of Origen to my car plus so much else. Another clerk watched the store. Each time since I have gone into this store & without fail, I am greeted the moment I walk into this store! No matter if it is a young man or two different young ladies, without fail, I get the same extraordinary, caring help. Each time they offer to carry my dog food out to the car & instruct me on what would be the best items for my Shorky & BICHON Frisée! Every single person working here, without fail has been totally knowledgeable in what the store Carrie’s, what my dogs might like & where it is located in the store. Not once have I encountered an apathetic attitude, tried to duck helping me or a cursory attitude which I have encountered in unnamed pet stores in my area, “IF” you can even find anyone to help you! Polka dot Dogs shop without fail, never fails to charm me & keep me as a loyal customer, regardless of the distance from where I live for happily, I can order online! Their huge selection of dog food & dog treats is amazing plus they are attractively displayed at their Brookline shop on the wall, in baskets & great huge glass apothecary jars, lining the counter but as before mentioned their superb customer service is completely unmatched!!! I need to mention again that due to my operations & bad health, I wasn’t initially able to carry everything to car, but the employees suggested ( offered) immediately they would carry this to the car, even in the pouring rain! I told them I would have my husband move my car up to the door but they said “No, I will carry this to the car for you!” I was shocked at their customer service! Since then( I treat myself after treatments at Dana Farber to lunch or dinner at Legal Seafoods) we always, “ALWAYS” stop at “Polka Dot”dogs! They carry cat items too! Each time I return ( over two & a half yrs now!) I receive the same amazing caring help from this store’s employee! Even without treatments, we make a special trip to this store!! If you have any “fur babies” this is the shop you need to frequent! I guarantee all your questions will be answered & you will get the best customer care ever, plus the plethora of dog & cat offerings( natural & good for your pets) is phenomenal! I so love Polks Dot dogs! “Peace, Love & POLKA DOT!!!!”♥️

Great chews/bone selection for heavy chewers. Pricey but quality of products. Duck Kebabs(pictured) + Duck Twists (large or small) are loved by every dog.They have a pretty good rewards program so worth enrolling in.

Really good place to find a treat for your dog/cat. There is lots to choose from, going from hard chews, small treats, filled bones, etc. There are a lot of other pet related products there. And the people who work there are really nice, and even offer some samples. We let our dog sniff all the treat and picked ones that we think she's into. The price isn't necessarily cheap, but a lot of the treats were made by them, so there is more trust in that way.

Loved it! Pets allowed in store. Staff very knowledgeable & professional. Free samples for your pet. Great selection of healthy food items, treats, and clothing. They have partnered with a couple of other small businesses to bring in hand made toys and information for a wonderful pet photographer. Her work is displayed throughout store. If you have a four legged friend & live in the area, stop by and check it out!!!

The sales clerk at Polkadog was so helpful! My dog is a very picky chewer, and I stopped in spur of the moment without her when I saw this cute little shop. She talked me through so many different options, and I chose a selection of treats of various hardness. My pup ended up liking most of it, too! Super pleasant experience, and will definitely be back with our pup.

This was our first stop after picking up a rescue pup. We always have a lovely experience here and find a lot of great stuff. The things we bought here like leashes and jackets have all held up really well and our pup loves all the treats and chews they have.

I love Polka Dog Bakery. This is a great spot to visit if you want to get some delicious treats for your lovable dogs (and cats). The staff is friendly and I always love brining my dog in to pick out a special treat. I would definitely recommend trying this out.

This place is GREAT! I've been coming here since my Siberian husky (Miko) was 1yrs old and he is 4yrs old now. I just want to say that I appricate the employee's here, they make great helpful suggestions about dog food, treats & snacks for your type of dog. the staff is so friendly, outstanding customer service and its always a pleasure shopping here for my dog! Such a variety of stuff to choose from and the staff is so knowledgeable of your individual needs for your dog. I am always very happy to come to your establishment and give you my continued business.

Service is great! Purchased the Orijen freeze dried food for my Yorkie. Ordered it and came in promptly. Store manager called left message. I always buy all of my dog food from Polkadog. Great choices and I know that my dog is safe and I am doing the best I can for her!

This is a fun pet boutique located on The Street. Unique treats are sold by weight, scooped from large apothecary jars and placed in paper bags. Cute selection of specialty dog and cat foods, collars & leashes and super cute seasonal toys. My pup and I love to shop here!

the staff was very nice and helpful. The only knock that I have on here is how small the store front is. I have a larger dog #90, so I felt crowded there with him, especially when there's a few other dogs there. Good selection of treats/clothes.

Our golden retriever LOVES all of the treats that we have gotten from Polkadog. Whenever my mom comes from Washington DC she stocks up on the treats since she can’t get anything like them anywhere else. They are so fresh and our golden will do almost anything for them. He also really loves the freeze dried chicken breasts.

Polka Dog has a huge selection of various dog treats and supplies. I was able to get individual packets of sweet potato mix-in for dry food, which I haven't seen anywhere else. They have a large variety of snack and treat flavors, shapes, and chewiness and many are purchased by weight so you can get small amounts to try or large amounts of a favorite snack. The only reason the review is 4-star and not 5-star is the cost. Everything is great but too expensive for me to make this an exclusive destination for my 4-legged friends.

Location in The Street Mall at Chestnut Hill, easy to park and closer than South End or JP for me. The back of the parking lot opens to Webster Conservation area so we can walk and shop for treats in one stop. Great assortment of dog treats baked in South Boston. Also carries some premium kibble brands like Acana. My dog loves their chicken strips, beef and tripe nuggets, and a dehydrated turkey neck for a treat. I love knowing the ingredients are mostly human grade, all natural, never from china and that the company is local and treats people and animals well.
