The pharmacy in the back is slow, chaotic, unprofessional, very unlike other CVS outlets I went to. Arrived on time for a vaccination and was left waiting indefinitely – no information provided, no waiting area, no apologies. While waiting I had the time to observe the pharmacists, who somehow managed to appear busy (more like hectic) while also having a good time. After 15 minutes of them chatting and me waiting I decided that I will not let someone from this crew stick a needle in me. Be warned.

Pharmacy is awful. Spent the day in the hospital and had scripts called in, now 24 hours plus later I still do not have my scripts. No customer service, rude technicians.

I went to the local pharmacy today to get my next COVID-19 vaccine. I scheduled this appointment 2 days ago. I end up waiting 45 minutes after checking in. I kept witnessing customers go up to the pharmacy counter and ask if the pharmacy accepts walk-ins, only to be told no... they have to make an appointment. Yet, they couldn't honor my appointment time. Then 45 minutes after I came in, the pharmacist told me and other patients waiting for the vaccine that their fridge broke down, the vaccines had gone bad, and we all had to reschedule. She said it would have been unethical to vaccinate someone with the spoiled vaccine. I get that. I'm not an idiot. However making someone wait well passed their scheduled time, as opposed to telling them when they checked in is unethical too.

The new pharmacist there doesn't know what she is doing. One occasion, she did not know how to transfer script from another store. Another time, she kept telling me that the prescription has no refills but the doctor confirmed they already sent the prescription refill few days ago. Turns out, she does not know how to look up a prescription on hold. I will transfer all the prescriptions my parents have out of there.

Pharmacist Tram is amazing! She always helps me out and goes above and beyond for me! They are sometimes understaffed but they try with what they got and I appreciate that.

Slow, disorganized, and incompetent. The service has deteriorated and they seem to struggle to move people through the line. I have to wait almost every time. They don’t have a good organization system and the staff literally rummages through hundreds of out of order bags looking for prescriptions. They have terrible hours and when open they are beyond inefficient. My dermatologist called in a generic skin steroid (in stock) and i have been waiting in the store for almost an hour for them to find it and/or make me a new bag. Pathetic. Texts used to alert me when meds were ready, now they almost never send them or they take literally weeks to renew. not acceptableUpdate: I had to go back yesterday because my other doctor sent in another med. (I know, great) and this was on a friday morning. with no line, and the service was slow, but being the only customer it was not ridiculously slow. But what really disappointed and discouraged me was the women working up front (overweight black woman) was very rude to an elderly woman asking for help. The employee had no one in line at the pharmacy and when the woman walked up and asked for help finding a bandage for her injured leg, the employee said: “you need to ask someone up front “ this was said in a rude manner but in a kind of whisper and the poor elderly lady did not hear or did not understand and so the pharmacy employee just ignored her. Eventually the lady walked down an isle. I had a free minute so I helped the lady find the type of bandages she was looking for for her leg injury. Zero compassion and poor customer service.

Advise you not to go here if you need to pickup controlled medications or any medications that are important to your health.Whenever there's a situation that's outside the norm for my medication, I have to go back many times in order to be able to get my prescriptions. Not sure if its just them being understaffed or something else. Store part of cvs is fine, but please do not rely on this pharmacy for important prescriptions.

Words are insufficient to express my dissatisfaction with CVS Chestnut Hill. My Prescription Drug Carrier (Silver Scrips), my husband, and I spent over 1 HOUR, on hold, and to no avail, trying and trying and trying to get a pharmacist to answer the telephone line. The word ‘service’ should not even be mentioned in this review because this store has no concept of service responsiveness. A disaster of a storefront with no redeeming value!

They have continue water leaks, from the visible water stained ceiling tiles. Was in weeks ago and same tiles were water damaged, only this time one looks so water soaked it might cave down on someone and there are water marks coming down a metal pillar next to it. Seriously mold issues can occur with water damage like that and it's all feet from the pharmacy. I asked for store mgr, but apparently he just left. I will never step foot in here again, makes me feel ill, now I know why.

I have lived 5 minutes away from this CVS for 22 years and have never not been disappointed. The pharmacy is never quick or on top of it and the pharmacists are extremely slow and not understanding. I wish it was restructured but at this point, I don’t have belief that it can be.

I come here all the time but unfortunately today I had a bad experience with Jason this Asian guy with long hair never seen him before and hope to never see him again. He was helping out another customer who he was very polite but then all of a sudden he wanted to ask me questions about my transaction that had nothing to do with him in a very disrespectful and unprofessional manner. Management should definitely talk to this man because he shouldn't be talking to certain customers in that manner the problem starts with people like him.

The pharmacy staff are all very courteous and professional. However I feel quite bad for them as they are frequently understaffed leading to stressed out employees and customers. I hope the pharmacy management group at CVS can find a way to properly support this location.

Rude and unhelpful!Once they screamed at me , middle age woman that you didn’t pick up your prescription yesterday. I never went back but my doctor send my prep medication by mistake there and it was requested for delivery for last week and I never received it. They are saying you will receive the medication after the procedure!!!They are not helpful at all!

This place is literally 2 minutes away from my house. So you would say wow very convenient actually is it but the service at the Pharmacy is so disgusting. The people working there are just straight rude the attitude is unacceptable. The pharmacy Corporation needs to get replacements ASAP especially on the people taking the prescriptions in the front.

The pharmacist was dropping their shades. I asked for them to just hand me a box of zyrtec. He said "we are closed for 1/2 hour for lunch. come back at 2". It was 1:26PM. This is the dirtiest CVS I have ever been in. Shame on CVS for not taking care of your property.

This review pertains to the pharmacy only, not the other areas of the store.It’s unfortunate that one star is the lowest this rating system can go because zero is a justifiable rating for this pharmacy operation. It’s not the individuals because they’re kind and hardworking, but the pharmacy appears to be drastically understaffed. When told a prescription will be ready tomorrow at 1pm, and on the day at 4pm it’s not ready and will be 20 minutes that’s sometimes understandable. At 630pm when told it’s still not ready and will be 15 minutes that’s suspect. This wasn’t the first time, and hence the desire for a zero star rating.

I waited on line for 40 minutes only to be told they were out of stock and it was closing time. The most inefficient store I have ever walked into…. Time to get membership at Walgreens. I suggest you do the same

Terrible customer service, employees are over worked, not enough employees to service the long line of customers. I called to make an appt for a flu shot for an elderly person, I was told to go on line. I went online. 1195 Boylston not showing to schedule flu shot. You need to hire help, get new management. Elderly people need your help. They should not be told to go online. HELPPPP

No self checkout, walked up to the checkout counter with no one in the store and the employee at the register was just sitting on his phone scrolling/texting. I was waiting for him to call me forward but I just walked up and put my items on the counter and he didn’t say anything... rang me up and gave me my receipt and whispered have a nice day.. what a joke. Also they didn’t have the one facewash I wanted so that didn’t help. Avoid

Clueless!A published schedule! It’s literally published that the open the pharmacy at 8am. I confirmed at the store the night before and online.At the store they had no idea if the schedule and the only a week was “we don’t deal with the pharmacy and they are always late anyway” following by “on days like this one they might just open at 9”.I’m just wondering what’s different in a business day in the middle of the week that they can’t publish it to avoid having the client waste time!Absurd!

The manager called Cristina and the woman who is in charge of the prescription"drop off" section are very very rude to the patients. I couldn't imagine that I had to go through such a hard time to deal with them in order to get the "right" medication. They yelled at me and didn't listen to what I said. Living in Chestnut Hill for more than10 years, It's my first time encountering such horrible experience in the store. These two women are incredibly awful.. I felt scared and couldn't believe what i heard at the time while dealing with their fury manner. I've asked my physician to change my pharmacy store to Walgreen. No more CVS in my life!!For such presumptuous and arrogant people like these two women will never be blessed by god!!

I really like going here and it’s honestly one of the more reliable locations near me but honestly their employees have become so rude to customers when they have a question or will snap at you for coming in before they close. Not cool!
