I go to this market quite often and I must say that their veggie and fruit section is on point. The pineapple is very tasty sweet. The store is neat aisle stocked. However, checkout isn't the best, no cashiers. You have to go to self checkout, which isn't a problem for me, but some people don't like to use self checkout. They have a great rewards program, but at times, you aren't prompted to enter your number. That's a problem because that's how you get your rewards, and I personally like deals.i would give 5 stars but they watch you like a hawk at self checkout like you stealing but I can't be mad at that because it does go down and they are just doing there job,but I can write a review about it. Overall neat store, and they are opening a Starbucks. That will be 2 in the hood. Let's see how that goes.

I needed to load money onto my card at the customer service desk today and the system was giving us a great deal of trouble. I was already very upset by this as I was trying to get to work and it was taking a great deal of time. Though I did not get the desired result Ian worked with me every step of the way and did everything in his power to rectify the situation. Again though I wasn’t able to do what I came to do he provided me with exemplary customer service and that’s all one can really ask for. So shout out to Ian for going above and beyond. We need more Ians in this line of work.

Such a very convenient market for all dietary needs. The large variety of vegetables and fruit. Its own bakery from town provided. Easy to find anything around the store by talking with customer service or employees around the store. The only small thing I dislike was the parking lot is so very small it isn't enough room for the larger vehicles.

I love shopping here from flowers to grocery ,sushi,cold salad and fried chicken it’s very organized and clean and the staff was very good .

Customer service is always great! Teddy in the La Carte department had the whole store smelling so DELICIOUS 😋... Fried or baked chicken both are top notch on the go... can't forget the potato wedges, best around since KFC!

I have worked for this store since May of this year and I have busted my ***** at this store . I'm always at work at 5 am and punch in at 5:45. They just let me go without pay for who knows how long and it was only because I get tired and have a disability and my medicine makes me tired. I also have sleep problems. So the front end manager Juan is a very rude and lazy manager. Plus he tells the staff there that I'm under the influence and it's none of his business period!!!!. They don't appreciate my hard work ethic at work . I haven't even gotten a thank u or any acknowledgement for great work except Mitch in the meat department so thank you Mitch much Love.

After seeing a disgustingly moldy loaf of bread here yesterday I see today that the loaf I bought for myself is also moldy!! For how expensive everything is you’d think the staff would check the dates. Gross

Everything but one thing they didn't have. But I found something unlike what I was looking for. There's no archway cookies at all at this location. The cat food is more. The catch is if you buy 20 you save. I bought my cat 20 can and oreo loves shredded cat food. Got my bananas 🍌 😋 for my tasty smoothie I make. I was pleased with my purchases.

The visit today was similar to previous visits. I cannot remember the last time I shopped at this location. They still stock shelves with bread with mice holes, but the fruits and vegetable area was appealing; check your products. They might consider getting an exterminator.

Have been a client for years, both at their Brookline and at their Dorchester locations.Prices may not be the cheapest around (Still way better than Whole Foods), but their deals and electronic coupons are GREAT. And if something with the coupons doesn't work, their staff always make sure to solve the issue.Yes, some staff may be friendlier than other, but who hasn't had a tough long day?In the end, they deserve the 5 stars.

I was very disturbed to see broken egg yolks which looked like it had been there for days. Generally, I do not post things of uncleanliness but a year ago I found expired product on the shelf. Buyer be aware.

How often do you write about the best Market that’s been so special over the years? Mitch, in the meat dept is such an outstanding Butcher - his care and attention are unequaled! On Valentines Day Mitch assembled the most wonderful beef tenderloin that was trimmed and tied. It made a spectacular meal ! Same with Bob in the fish market - special attention to detail and always gives me the very best. Hats off to Star Market and 5 Stars to Mitch and Bob!! (and the meat and fish departments!)

I ordered $56 worth of crabs which might of been tainted with something I might of gotten sick from.I will be open minded yet the lobster tank needs to be updated/or cleaned & specials on seafood. I spent over $60,and had very little to show for it I now moved to Brockton. I won't ever go there for anything sales or no sales!!!!!

My girlfriend and I love going to this Star Market. Wide variety of food and plants to buy. They have things that most places don't carry. This is our go to spot. Employees are nice and helpful.

I would've given them a 5 star, but those older cashiers who should know better, need some customer service training. They spend tooo much time talking to each instead of taking care of the customers. Otherwise I like the variety of groceries they have to offer. Prices are kind of high too!

Terrible service. No help stole from me buy taking my money never delivered the full order the manager hung up on me. They close at 11:00pm I called at 9:40pm they said they had the order but they could not bring it to me to me tonight. When I placed the order at 6:15 And I only got 6 items and they were drinks

All the employees are rude. They act like they are doing the customers a favor. News flash without the customers you won't have a job. One employee in the seafood area, was so rude and mean, I had to call the manager to get my fish. I will definitely find another place to shop never going back there although it's five minutes from my house. Everytime I go in there my blood pressure hits the ceiling.

I find Star Market to be pretty good. I will never use their Starbucks. They are much more expensive than any other in the area.Shopping at a certain time will give you more access to their butcher and whole cooked chickens. I tend to shop too early for it. But I find the Deli counter to extremely helpful. The cashiers very pleasant. It is a pretty pleasant experience.

Little crowd but Big prices. Good assortment of all types of food though. Parking can be a hassle but who cares about parking. Folks only care about food prices n quality foods. They have both!
