My dog is a little skittish, but Kaylee was able to handle her without any issues. I’ve been going there for about 5 years. I like how they do the grooming out front so you can see what’s going on. They are all so kind and you can see how they genuinely love the dogs. They also have the dogs looking so beautiful when they’re finished. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a groomer.

I've brought my (now) 15-yo dog to Alpha Dogs for grooming for almost two years and they're hands-down one of the best groomers we've ever been to. The desk staff is always super kind, in person and on the phone. The groomers never miss spots that other places have been prone to. I never used to plan ahead to ensure appointments at a certain business and now I do. Truly the best in the biz.

I brought my 2 year old GSD to Alpha today and they were incredible!! The staff was warm and friendly, made my guy feel comfortable and I could tell they truly cared about his comfort and mine! Igor can be a bit skittish around other dogs but had a wonderful morning with the crew. They even commended his breeding and told me he was nothing but polite and friendly. He is a new dog, the de-shed got his undercoat under control and now I have a shiny new pup. Also love that he was completely dry when I picked him up, other groomers have left him damp and that causes matting and more shedding. We will be back!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Alpha dog! My super anxious pup, Stan is somehow able to relax with the friendly and warm team of groomers. He always comes home looking refreshed and knot free! I sometimes call to check on him mid appointment and they’re always happy to give an update on how he’s doing. Special shout out to Alex who always gives Stan some extra attention and makes him feel extra comfortable during the process.

So I usually never write reviews but because I love my dog just as much as YOU love YOUR dog, I strongly suggest that you don’t go to this place to get your dog groomed. I’ve been to Alpha Dogs at least 4 times (trying to be optimistic about each visit) with my puppy and every time he’s left there with a ton of scratches on his body. The side of his right eye, his armpits, his groin area, his private area… it seems as if the groomers just don’t care for the dogs that goes in there. If you truly love and care about your dog you will not bring them to this horrible place. Not only do they mistreat the dogs, but they’re also very rude and unprofessional. After they gave my dog a terrible haircut (shaved his whole face and left him bald) they made jokes about it when I went to pick him up. I left a before and after picture for reference to my review… Truly disappointed with my service at this place… NEVER again.

They did such a great job! My dog was a fuzzy mess and they really cleaned him up and made it look good. It is an even trim even though he is only 7 mo old and still a little nervous at the groomers. The people there were so friendly. I did not hesitate to make another appointment.

My cute dog went in for a trim. I like to put her hair up in a ponytail. I told them specifically not to cut her hair. She was not matted at all. I gave them pictures and explained specifically how I wanted her trimmed. She came out of looking like a cat with mutton chops.. worse grooming ever!

I Went In For The Essentials with my pup the first time...hair. eyes. paws..... The Staff are fun, full of love and supportive energy. Alpha dog was our last resort when three other groomers were booked. I called on a Friday and was set for my appointment the next day, right when they opened. Alpha’s groomers took great care of my boy; he came home looking sharp and smelling great! We will be visiting more as this location is closer than the other groomers. Roughly the same price as others but I love the environment and that it’s smaller. I just wish they trimmed more of the fur on his paws and brushed his teeth; since I paid for the service.• Great customer service and professionalism.• Hard to find parking• Smaller location

Absolutely no one would cut my 1 year old Siberians nails, not my Vet, not 3 other grooming companies. I decided to try my Nephews new shop Alpha Dog that recently opened, I can not tell you how thrilled I am. Jamie one of their groomers did it in less than 5 minutes, kudos to both Jamie’s! My cat is happy, he can climb on top of me again, he’s a cuddles. Anyone that has a stubborn feisty cat when it comes to grooming & nail clipping, give Alpha Dog a try, you will not be dissatisfied. BEST is an understatement for Alex.He is the ONLY one I can trust with my Winston who comes with many issues.I sometimes cry when I drop off Winston because I know it takes Alex time to groom him.Winston was a rescue and abused before I got him. Winston does NOT like to be touched by strangers let alone be groomed.We had to bring Winston to the Vet to do a mercy cut many a few times, and I hated that I had to sedate him on order to get shaved (not groomed).Until I met Alex.Alex is as calm as you can get. His smile always puts me in peace knowing Winston is in good hands.If you have an aggressive dog and looking for someone who will take great care of your dog, PLEASE see Alex!!

I’m surprised to see all the 1 star reviews here. And all from 2 months ago?!!! We took our standard poodle to Alpha Dogs for grooming today for the 1st time as someone we met at the dog park highly recommended this place. We’re very satisfied by the haircut our boy got. The owner was very friendly and patient. He spent extra time even after their store closing to make sure everything get done right. We’d definitely come back!

I came across Alpha Dogs when Phoebe, my Great Dane was in desperate need of a bath, etc. and the grooming places I had heard of before were booked out for months!! Alpha Dogs not only was able to get Phoebe in within a few days of me calling, but they are extremely flexible and accommodating. Needless to say, I am so happy that Alpha Dogs had an open slot for Phoebe because now I am a repeat customer. The entire staff is extremely friendly and you can tell that they genuinely have a passion for what they do and care for the dogs like they would their own. Phoebe came back smelling nice, no more shedding, nails nicely trimmed, and most importantly, happy. Unlike vet appointments, Phoebe is not scared when I drop her off (and she's a pretty skiddish dog) - highly recommend Alpha Dogs!!!!!

We just came from our first visit with our Gracie. Alex spent lots of time with her, and he showed us all the little tricks that he uses to make a dog comfortable -- also what he does to avoid accidental nicks, so that we can groom her ourselves in between visits without hurting her. Very pleased with the results and with Alex's care for Gracie!

I recently just got my dog groomed and we had a terrible experience. First of all, when I went to pick up my dog, not only did they give him a ton of scratches all over his body (including his private area, both of his armpits, the side of his eye, and his mouth…) but they also charged me way more than what they usually charge because they said he was fidgety. This is not the first time he’s had scratches but this time was just the worst. And they didn’t even offer us cream or anything to take care of it, they just raised the price and gave my dog back. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had and I needed to publicly share this because no one’s dog deserves the type of treatment that my dog got with this past visit.

I preface this review by saying that I never post reviews online, however, Alpha Dog warranted it!I recently moved to the area and have an 8 year old dog. She had been seeing the same groomer for quite awhile and I was certainly on edge about having someone else groom her especially because she has a lot of anxiety. From the time that we arrived, the environment was so warm, welcoming and I automatically felt comfortable! Alex took the time to discuss with me about what I wanted done (my dog has some distinct features that I don't like to get cut) and offered some great suggestions too.When I picked my dog up 4 hours later, she looked absolutely amazing!! It truly was an even better grooming than what we used to get. Additionally, the price was extremely reasonable for a grooming salon.I am so glad to have found Alpha dog and I look forward to taking my pup back in a few months to get groomed again by Alex and his team!

I have taken our staffordshire terrior here 3 times and will continue to take her here. Since she isn't very dog friendly, the staff takes care to give her space from other dogs. She comes back smelling and feeling so soft! Always a cute bandana and some of the best nail trims! The cost for the bath / groom without a haircut is about $60. Love that we can walk to/from this neighborhood place.
