Our Brittany Spaniel is extremely nervous around new people/dogs so we were probably as nervous as she was when we brought her to get groomed. They did an incredible job handling her for her first grooming since we adopted her.Would definitely recommend Shiny Coats even if you have an anxious/nervous dog. She looked great!

Buyer be ware. This salon will take advantage of you if they can. So I hope this review will serve you well. I have a dog, not even 10 pounds and I've been taking him to salons to get his hair cut and nails trimmed. He's a golden doodle, so trims are required quite often. And finding a salon that that can trim hair and still make the dog look cute is hard to find, surprisingly. Shiny coats does do a good job at cutting hair and trimming nails, I'll give them that, however, they will take every dollar out of you that they can. How many times have I heard them say to me that my dog is matted?? A lot. But the way they tell you if a dog is matted or not is by taking a very fine tooth comb and brush it through the hair. I use a regular brush, not a comb. Anyway - So I paid the $125 to have my dogs hair cut, but made sure to keep up with brushing him after that with a different finer brush. So, next time I expected the normal $90 charge - but again, was texted an hour into his appointment that he was matted so my bill would be more again. I questioned them this time in disbelief. I contacted my mom immediately. My mom, who helps me with the dog, and has had tiny dogs her whole life, and curly ones, was outraged by their comment and told me that there were absolutely no mats on Finn. She called them to have a conversation on the phone with them. Not sure how that went. But, when we went to go pick up my dog, I confronted them, and the owner asked me if I was calling her a liar. Excuse me? That's how she reacts to my concerns? And when confronted with that, in this case yes she is a liar. So just sending a warning out. And never mind the last cut, they left a weird bump on his head - which I pointed out, and they did nothing to correct it. So done with Shiny Coats.

Ive been looking for a new grooming place moving back to Massachusetts, and this place did an amazing job!!! Ceasar has been getting so many compliments all day. I definitely recommend shiny coats for your dogs grooming services☺️

They did an amazing job on my 14 year oldMini Poodle. It was his first time there and he hasn’t looked this good in a while. We’d been bringing him to NH since Covid and he had his hip dislocated at another groomer in MA, so he’s very nervous. They were very patient with him. I’ll be going back,

This place is AMAZING. I have a yorkipoo mix of something and a Siberian husky. My husky doesn’t appreciate being groomed and they took him anyway and got him accustomed. The entire staff is so kind and gentle and even for nervous dogs they take such good care. I am CONSTANTLY recommending and sending my friends here. I haven’t been in almost a year but am due for both my pups to go back & can’t wait. They have always been incredible and I always am super happy and so are my clean and sweet pups.

Shiny Coats Pet Grooming is definitely 5 stars! My dog is definitely high maintenance and has major anxiety and they know exactly how to handle him. They are kind, caring and professional at all times. My dog was recently sprayed by a skunk and they helped by getting him in for an unexpected appointment. I sure did appreciate that!!

Best groomer on this earth is Shiny Coats’ Jill! She took care of my 4 y/o dog with such expert hands and care. All the dogs seem to love her, and she tries her best to make every experience as good as the dogs will let it be! I’ll never go to another groomer for my pup!
