We have been shopping here for over 20 yrs but lately, everything has gone up, not 50c or $1 but $3 increases. My other concern is that everytime I go through the checkout, items ring up a higher price than what is written on the shelf. I have to watch diligently to catch the mistakes and then they have to check and readjust. But mainly, I am so very disappointed in the drastic jump in prices of all items. I know prices are going up everywhere, but the increases here are so high, so much so, I think it's company price gouging. I'm just disappointed in Market Basket.

Market Basket has everything you need for your daily groceries and more. The prices are very competitive and the staff is friendly, helpful and pleasant. You can tell the management appreciates their employees as it shows in their pride of their company.The depth of their stock, especially in groceries, has increased in the past few months. I find very interesting things to purchase that I haven't seen in a while or ever. It shows that the Market Basket, product buyers and administrators are doing their best to keep prices low and creativity in their supplies for us shoppers.There are certain things that this store does that only makes it more endearing to all of us who frequent it. For instance, this holiday season with Thanksgiving and Christmas, items in are stock for the holidays like flower, sugar, cranberry sauce are on sale and come with low prices for all our needs of this time of the year.

The other morning I was getting ready for work and nothing sounded good for lunch. I called the Chelmsford Market Basket and asked when they started taking lunch orders (08:30, just so you know). I was a little bummed because I wouldn’t be able to leave work but Nicole did me a solid. She told me that she would make the sandwich. It’s something little but that made my day. 💖

I had a case of food poisoning from one of their hot foods, a rotisserie chicken. Fortunately, I was able to recover in 2 days after frequent bathroom visits, puking out all the contaminated chicken, lost of sleep, learning to stay hydrated and taking activated charcoal (online doctors' advice). That's the fortunate side of this story.The unfortunate side is upon returning to Market Basket to inform the mgr about this, I was met by an 'acting' assistant mgr Tina with 6 yrs service (I believe), who was callous, unsympathetic and visually annoyed that I had brought this up to her attention. I showed her the chicken and explained to her what happened. She didn't seem to have any care or concerns about food being contaminated and tossed the chicken back my way onto the bag that I brought it in withIt wasn't until, after I was getting my refund back from the clerk and told her that I got food poisoning that the young lady gasp in response saying "You got food poisoning" with a tone of serious concern, that Tina decided to change her judgemental attitude to being some what apologetic (too late, too little Tina).I do not recommend any customer talking with Tina on delicate and serious issues. She does not care how you are doing and makes you feel like you are an annoyance to her time.

The employees at the market basket are an incredible example of human kindness and honesty! I left my handbag(full of money and credit cards) and was amazed to find it at the costumer service desk . I was touched my Ethan who bought in handbag from the cart. Big thank you to Ethan ! I hope management is able to give this young man some kind of reward or recognition for his amazing actions tonight. I can’t thank you enough Ethan 🙌🏻

My son apply at this location and called 3 times for his application status, always ger the same answer, 'we haven't go through all application yet' a month pass by and you haven't check the application, why have the sign hiring all positions? Who ever is the hiring manager here? Be truthful and stop lying. Be a real human being unless you like being a scum bag.

Very well run store. Clean. In-stock. Well kept. Extensive variety and selection. Well trained, efficient and friendly associates. Always busy but always a great shopping experience. Wish we had this in our town. Consistently excellent!

Clean, well-stocked, nice staff, good prepared food section. Only complaint is that it is always busy... Parking lot is full, aisles are full. They are good about opening new registers so it keeps the check out lines reasonable.

The only place I shop either at Towne Plaza or Wilmington store. Always find what I need and if unable to locate an item on my list , employees are always willing to help.

This is my go-to Market Basket. I like the layout of the store and how it is clean and well-stocked. They have delicious fresh rotisserie chickens, and the cakes from their bakery are amazing! I also like the variety of indoor plants that are always available. I look at them every time I visit. I do wish that they had self-checkout, because the baggers often bag items in ways that don't make any sense. For example, I have found canned and jarred goods on top of fragile produce like bananas, apples, tomatoes, and lettuce, and I have also found cold items bagged with hot rotisserie chicken. I have also seen them place frosted bakery items in the bag sideways which makes the items slide in the containers and messes up the frosting. I still like shopping here and can usually find whatever I am looking for. Most of the employees are friendly when spoken to, but Jeff and Karen have both been super friendly and pleasant. Keep up the good work!

I just got out of the 12 items or less Lane and not only the cashier but also the bagger did not say one word to me except the amount due. I told them to have a nice day yet they still did not say anything. This is not the market basket culture I grew up with.

Great selection, except for packaged fruits and vegetables, then again maybe they restock on Monday. Good prices, great sales. Great choice of prepared meals as well.

Went here especially for the hot foods. Female worker clearly didn't understood me. I ask for a pound of items she'd give me way less. Asked for half a pound and she gave me more, even the customers behind me were confused.

Just finished shopping at this location and the checkout person is TERRIBLE. He scanning slow cause he's looking around to find his friends to talk to. Not paying attention and almost squished my bread before I intercepted it. Finished scanning and handed me my receipt and didn't even attempt to help the bagger. Just holding up the line for no reason. Lane 8 kid with a mask and brown hair with a first year name tag.

The kitchen meals are amazing. I love them for lunch through the majority of the week. There is a great variety when it comes to just what you can get. When you know what you want to get and execute the plan then it is a satisfactory experience.

This particular Market Basket is my personal go-to Market Basket. This store is always very neat and clean. Their shelves are always stocked ( with the exception of shopping on a Monday, occasionally they run out of something that I typically buy, but they have it stocked again asap) and with the exception of any items that are hatd to come by anywhere at the moment due to suply chain issues. The employees are always extremely courteous, kind, and helpful and I can honestly say that after shopping at this particular Market Basket on a weekly basis for over 10 years, I have never had a bad shopping experience!If your looking to shop when it's less crowded, I have found that it's best to go early morning when they first open.

Like all of the newer Market Baskets, this is well laid out, has a great selection and the prices are great. I hate buying nice cheese anyplace else, except maybe Trader Joe's, since the prices are so much higher. Its a pretty significant difference in prices across the board.
