Always went to Ronnie’s in Auburn because that’s where I live but with it being close, we ventured out to Charlton. I don’t know about anybody else, but I thought the food was better. The restaurant was so nice the employees were sweet and right there to help you I would strongly recommend that you go to Charlton and visit Ronnie’s in Charlton.

The fried scallops were sweet and piping hot, and everything else, including fried shrimp, clam fritters,were fantastic, onion rings, and curly fries were very good! The total price included 2 medium diet sodas for $95.!! I know that in this fine economy seafood seems to be one of those things taking a hit, but, seeing that people are still making an effort to go out and do things traditional, maybe, a thought, I heard that if you purchase a large drink, that you get a refill for free, and not so on medium drinks, maybe lower the price on soda, and give a refill for free? The crew there were smiling and pleasant, and when my wife went up to get a refill on her medium diet soda,( for free), the workers did so, then told her, that only the large wa s refillable!! We will continue this tradition, and my wife also got a chocolate chip ice cream on the way out!!Parking: Plenty of parking,Kid-friendliness: Kids were inside the restaurant starting their tradition!!Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility,

This place has the best fried scallops. My wife and I share a haddock & fries and a small scallop, just enough. We love this place.6/9/2022 This is an update to the previous review. This place is run by two brothers (I think) they are the only cook that I seen fry the seafood and they do a great job. We always order fry haddock & fries and scallops. Today we added the fried whole clams, they were the best. Keep up great cooking..Parking: Ample parking

My husband and little ones took me here this past Mother's Day. We ordered the scallops, a clam roll, and hotdogs and fries for the kids. The scallops were mouthwatering, and the clams were tender and had a lot of flavor. I love seafood, but get turned off when I come across sand in my food, no worries about that here! We loved it so much, a week later, hubby went and got some food to go, to enjoy at home. Needless to say, we are always happy with our experience here.Parking: A ton of parking.Kid-friendliness: They have a relaxed/family environment.

We decided to try Ronnie's Seafood as it was only about 30 minutes from our new home. Upon driving up on Sunday afternoon. Parking was plentiful and inside was clean. Was greeted promptly by the girl at counter who quickly asked what we would like to order. We ordered 2 whole clam and scallop plates and 2 sodas. Each plate was $19.99. We got our food in a timely fashion. The scallop portion was small(3 1/2) to each plate, with a handful of clams. Usual amount of fries, coleslaw(was minced and too much slaw dressing..bleh)and a roll. Overall it was just ok. Wasn't a huge fan of their batter. Left you with a flour aftertaste. We probably will not be back. But glad we tried as finding good fish places is harder than you think in this area. Especially when you were raised next to the ocean. Customer service was however fantastic!!

Where to even start!! I spent $109 for such a paltry amount of food it might feed a 13 year old. I ordered a BOTTLED water with my nephew's kids meal only to get a cup of tap water (If i dont drink tap water, my nephew sure isnt going to), the fries in the seafood platter dinner was overcooked and by the time i got home, they were all soggy, there was no coleslaw given with the platter dinner, my nephew was disgusted with his fries, the cheeseburger was pathetic, nothing but a thin burger, cheese and a bun, and the hot dog was so small my dog could eat it in one bite.IN SHORT, FOR SEAFOOD VENTURES, GO TO CLAM BOX. THE PRICE IS BETTER, THE FOOD IS BETTER QUALITY, AND IT IS WELL WORTH THE TRIP OUT THERE

the food was great!! the seafood was super fresh and their ice cream is amazing. we stopped to avoid traffic on our way to boston. the workers were super kind and even gave us directions to get there faster. Overall amazing food and service!! Will be stopping on our way back.

Not happy ordered a very expensive lobster roll to get cold lobster...I prefer it warm and it didn't mention on the menu if it was a warm or cold roll...so I ask to have it heated up..they couldn't so I ask of it can be exchanged for something of equal or lesser value...I get a huge no...will never ever return to this place again..what happen to the customer is always right motto? I'm a paying customer

2022 -- Back to the area to see family, and had two meals at Ronnie's in Charlton in three days. Best Haddock, best service, and decades of consistency. They should get six stars. Thanks again!2021 -- I've said so before, and am sure I'll say it again -- this place has the best food, a great crew, and is always a stop for dinner when I am in the area. Thanks for years of consistent great food and quality service. You folks are the best!

This is a great place for some seafood and burgers. I had the clam strips and they were delicious. They also have a great selection of ice cream, hard and soft for a treat afterwards. I brought the whole family and we enjoyed!!!

I've gotten food here a number of times since my first review. The burgers and curly fries have always been excellent!--------------------I was really unimpressed with the burger I had here. I was expecting much more as the place is very popular, but the burger was mediocre at best. The person who took our order was very nice, but their order taking system is really weird. They write your order on a white board and the put it in the register so it takes a lot longer than it should.
