Kind of puzzled by the flavors…Tried a bunch of them in the last couple of months and I have to say I’m not exactly impressed.Caramel is my favorite BECAUSE it lightly tastes caramely. All the others we tried… well, honestly hard to recognize them. The ambiance is really nice, love the old style vibes and you can tell the crew works hard.Pro tip: if you need to share, a pint is $6 vs 1 scoop that is $5.5… you do the math and get a pint.

This is my family's must-stop before heading home every visit to our house in the Cape. I've never, in my whole 34 years of existence, have had a bad ice cream from here. Never. And we go quite a few times a year. Makes me almost glad I'm not near it all the time! Almost 😊My favorite order is an "Almond Joy Sundae": coconut flavored ice cream (with plenty of ACTUAL coconut pieces), homemade hot fudge, and slivered almonds. Pretty much perfection. Peach is a close second, though. All the flavors are homemade, and come packed in half pints for shoving into an empty frozen veggie bag to hide from having to share in the convenience of your own home!I only wish it was in a bigger building. This place gets PACKED during the summer months! But there is usually plenty of parking, an an atm, for your convenience.Seriously. Go try this place already! 😋🍦

A classic Cape ice cream shop near Craigville Beach. Always a great stop after a day at the beach. Great flavors and some cool history inside.

It is a family ice cream shop, neglected for my taste. However, they have a good assortment of delicious artisanal ice cream, the bad thing is that there is no place to sit outside.

Located within a summertime shack that once served as both a garage and a blacksmith shop, the venerable Four Seas holds the distinction of being the third oldest ice cream shop in New England. Although there are plenty of swiveling stools along the counter, working your way through the crowd of densely packed patrons may prove difficult. Four Seas certainly wins the award for efficiency, however, with a small army of friendly and knowledgeable scoopers ready to take on the steady stream of ice cream orders coming their way.

Ice cream was tasty! Loved that they just ladled on the hot fudge and made a lake of it on top.

The service was awful. 5 of the 7 ice creams were completely melted or mostly. The server acknowledged this when giving them to us but did suggest fixing it, they just gave us spoons. We were charged for 7 standard sized sundaes but was given 7 “diet” sized. Asked about the size but were given an answer that left all of us more confused than we started. We were told they ran out of whipped cream but people who came in after we received our ice cream received whipped cream so clearly that wasn’t true. Heck our server even spilled part of one of the sundaes on one of us. It was a very unpleasant experience and not somewhere we plan to go back to

Excellent local establishment with a wide variety of seasonal offerings. Flavors available in scoops, pints, and quarts. Some lunch items available as well. If you are on the Cape, you need to stop by at least once!

Four Seas is a must visit when I'm on the Cape. Since I was a kid visiting with my grandmother I've loved this place. Wonderful coffee ice cream (my gram's favorite)! There is often a crowd, they only take cash, and as a grown up getting melted ice cream all over your leg in the summer heat sucks; but none of that matters when a delicious ice cream cone takes you back to your childhood! Highly recommended!

Went in on a Saturday at 4:30. Only a group of kids in front of us and they were all standing at the stools. Our first time here so we stand in front of the stools. No one helped us or directed us to where we needed to go. A line of people came in and went to the right of the door and got helped immediately. We ended up leaving without trying the ice cream. Recommend better signage or better trained staff. They were all engaged in a conversation about Taylor Swift buying ice cream 10 years ago.

I’ve been here in the past and hadn’t remembered it being this poor. Service was bad and ice cream was pretty flavorless. Ordered chocolate chip cookie dough and there was no cookie dough. Got new ice cream, same issue. No apologies and had the gall to ask for a tip. Ice cream melted extremely fast as well. Also got ice cream that had chunks of ice in it as well. You guys also let people bring pets in as well. Not really that sanitary. Even if this place is 50+ years old that doesn’t make up for everything else.

Somethings changed because the icecream is quite underwhelming. Doesnt taste homemade at all and the worst part is that the price is high and servings are only a single scoop.Only good quality was the service. Like most places on the Cape, a TOURIST TRAP.

I've been going to Four Seas since I was a kid and I don't even live on the Cape! I had the pleasure of introducing my girlfriend to this magical place this past weekend and she was blown away by not only the atmosphere, but also the service and the product! She's an ice cream aficionado so I was wondering what she'd say, but she fell in love with it. Black Raspberry frappe with Coffee syrup is my go to!

Four seas is by far the best homemade ice you will ever try. People come from all over to eat their ice cream. They used to be open seasonally but now I believe they are open year round but off season only one day a week so get it now and expect a long line if u go in the evening but very much worth the wait. The only ice cream parlor with decor from the 50's this iconic establishment will serve ice cream like you never had before. So when you go there and order fresh Cantaloupe just remember who recommended it when you look to thank me 😉. This place will forever be in my heart as the after dinner family get together.

Absolutely delicious ice cream, and they even have non-dairy options daily! We like to buy in quarts and enjoy Four Seas for the rest of our stay.

Best ice cream around, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like most ice creams. Everything made in house, without the artificial fillers. The owners have done a great job keeping this place in its best shape, from generations past, to future.

“A bad day with ice cream is better than a good day without ice cream.”~Someone wise, possibly a dentist. That said, I’ve never been disappointed by any of our awesome local ice cream parlours. Today we got to have a few servings from Four Seas Ice Cream while our kids watched the winter wonderland display being set up by Douglas Warren. Always a great time here, and we look forward to our next visit!

Just needed to share what a great ice cream place this is.Let me first start off with the experience. Coming up to the counter we were greeted by very friendly staff (dont forget to tip the servers, they deserve every penny). The wait was a bit long after dinner hours but that just goes to show its popular with locals and visitors. Now the ice cream itself is more or less perfect. Now we arent talking about the store bought "ice cream". I got the cookies and cream and it was creamy and sweet. Perfect ice cream temperature. Next year i hope to try their fresh peach flavor!

I was on the Olde Cape Cod FaceBook page and Four Seas came up… I commented…“OMG! The go-to place on the Cape for ice cream since I was little in the late ‘50s! Blueberry was the best!!”I haven’t been down the Cape on a while but when I checked your website, Blueberry was not on your list of ice cream flavors. Others on FaceBook agreed that Blueberry was their favorite. When did it go away? Why? Will it ever come back? Everyone in my family agreed that blueberry was the best!

This ice cream was DELICIOUS. It was so smooth and creamy. It beats Blue Bell, Breyer's or any of the other big names without a question. We had the chocolate chip cookie dough and there was a good mix of cookie dough to ice cream. The prices were reasonable. Maybe the best deal is the five scoops for a little under $8. The staff was friendly. Too bad there is only this one location!

Mint chip for the win. A nice pink peppermint flavor with the crunch of chocolate chips; can’t go wrong. Some other fun flavors to try as well such as frozen pudding.

Disgusting- we stopped for their tiny $3.75 ice cream cups yesterday. ch ch, peach, cookies and cream flavors. They were so awful we threw them away. They should refund every transaction $ on those old, icy tasteless cups. Dear owner; please stay closed if you’re not ready to open for the season…

Delicious, creamy ice cream. I had the strawberry in a cone. It tasted so fresh, delicately sweet, and was so refreshing. My husband had the ice cream sandwich and said it was the best he'd ever had. Everyone in my group enjoyed their choices. The line looked long outside, but it went really quick. I would definitely recommend and go again.

What happened? After enjoying this ice cream for 50 years this past week my family and I had two bad experiences. Tuesday night went for cones of coconut, usually a family favorite and also tried the peach and the chocolate. All were flavorless. Went back on Friday to buy quarts for my nephews birthday of mocha chip and coconut and again no flavor. It was the first time there was leftovers. Did the ownership change? Very disappointed ☹️

Been reading about this place and it said it was a hit back then so I had to try it. First off when you go to this place, the parking lot and building is on a slant soBe ready to feel uncomfortable . The menu is so hard to read on the inside and you’re on top of other peopleWaiting in line as there is no organization. Floors were dirty, napkins and straws everywhere and what’s really most disgusting is that it smells literally like rotten spoiled milk/butter in this place . Now the ice cream, banana was very good! Amazing quality and texture and kept at the right temperature. However reading further reviews about their ice cream being soupy , I can definitely agree on this. Either there condensers in their dipping cabinets need free on or the owner is too lazy to find the issue here . Overall my experience is a one star. I suggest the owner really taking a close look into everything from managing staff correctly to have a clean store and serving a delicious consistent product every singleTime.

There are many, many places that one could go for ice cream on Cape Cod during the summer. Most of these are good, some are great, but there is only one Four Seas.Great ice cream, excellent flavor selection. Definitely worthwhile as a destination ice cream spot.

I had one scoop each of peppermint and butter crunch for $11. Service was good. The place has a great vibe. The cream in the ice cream was delicious.I had to take away a star because I got only one little crunch in my butter crunch and almost no peppermint pieces in the other scoop. Each bite just waiting for some texture. A little disappointing…hopefully a fluke.

The line to get ice cream was long, but it moved surprisingly quickly. The servers were very friendly and accommodating of our group. Delicious.

Creative ice cream flavors and delicious ice cream, however extremely disorganized. Once inside, I was the first of 5 to order, and was asked about 5 times what my two flavors were. By the time all the other members of my party had ordered, I still was being asked what my flavors were. Our party paid and then I finally got my ice cream and we were asked if we paid (again) - said yes. They only charged us $24 for 5 ice creams. I think someone did the math wrong. I wanted a hat, but after the service we received, I no longer wanted one. The history of this place is cool but not worth the headache of ordering
