Found this restaurant on here, read the reviews, and just went for it. Food was fabulous I had steak tips, as did my friend, and my wife had the pan seared scallops w/ risotto. Best steak tips I ever had, wife loved the scallops, steak tips were PERFECTLY seasoned. The ceasars salad was worth the extra $1.50, and I had the chicken and rice soup, my friend had the clam chowder and loved it. Highly recommend eating here, waitress was great, food came out in reasonably good time. Prices are average for the Cape, steak tips were 24 dollars , scallops were 26 dollars, we spent $100.00 not including tip. This restaurant is in the top 5 places we ate in Cape Cod since I can remember coming here for over 20 yrs. Didn't get 5 stars because no place is perfect, this place is almost perfect.

I stopped by this wonderful restaurant while away on business. Many locals recommended it and I can see why. They had some great seafood. I started things off with a stuffed quahog. The stuffing had a plentiful amount of meat as opposed to too much stuffing which other restaurants try to trick you with. For my dinner, I ate their popular pan seared scallops ALTHOUGH I was offered to get them blackened which is not listed on the menu. It was amazing. The blackened seasoning added this scrumptious crust without taking away the integrity of the scallop. I also fell in love with the risotto which had artichoke hearts within.

Cool atmosphere and plenty of space for large groups to sit in or outside. I was pleased the menu featured gluten free pizza crusts so I had the Supreme pizza and was disappointed. The tomatoes and mushrooms taste straight from a can. The sausage was dry, cold and bland. It came out after about 10-15 minutes. It definitely didn't have the "brick oven" taste. We also ordered the short ribs. The portion size was great but the salt was a bit overwhelming and overpowering. Pricey meal for two that was just mediocre.

These owners need to take the bathroom situation into serious consideration. We’re really disappointed that the one owner walked by a long line of girls and basically laughed at how long their line was. Girls having to subject themselves to horrible insults as they use the one stall in the mens room… because some girls may have rather braved popping a squat in the parking lot over dealing with the crowds. The lack of giving a cr@p and ponying up the grand or two for a bunch of porta potties definitely cost the owners a lot of money. The bartenders were all having to battle crowds of annoyed guests, another let down by ownership. It’s great when businesses and their employees can have a successful night, but nothing says I don’t give two $hits about my staff or guests than walking through a crowded room smoking a cigar, carrying makers mark and a case of beer to an air conditioned room, while guests and employees alike are trying to make the best if this chaotic environment the owners could have managed. Nobody wants your excuses, it’s always been known that this place gets packed for the holiday. 10 porta potties would have made such a difference. One or two beer baths would have taken additional stress of of your overworked bartenders. I never once saw the owners jump behind the bar to help, which is just another example of how they let people down. But hey, probably grossed a lot of money! I don’t think I’ve left more than 2 bad reviews since leaving google reviews, but I’ll happily leave a bad review for this place. The employees and band were awesome. Ownership should be fined and shut down!!!

Great selection of food, huge servings & friendly service. Always crowded so make reservations ahead. Cozy fireplace in dining room, fountain with fire pit outside w/ pizza ovens.

Ok, we didn't have any expectations going in, especially since the ratings weren't the best but honestly the mean was great. My wife got a coahog, it was really hot and tasty. I had a salad, the balsamic dressing should be served in a drinking glass because I could drink it by the gallon. Seriously, bottle and sell that stuff!! I had the steak tips, fantastic; wife and daughter got the Haddock, hot and good; other daughter got chicken parm, perfect portion and was very good. Great meal, all the way around, we will go back.

Great relaxed atmosphere, limited menu for the price; wait staff younger/not seasoned.

Popular spot, you'll likely have to wait for a seat. Don't expect too much out of the food, mid to low gastropub. Mixed drinks off the main menu are subpar. The seating area has some real potential, but it is underutilized and the tables are not clean. This establishment has untapped character. I had really high hopes for the pizza, was disappointed. The kids meals were fine.

It was pretty active on the weekend of the 4th. Food was pretty good and the service was also good. Dined outside and was an enjoyable experience. Only downside was the noise but that can be remedied by dinning inside.Food: cajon meatloaf with mashed potatoes.Overall it was flavorful and covered in gravy. It looked nice and was plentiful for the price.

I am unsure why people like this place. Very disappointed. Anyone with allergies should avoid as staff has no clue what is in anything and literally has to go to the kitchen to ask about every dish one by one. Owners need to empower staff with options for people with allergies. After the poor server going back to the kitchen several time to inquire about dairy in food, they finally said they could do pan seared scallops without dairy and cooked them so they were like rubber. So I had rubbery scallops and broccoli for a $29. Will not return.

I was with a party of 8 (mixed races) and went there today at 4:45. The restaurant was mostly empty, maybe 1/3rd full but the young waitstaff at the door was hesitant to sit us. First we asked to sit outside, there were plenty of seats, but they said they had reservations which already claimed all those seats. We then asked if we could sit inside and they were again hesitant. They then agreed to put us in a weird place with lowered ceilings which she referred to as "the penalty box". We tried sitting there. It was very hot with no circulation. There were many other less cramped tables that would fit us near ceiling fans but they didn't want to let us sit there with no explanation why. We felt unwelcome. We spoke to the manager. She was apologetic but we decided to leave regardless.

My worst restaurant experience. 30 minutes to be waited on, complimentary bread was still not defrosted fully, the waitresses were all on their phones while we waited the half hour. High school boys were running around the restaurant through the side door near where we were seated while security started to check IDs. One kid was barefoot running around the restaurant floor and they were all hiding in the dark. We asked to be moved outside to get away and these kids ran through the courtyard and laid on benches toward the side. The high school waitresses and hostess (blonde) hung out and talked to them while not doing their jobs even more and we sat with no one checking if we wanted refills or anything. Those kids never bought drinks or food but maybe the waitstaff just missed them too despite slacking off there. I do not recommend this place to anyone and in the past its been great. Now its terrible. Mcdonald’s has better service. Food wise was good.

Pretty good bar and restaurant in the upper cape. Business looked like it was going gang busters on a recent weekend night. They’ve carefully and cleverly reimagined Bar top seating, and I felt perfectly safe going there. They provide both digital and paper menus. I had the Cajun blackened meatloaf which I would happily have again. Great list of beer and specialty cocktails as well

It’s a nice place to hang out. Expect lots of people and for most of them to be drinking heavily!!Bartenders in both bars were great and helped us out in a decent amount of time considering the amount of people.

I have historically loved this place and would have given it 5 stars. My last trip their I had talked this place up to friends about how great the food and especially drinks were here. The food was great as always but the drinks were awful. Not sure if it was a new bartender but I hope this isn't a new trend. The other off putting part was the hostess. She was kind of rude and dismissive of my group. Not whatI have grown to expect from this establishment.

My husband got the Cobb salad & I the Chef both were equally delicious. Fresh ice cold beer, clean taps.. Waitress was exceptional for she was handing bar & servicing booths.

Great ambiance. It's the quintessential Cape Cod feel indoors and they have a great outdoor dining and bar set up with fire put and water fountain outside. Friendly service. The food is average but great place for hanging with friends and family.
