The outside seating is lovely, where you get to watch the sunset. Considering how crowded it was, the service was really excellent. The food was good, tasty, and well prepared, but I was disappointed with the menu selection. It was a bit pedestrian, very "average", and I expected more creativity in the menu. It was classic New England seafood... Scallops drowned in butter with breadcrumbs, stuffed shrimp, assorted fish that was baked or broiled, crab cakes, lobster. Nothing you couldn't get anywhere else... Except for the gorgeous sunset, of course :-)

Great outside seating. Showed up at about 1pm on a nice day. Parking lot was just about full and a 20min wait for a table. Got seated after about 10min wait. Bloody Mary was strong/good. Noshed on apps. Perfect afternoon destination. Wait staff was great.

Beautiful location on the harbor, cool breeze blowing in from the water and awesome piano player setting the ambiance.Our server was very sweet but was in the weeds and struggled to manage our two tables of five. Drinks came out sporadically and an entree was forgotten so everyone ate at different times. No kids menu which only meant lots of leftover food and a higher than necessary bill.We had a few apps (Fish tacos were delicious with a little kick, chowder was very sweet-not a fan favorite for our chowder connoisseurs, Caesar salad was good, steamers were great, shrimp were good but were lukewarm) and then as the entrees rolled out we were unimpressed.Halibut special was dry and sitting in a pesto soup. We had to ask for the starch for two entrees which were forgotten and the summer vegetable on the side was turnip...pretty sure mashed turnip is a winter vegetable. Swordfish was bland, baked stuffed shrimp was heavy and greasy. Sirloin steak was under cooked (we know how to order steak so don't worry) and the baked lobster was good (when it finally came out).We ordered dessert and Ice cream for the kids which was good (cheesecake and Brownie a la mode are a must have) but overall, for the price, the food has GOT to be better and the server needs more support.We wanted this to become a favorite destination but we won't be back especially when we can get much better food for half the price!

Decent food but they were out of a couple of dishes. The haddock was cooked perfectly. The Caesar salad was salmon was good too. Definitely get the chowder and mudslides! Mussels were okay.

I'm not a seafood person so I go with the turkey BLT or the pastrami, and both are delicious. Best mudslides EVER, and the piano players are tons of fun! My husband loved the fish tacos and shrimp cocktail. The nicest servers, too! People giving them bad ratings have never worked in food service and don't know how to relax and have a good time.

The food was really good .. mudslides even better! This was a great place to stop, got some good food and an amazing view of the sunset. We got seafood and both the lobster and scallops were fresh and tasty.

I heard the food was not good. Boy was that information wrong! We were six and everyone liked their meals. The chowder, the steamers and the crab salad sandwich were highlights. To say nothing of their mudslides which have been legendary for years. The view is nice, the parking is easy. The service was okay. All in all, put it on the list when in town, I'd say.

Delicious and fresh seafood including steamers and a lobster salad to die for! Definitely call ahead and make reservations - we were able to get a great table in the outside dining area with a gorgeous view only 20 minutes beforehand. Friendly and attentive service too!

Service was nice and friendly. Atmosphere inside was good. Food was tasty. I had the fish tacos. BUT why doesn't this place have an air fryer? Especially when you order a lobstah roll? For chips it was Ruffles? Really?! What happened to not having Cape Cod chips? I mean we are on Cape Cod. I would come back here but with reservations and make sure to sit outside (it was warm and partly sunny). Parking is a b****. We got lucky after circling around for 5 minutes with traffic.

Great lightly dressed lobster salad on Portuguese bread 🍞 . Chart Room cup of chowder was thick and flavorful.We got a lawn table for walk-up (first come, first served), but do make reservations for inside and other outside tables. On the water nestled next to Kingman’s Marina. Its officially fall so Sundays they close at 6:00pm. They are always busy, which speaks volumes! Always a great time!

They have done a great job with social distancing set up. I ate outside with friends on a Sunday night at 4:30 pm in Late September so you be the judge, Delicious cocktail, swordfish with anchovy butter (you can leave it off), great fresh vegies and baked potato, Yum.

The waitress was really nice.The food was not so good.Clams casino were good. Lobster roll big portion bust tasted frozen and fishy. Worst lobster roll ever. Burger was a frozen cheap patty and gross.Fish tacos were okThe view is pretty, definitely over rated here and over priced, would never come back

The Chart Room is Olde Cape Cod that has an amazing view of the sunsets. It can be very crowded and the wait long for a table but they offer reservations that solves that if you plan. The food is pretty consistently good and enjoyable. You have to go at least once!

Went here for a conference dinner. The place was slammed, and staff displayed the chaos through their service. Our waitress was quite rude and obviously overwhelmed, which is understandable to a degree. I probably wouldn't come here again during the summertime.. The food was very good. Pretty view outside.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly.

We have always enjoyed The Chart Room for many many years. Unfortunately our experience last night was disappointing as far as the food was concerned. Our group ordered the swordfish and fish tacos and found them extremely DRY and lacking flavor. For the cost of the dinner we found this unacceptable. As far as the service and atmosphere, it was on par from previous years. Obviously The Chart Room has given up on the food end. They are prioritizing profit over food quality. Our next visit will be for cocktail hour only.

Had clam chowder and an amazing lobster salad sandwich. Couldn't eat more than half. Beer selection was okay not great if you like hazy ipas.Wheelchair accessibility: Can't say I was in a wheelchair but was in an aircast and cane. Not very easily accessible to use restroom.
