I went shopping at Shaw's the other day. I had not been there in over ten years. I've usually shopped at whole foods, thinking I'll get the best products. Plenty of organic food here! Organic produce that I can pay less here than at Whole Foods!Well, I was very impressed with Shaw's. They have made this supermarket into a really beautiful and easy shopping experience.I grew up here, when Shaw's wasn't even here yet. I saw Shaw's move in and evolve over the years. Now it's really nice! You can buy organic and GMO in just about any food category. Plenty of nice organic produce! Plenty of regular produce are cheaper prices!Update: I really love Shaw's, however, today I was buying beef liver and there were two packs left. I picked up one pack and my hands were dripping with blood!I stood there wondering how I would get all this blood off. I realized that the packaging was really done poorly and that is raw and next to other fresh meats. Very bad and unsafe! Luckily there was a sanitizer stand next to me.

Kind of surprised by the outstanding reviews here and at least one comparison to Whole Foods. This place is "good enough." I do like the vegetarian packaged food options. Otherwise, the produce selection is basic, though the grapes and strawberries etc. never seem as fresh. The pharmacist who gave my wife her vaccination was reported as not having the gentlest bedside manner. Many of the checkout line workers are high schoolers.

I asked the staff person if they had more of a product outback and he said he would go check for me and he never came back. I saw him later on and I said I have been waiting to hear back from you and he said oh Sorry.Yeah we don't care yet.

Was visiting Canton, MA and needed fresh fruit salad. Found what I needed and felt in general, the store was well stocked.This store is on border of a couple of smaller towns. I only see Shaw's Grocery store in MA.

In this location, if you have tattoos, not dressed like you just came out of J.Crew, and go up and down every aisle; they will suspect you of stealing.I did my bi-weekly food shopping which consisted of me going up and down every aisle, because I was going to buy a lot. I'm in sales so I understand certain announcements via the intercom. I heard 3 announcements requesting communications and I didn't put mind to it. I get to the self checkout and all eyes were on me. I even saw one of the managers walk past me while i was scanning my stuff. Over a $150 later, I paid with my credit card. And guess what? My payment went through because I'm an Executive for an important Tech company making over 6 figures.Sorry I didn't dress the part of your expectations of people who don't steal. Stop being so judgmental because I make more than the manager by 10 folds. I'm not here to degrade anyone as I've got degraded but I'm pointing out simple facts.To make it worse, as I'm walking out, a customer wanted to exit the same time as me. I said to that customer "excuse me." I was not talking to the employee that was manning the self checkout, but he had a wise remark of "you're excused." Little boy, I will date your mother and make you my step son and torture you day to day. So dont try me. Don't be rude to people for no reason.This store is pathetic and it started with their pathetic leaders. If you're not a Caucasian that is dressed to their standards, be prepared to endure some kind of prejudice.Shaw's, do better.

One of the best shaws around and they actually have a self checkout which allows for a speedier check out. The people here are so nice and patient, willing to go out of their way to help you as a customer. I enjoy stores or supermarkets like this. The food here is also fresh and tasty. Everything from the fresh cooked chicken wings to the rotisserie chicken to the pizza and the bakery, you cant help but applaud the management of this place... kudos!

Daughter went shopping. Since I can’t get around, she spent 7.99 on fried chicken from Signature Cafe which was terrible. There were 8 pieces, breads, thighs, drums and wings which were har as rocks, only thing edible was coleslaw she bought. Potato salad was terrible. Would never buy this again.

WATCH OUT IN THE CHECK OUTThey always ring up the price incorrectly and you need to pay every attention when they ring your items.Today I bought a dark chocolate it said 4/$5 on the shelf and the cashier ring 2.99 . I know it would probably happen and toke a picture of the price label on the shelf. I showed her the correct price. After her supervisor verify it is correct, she only took off .49. I politely told her the sale price should be $1.25 each and she should take off $1.75 instead. She said she would only take off .49 without any explanation ?????She asked me to talk to the customer services desk. What kind of customer services is it? Why can't she just took off 1.75 there? She apologized to the customer behind me for holding up the line but not me. If the price is ring correctly, it will not have this happened. They are wasting the customer time. I will never shop there again and people should watch out in the check out.

Good 3 day sales, however the only downfall is that you need to upload the app to clip coupons. It doesn't automatically fall under your phone number when entered.

Love Shaws This location has helpful and friendly staff from the departments to the checkout. Shaws has good prices and good special markdowns when you catch it right.

1) workers here appear to be very unhappy and take it out on shoppers. Instead of a baseline level of politeness, the workers are often right hostile to shoppers - which is uncalled for even if the shopper is obnoxious which I assume occurs all the time2) food is not fresh and is of low quality. The meat section is filled with below prime meats and is often close to rotting3) the selection is horrible for all foods4) the produce section is at best average for a few items and at worse picked over and left with near rotting level produce5) you can drive ten extra minutes and go to Big Y or Price Right in stoughton if you’re on a budget6) Walmart up the street in Walpole has much better selections and better produce. And there, the workers are not hostile towards you.7) parking is a nightmare here and cars always come close to hitting people and kids as they walk past each row of parking. It’s very cramped8) go somewhere else

Fair but small organic selection. Prices tend to lean higher than say Market Basket or Wegman's.To Shaw's Owner:There are no concerns with the store itself. I shop there regularly because it is convenient due to location. I consciously pay for the convenience and I also post truth.

Shaws is good prices a little higher than the competition. Employees fantastic. Their giving out thin half paper bag not durable. You may want to consider double bagging. They told me their working on their bags. If you use reusable bags that would be great.

I love shaws and starmarket they have very good food precook food fresh meat and fresh veggies and cup of fruit and veggies easy cheap and tasty. Nice bakery cheap better than market basket. Some things are pricey but will worth it.you can also buy take and bake pizza ten minutes and taste very good. Check it today

This location is so organized, all stocked up with a large variety of brands to choose from & their seasonal items are always right on time! Cant forget about the allstars over in this Osco's pharmacy.. i called 23 seperate pharmacies looking for any store with the medication I need daily; I went from feeling so discouraged, to totally ecstatic & relieved when Canton osco's said they'd be happy to help! This shaws is also in a perfect location- surrounded by a variety of buisnesses for everyday needs, Shaws is right smack on the middle! Definitely stop on in there!

I pick up my money orders here for rent every month and asked just last month when the service desk closed, being told at the time it was 8pm. Showed up today at 6:30pm and it was closed. No explanation, I just can't pay my rent on time now. Customer service desk? No, it's the customer no-service desk.

I usually have good experience but the cashier was not in a good mood for some reason. She was slamming my groceries when she was placing them in the cart and dropped my veggies on the floor carelessly. When I told her to be careful you dropping my stuff. She act like she didn't hear me, I understand people can be hard a a bad morning but that was not professional of her at all. I'm pretty sure I'll see her again next time I go shopping, and if she does that again. I won't be so understanding and will talk to her manager. I just moved to the area and this is my local grocery store but I wouldn't mind traveling further somewhere else if this place is hiring people who do not enjoy their job.

I do not like the new layout. So disappointed that they got rid of the 4 half aisles for the organic /gluten free products. Now I have to go through the whole store when though I would not buy anything else. And I am fed up with baggers who do not know how to bag properly. Bananas at the bottom. Items are just put on bags that should not go together. I bring my own bags and rather bag myself for this reason. However the response I get is not good. Just train the baggers and I would use them. So now I am deciding to go to Wegmans. A little further away but better choices and they still have the separate aisles for gluten free

What’s happening here?Left my watermelons in my cart as usual as typically I just need to tell the cashier how many I have. This particular cashier asked me to hold the watermelon up from the cart so he could scan. I don’t appreciate the experience and neither the distancing.There have been multiple times no bagging service provided as well. And I see employees just stand there without offering help.We’ve been shopping here many years but feel the declining service quality recent years. Do train your employees and hold up the good service!!

This store is failing to catch up with customer demands in terms of using digital technology efficiently to improve checkout experience. For instance, the automatic checkout machines even though it’s supposed to be “automatic” never works without the aid of associate coming to scan his/her badge so a customer can continue scanning other products and complete the transaction. I’ve had instances where it happened multiple times during the same transaction. I’ve been grocery shopping all my life and never had this issue using the ACO machines in other stores. Upon, raising the concerns about the broken ACO machines, all the way up to the store Director/Manager(Barry) I was told they are aware of this issue and there is nothing they can do about it. If this is the kind of response I am getting from a store director, i am worried about what other things they are cutting corners inside the store to just keep it running at the cost of compromising customer experience. It’s about time to re-think how to use technology properly inside the store otherwise customers will end up shopping elsewhere because someone in leadership position thinks it’s not necessary.

Shaw's provides my family with everything we could ask for. Fresh produce, excellent deli service, a well run bakery, great deals (definitely get the app for even more savings), plenty of staffing on the registers to get us out of the store faster, and their cashiers are friendly and knowledgeable.I used to be a long time Stop & Shop customer and just gave up on that store brand - convenience store pricing and variety with a breathtakingly shortage of qualified friendly staff.Shaws is everything that Stop and Shop is not. This location in particular is managed with excellence across the board, and I just can't find the variety of goods we need for our multicultural kitchen at the prices that Shaw's offers. My 5 star review is given without reservation.

My review is 0 but I will give a 1, they don't deserve it the way I was treated. I have disability so I had to use the scooter to get around the store. I had to get something from the deli.I excused my self and drove over to get a number, and I waited as the rest of the customers for my number to be called. Well when it was my turn I was announced as the WOMAN IN THE SCOOTER!I told him I had a number like everyone else and he should have called my number. I put in my deli order and by my surprise when he was done my order was thrown to me. I have never in my life been treated so badly. After reporting it to the manager, I felt like I had to plead with him to speak with his Worker. Bottom line I feel nothing was done. I hope no one whether in a wheelchair or not be treated that way. 😤😡😭

I spend about $5k per year at stop and shop but the few times I've gone to shaws I was closely watched at the self checkout. I won't be going to Shaws anymore.
