I’ve been doing a large home remodeling project in town on my family home. Been going to this ACE for decades since I’ve lived here. Spent so much money here instead of going to big orange.Well today I went and purchased about $50 worth of supplies. I asked for 10 paint stirrer sticks. Was met with a hard NO told they don’t give them out for free maybe if you get paint you get a couple. I asked if I could pay for them but still no. So much for being a neighborhood hardware store. Now I gotta drive to Home Depot but I know they will understand and help me. Sucks I won’t be coming back here though.

Small enough to get in and out quickly, but big enough to have nearly everything you might need for DIY jobs. Don't have large wood, plywood or sheets.

I was in the store early this spring and got a good buy on a patio umbrella. The service was great. An older gent went out of his way to go into back to get the right one for me. Great service!Last Saturday I purchased the last Duracell 6 V 28A battery for my camera (I'm a photographer). These batteries are hard to find. So at check out I asked the cashier to please order more. He said he would see to it.I went in today, hoping that the store ordered more, but it wasn't on the battery stand. I proceeded to look for help and a gentleman said that it maybe on the truck today, but to go ask the cashier because he was busy at the time. I went to the front of the empty store and the cashier called someone named "Joe" who said he was tied up right now! So in an empty store at 10:30 am everyone was too busy to help me???I just left the store feeling like I need to be spending my money somewhere else... I ordered the battery on Amazon and it'll be here tomorrow...#ihatepoorcustomerservice

Love this place. They have everything I need from plant stuff, having keys made, paint and supplies, plastic storage containers, household items and so much more! Great neighborhood hardware supply store. Employees are always so helpful too, especially the woman behind the counter!

Fantastic selection of fasteners (nuts, bolts, etc.). Need a grade 8 bolt, hex cap head bolt, single metric bolt, weird bracket to hold the screen in a storm door, then this is your store. Most run of the mill hardware store items are cheaper at the big box stores. If you want to get in and out quickly or want something specific Rocky's is great. They carry the Stihl brand as well.

As a Home Repair Business Owner, I am always finding these places due to my job requirements. I stopped here to purchase toilet parts for my customer and glad I did. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Greeting each customer who enters the business. They are eager to assist with your purchases. The store is clean and neat and well maintained. Good leadership proves it pays off. Great experience and I am sure you will feel the same. Give them a try!

The store is clean and has a pretty good selection but the staff is incredibly unhelpful. I also have been going there for SodaStream cartridge swaps for years, out of convenience, and they still can't never seem to know how to ring it up. Managers move incredibly slowly and checkout can often be a slow process with only one register open and other staff members looking at the line but not stepping in. Baffling.

As a store, this place is great. I was able to find the exact weird flanged nuts I needed while fixing my girlfriend's battery terminal connectors. I expected to have to pick something close enough, but they had the exact ones I needed.Only knocked a star off because this parking lot is a nightmare.

I have been here several times and never find them to be overly helpful . When you need a unique item they aren’t helpful . They send you to the aisle but I always have to seek them out again. Today I called and they left me on hold for 5 minutes . I hung up and called back , I told the man I had waited on hold , it did not matter . He put me on hold again . At that point I wrote this review . There is a Ace is Harwich ,that is fabulous . The staff is helpful , polite and knowledgeable . This shop should learn from them

I went to this store to buy a snow shovel, at the last minute of course .They had a good variety of shovels to choose from at pretty fair prices. They also had a good sale price on suet cakes that we feed the birds around our yard. The cashier was helpful and courteous.

This has been the worst experience in purchasing a chain saw!!! First one I got from this store had a defective carburetor. I brought the saw back to the store And they replaced the carburetor ( 5 days later ) during the process of fixing the carburetor the technician missed the fact that the saw will not start. And gave me the saw and said all set. Get home 20 miles away and find out the saw will not start so I bring it back and they say they drained it and replaced gas and runs fine but agin in actuality the saw still won’t run so I am going back for a third time for this brand new saw so great store

Don't get me wrong. This place has a pretty good selection of items you'd expect at a medium sized hardware store. Customer service was practically nonexistent - as far as I could tell it seemed they only had one employee and he was at the register. The other, bigger issue if the prices. While a couple items were reasonably priced, the vast majority were majorly overpriced. Similar or even more than you'd pay in downtown Boston or Cambridge. A little too steep of a mark-up for Cobbs Corner, if you ask me. But if you've got a home emergency (leaking water pipes or something like that), this store will probably have what you need and if you live nearby it will probably be worth it.

I prefer to shop at the smaller shops when I can because they often have what you need for without having to walk through enormous aisles. This place has never let me down in that respect and I enjoy shopping here.

There is one lady, and one guy whit a buzz cut and glasses that know what they are doing. If I dont see them right away i leave. I have mostly stopped going because the web site will say they have something, and there isn't even a spot on the shelf for it. If Im to be frustrated and not helped ill stick with a box store. its a shame they used to be great.

They sell THE GROMMET catalog items! I find this AWESOME! Browse thru a GROMMET site and look at the interesting and USEFUL gifts and items.Store is well organized, clean, stocked, STAFF IS FRIENDLY!I love this store!

Everytime I have a problem the box stores can't fix, Rocky's fixed it. This time it was key making serviced. I am shopping here first next time and avoiding the big box store dissaointment. Thanks to the guy who made my keys yesterday.

I've always found the staff to be quite patient and helpful. They are conveniently located in Cobb Corner for locals. They have a surprisingly good selection for a smaller hardware store. They sell paint here as well.

Just left Rockys. They have a “Manager’s Special” of 20 lb bags of MOLDY birdseed. When I told the manager that mold kills birds, she smirked and shrugged her shoulders. Didn’t say a word. I called corporate and I sure hope that display is gone when I go back. How disgusting and dangerous for our wildlife!

The store carries a good selection of hardware and the salespeople are usually very knowledgeable and helpful. The web site is good at letting you know what is in stock and also let's one ship to this store. Very convenient.

Rocky's is one of the few general hardware store left. They have always been helpful when you go in with a hardware need and they are pretty well stocked. Sale ite.s are quite easy to find.

Selling moldy bird seed at a discount price SMH. That is just wrong. They couldn't care less about possibly killing hundreds of birds. Take your business elsewhere.
