I moved from out of state and it’s been so hard to find a groomer for my Pomeranian. The first one didn’t do so great and the second place let the dogs run around free while they groomed other dogs and my dog was attacked. She came home with scratches by her eye and on her head. Also they cut her belly while grooming. When I picked her up she was scared and anxious and I never went back. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to find Dog Gone Gorgeous. They were able to accommodate me on short notice, and they keep the dogs in kennels. They’re very organized, the place is clean, it smells so good when you walk in, the staff is friendly and professional and best of all, they treated my pomeranian like their own. Her haircut was GORGEOUS. She came out happy and energetic, and without any cuts or scrapes. Needless to say I will only be going here from now on, 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! If you want the very best for your fur baby, bring them here!’

We love this place! I have an 11 year old blind, diabetic dog and wouldn't trust anyone else with her. They are very gentle, professional, and reasonably priced. They offer many different grooming services. Debbie takes care of our girl Lucy and always does a wonderful job! I highly recommend them.

DO NOT BRING YOUR POMERANIAN HERE.They were great with getting me in but when I arrived to drop off my Pomeranian. We talked over what I was looking for, I mentioned that I just wanted a trim about a inch off and even showed and pointed out how short I wanted it to be (my pom had at least 3.5-4inches of hair) as I loved her fluffy and specifically said I DO NOT want her shaved at all. Please just trim her face area as well. they then told me it was a 3-4 hours which I didn’t expect as a first time pup owner. Before I left my pup with them I asked if she worked with poms before and she said yes, I left with confidence that she will come out beautiful. When I saw my pup after 4 hours, I almost started crying because all of her beautiful hair I maintain on a daily basis was all gone to about a inch left.I think the girl noticed that I kept looking at my pups hair and said oh yeah, I used the longest trimmer and this is what it came out as. I was so upset that I didn’t know what to say at that point and I paid and left. I can only hope she didn’t ruin my dogs undercoat or do this to another pom ever again.

I brought my extremely anxious 7.5 year old Siberian husky here, who previously had a bad experience elsewhere with grooming. He looked great at the end, and they handled him well. My only regret is not knowing the tipping rate since it’s been several years. Will make up for it in the future since we’ll be going back!

Dog Gone Gorgeous, is a really nice and friendly place. I brought my Lahsa there and we were greeted by really polite staff. My dog, was a bit uncomfortable, as some are, However, he met Debbie and he fell in love! When I turned to leave, he was already interested in being there. She was so nice to him, that when I picked him up, and he looked beautiful, he almost didn't want to leave her! She really did a very thorough and professional grooming on, JoJo. I highly recommend this Dog Gone Gorgeous, to all dog owners! The store was very clean, and the prices are very fair.Thank you, Debbie, and we'll see you very soon!!!

Dog Gone Gorgeous is a great place !The shoppe is clean, and the staff are welcoming. They were very good with my dog.I watched how he reacted with them, and vice-versa upon arrival, and it was reassuring tosee their handling of the animals. The costs were all explained and very reasonable.The staff listened to my concerns stemming from other groomer experiences,and they followed through with their grooming techniques in accord with my concerns and requests.My dog, a husky mix, was well groomed, his coat was nice and soft, and well brushed out,his nails were smooth, all in all a very good experience which I would highly recommend to anyoneseeking pet grooming services here.

We were in need of a groomer after 14 years with an amazing groomer. We had tried a few places, but were not satisfied. Michelle answered my questions quickly and got us an appointment within a reasonable time. Drop off/pick up were completed smoothly with COVID guidelines in place. Our dog was treated well and looks amazing. The cut lines were so precise. They surpassed my expectations. It's always a good thing when you find a quality business.

Picked my dog up and he was cowering from me putting hands near him at all. Blood vessels popped in eyes. No explanation when questioned. Would NEVER sugggest this place. The person who does the grooming wouldn’t come out of the back to talk to me. Just hid.

Shelly is so GOOD I drive at least 40 minutes to an hour just to get my dog groomed. No one else I trust to work on my dogs but her. I used to drive to NYC to get my pomeranian groomed. I trust her and 100% always go to her.

The worst experience ever. After having left her there for more than 5 hours (!!) I took Sophie home even though the groomer had not finished. Sophie had spasmed twice there . Too stressed. And after all that - a terrible cut. Groomers were completely indifferent to dog.

I took both my dogs here last week for a grooming and specifically asked that they not cut the nails on one of my dogs. He gets very nervous about people touching his paws and I’ve been working with him almost daily to grind his nails with lots of rewards involved to help him get over that fear. Because of that, his nails were already pretty short anyway.When I brought my dogs home the one seemed a little nervous and didn’t want to walk or jump into the backseat. I thought it was because he was tired. When I got home I noticed blood all over my couch where my dog was. They had quicked him badly even after I specifically requested they not touch his nails. Poor thing was in pain. I inspected the rest of his nails to find deep grooves in about four of them meaning they tried to cut other nails and he probably jolted his leg away before they could clamp down. His nails are black, so it’s difficult to see the quick and I can’t imagine how much more pain he would’ve been in had they actually been successful.I called the groomer to ask what happened and was treated very nonchalantly by the man who answered the phone. He offered to have me come back so they could put some quick stop powder on my dog’s nails. Why I would ever let them touch my dog again is beyond me. Besides, I keep the powder at home for emergencies anyway and applied it myself. The man said he would talk to the groomer (who I think is also the owner) about what happened. It’s been a week and I never received a call back. Obviously there is nothing they can do about it now, but I think it’s very unprofessional to not even call and address the issue considering they hurt my dog.They have definitely lost my business and I would never recommend them to anyone else.

I was so thankful they could take my Shepherd/Husky mix in. We just moved from Texas and it was his first time being groomed here. There was miscommunication on time, but they still took him and took their time and did a great job! He seemed very relaxed and happy coming out. Definitely will be coming back!

Our Bichon is always getting so many compliments after her visits to Dog Gone Gorgeous! We've been taking her here weekly for almost three years now and never ever any problems! They do an impeccable job!Regarding Al's bad review below, too bad that he doesn't understand that a small business cannot afford a full time receptionist! I'm sorry they lost your business, and I'm sure they are, too, but I'm grateful they didn't leave the dogs unattended on the grooming table. Try calling ahead and making an appointment and give them a chance to show you the great work they do. After all, what matters the most is how well they treat your dogs. :)

staff were so kind and did such an amazing job with our puppy. It was the first time I brought her in and the staff were so accommodating and patient with her. She is a hand full to say the least so I am just amazed by the beautiful end result. I could not have asked for anything different or more from this establishment. My first visit with my Dog Thunder was one of the best grooming and professional experiences in long time. Very frustrating when you can't seem to find groomers that can work with and try and make nervous dog experiences much calmer for them, they pretty much tell you I'm giving up and throwing in the towel...Well not at Dog Gone Gorgeous my recent visit was one of the most relaxing and stress free experiances I've had in a while, when first approached by groomer professional Jackie she listened to my concerns about troubled visits to other groomers, when she said she specialises in different breeds and especially Lhasa my luck was hopefully going to change..three hours later going back to see my boy I was thrilled and very happy on how he looked and treated while he was there, they took the initiative to make him feel welcome and make him comfortable for his experience. Jackie was so nice and explained from the start and finish on how my Thunder did and how and what to do to make his next visit even more enjoyable...Thank you for your great care and making Thunder look so handsome ...Steve.

My silky yorkie has very long hair to the point where his hair is in his face making It hard for him to see. I love his hair so I never like it to be cut too short. They do an amazing job and does a nice neat cut. I showed them a picture of how I would like it to look and they did it as close as possible. Looks amazing!!! I highly recommend

Dog Gone Gorgeous is worth the drive. Groomer Shelly knows how her dog breeds inside and out and how to groom according to breed standards. She is also an owner/handler of top-ranked Irish Setters. We have taken our field spaniels to Shelly for over 15 years and she is hands down the best groomer we've ever had. Once we made the mistake of trying a groomer closer to home with absolutely disastrous results. Shelly and her team are pros.

My boyfriends family cat Smokey never got a haircut in his life, which is about 11 years without a cut & now he finally got cut! We were all so nervous for him because he refuses to be touched by strangers and if strangers did touch him he would attack but thanks to Dog Gone Gorgeous and especially my good friend Jacqueline Saunders Smokey was handled with great care & looks amazing! I drove by the sign earlier in the week. I was so excited to see a groomer walking distance from home. Unfortunately, when I got to the location. The front desk was not attended and three staff members in the back never acknowledged me nor my two puppies. One gentlemen even made eye contact but turned his head. It's a shame when you try to give a chance to the smaller business but customer service is not there expert area. I'm disappointed but happy not to invest my money here I will continue to to bring my pups to a larger chain for all their service needs!

Disappointed. I was recommended to come here and heard good things. When I called to make a grooming appointment. I was asked if I had been there before. I replied no. Then was asked what kind of dog I had and I replied Mini golden doodle. He then in turn shut me down and said they weren’t taking anymore clients at this time. Like what was the point of the questions if you were going to turn us away anyway. We will just have to give somewhere else a chance because we probably won’t be giving here a try any time soon.

YOu will never find a better groomer than Shelly and her staff. She has never muzzled my dog ever (despite his history of biting) because he is a rescue and she did not want grooming to be a traumatizing experience for him. She takes pride in all she does. And he comes out looking handsome and smells so good. She charges you fairly and stands behind her work. I am thankfull for all she has done for my dog. He is not frightened when he goes and Shelly knows all his little mannerisms and knows how to address them. THE BEST!
