I did a store pickup and it marked my main item as out of stock, and I found it when I arrived at the store (it was on display so not in the aisle), but the employee couldn't add it back. I asked to cancel the pickup and instead of canceling she marked it as picked up and then tried to return it and said she couldn't. She also couldn't price match the item online (which is expected) - and I had to call to fix it. Since she marked it as picked up, all the coupons on my account were used and i had to call customer service again to fix itThe first response when I asked to cancel my order was to come back in 2 hours to try returning it and I asked if I could leave it there so it just cancels itself and she said she already marked it as picked up, so that was annoying.The one in Central just seems better in most cases

the store on river street is dirty and not well stocked. The same dirt stains in the exact place for months! On the outside of the store over where the drive through is, it looks like a truck crashed into it.its been like that for months and they still have not repaired it.Walgreens may be one of the oldest drugstore chains but it arguably one of the worst.

The woman who checked me out on Thursday at the middle register was super pleasant and patient. It’s nice when you feel like the cashier also wants your care card number to go through for discounts. There is parking here. It’s also close to Whole Foods. I think they were under stocked on some things.

On Wednesday, September 28 2022, 1:48pm I picked up my online photo order. Poster printer was out of order at the time.The Cashier, and Manager was awesome and went above and beyond with their customer service skills, to rectification the situation.Great Job Walgreens! 👍🏿

Pharmacy filled my prescription 4 days ago and closed indefinitely the next day without notifying people the whose prescriptions are ready. There are no notices at the pharmacy saying this…literally the bare minimum, easiest thing to do so people don’t keep going back to check. They don’t even know when they’ll have pharmacists, so they should be making this very clear. Google is finally now updated but this has all be absurd.

I've been going to this rite aid for many years. Any negative experiences I have had were due to a single issue at the time. A long time ago for example, there was a pharmacist who really shouldn't have had a job interacting with customers. Sometimes they have a tech who is shy and not friendly with customers. On rare occasions they do not have my prescription in stock and I have to wait or go to another rite-aid. Sometimes I would like earlier knowledge of my existence if they are otherwise occupied - though this could be my impatience. Overall though, I like coming here - their reward program can give you up to 20% off normal prices which is great as my sole place for last minute items. Currently I really like the pharmacy. One of the techs recognizes me, asks if I want to pick up for other members of my family, will contact my doc herself instead of telling me to do it. Really - the best experience I've had with a pharmacy ever. Overall it is well kept, has what I need in stock, and I rarely have any issue with quality. ( I once bought some off Oreos- but the Oreo people took care of that). So overall, it's fine as a neighborhood pharmacy and drug store - give it a try

Embarrassingly out of stock of most things almost all the time, and the prices seem notably higher than online and/or other stores. They've rudely told me they don't price match their own website, when I asked about an item that was supposed 2x the online price.By far the worst Walgreens/CVS I've been to (I only stop by due to it's convenient location), which is weird given it's great location.

The pharmacists and management here are so incompetent. Their refrigerator holding their vaccines and booster shots broke. They didn’t cancel any of the scheduled appointments or alert anyone. So people (myself included) showed up for our appointments only to be told passive-aggressively to reschedule through the app. When asked why they didn’t reach out to us to cancel the appointments, they lied and said they tried to call us. Why are you lying? I can clearly see in my phone that I have no missed calls or voicemails. Just own up to the fact that you are incompetent. Poor service. Poor pharmacists. The two middle aged blonde women working in the pharmacy clearly hate their jobs and are miserable. What makes matters worse is they are taking out their frustrations on the patients visiting the pharmacy. Terrible location. Avoid at all costs.

Why isn’t 0 stars and option? Literally 100% of the time there are issues with our prescriptions. Figured I’d write a review while they’re searching again for a prescription.Send us a text it’s ready for pick up. Then nope no where to be found. Not even in the system.Go to pick up a prescription that I’ve confirmed is ready? Get there and they only filled half of it and I have to return the next day. Why didn’t you warn me when I confirmed?I could give so many examples but its just beyond me.

Went to this store as it indicated it had the product I was looking for. Online the price showed as $2.79. The shelf price in store was (for no apparent reason) $4.99. Employee got upset when I showed her the online policy clearly stating that stores price match online prices up to once per day per customer. Manager came over and resolved the issue, but refused to price match before reading the policy and telling me some unnecessary things to try to dissuade me from doing the price match.Don’t go to this store. They’re deceptive and will try to take advantage of you following Walgreens standard policies.

Update 4.20.21: Still the worst! 0 stars—-Pharmacy Review Only: Without question the most inconsistent pharmacy I have used. They regularly say meds will be ready by a certain time, they usually are not ready by that time. They also receive an Rx from the doctor (this has happened to me 3x in 6 months) and insist they haven’t received it. The patient goes without meds for days while they resolve it with the doctor. Every time Walgreens will then apologize and say something about their “system” and I’ll politely ask “how can we avoid this in the future” and they assure me it won’t happen, only to have it happen. This is not good for a PHARMACY to do because people go without medication

So I went to the pharmacy on a Sunday.To see what was going on with my daughters prescriptions. Which the pharmacist said they would call her doctor to talk about her medication.Why do they never called and my daughters been in pain for a whole week. So I go on there on Sunday and the two woman at the Pharmacy for discrimination towards me. Telling me that my daughter is 20 years old. The woman say it like four times. And then when I got home to talk to my daughter the pharmacist told her that they were car and that was a week ago so then when I called the pharmacist she’s going to tell me oh they must be a miscommunication someone was just here trying to force us to give her the medication which is a lie. So on top of it of them being unpleasant still trying to assume false claims as well. I am go to call Corporate as well to see if I can report them.

Pharmacy Review:As others have noted, this pharmacy is terrible.I took my business to CVS, HIGHLY suggest you avoid the headaches and do the same.Experience:They lied to me and told me my medication was in stock, only to later call and tell me it was not in stock.When I asked when it would be in stock, they were not certain.When I asked what other Walgreens have them in stock, they told me they would call me back with that information; they never called me back so I called back 30 minutes later to check in and was told they were ‘still working on it’.Edit:I eventually got a response 1 hour and 15 minutes later.Edit 2:My medication was out so they ordered me more. For some reason, there was a 2 day delay between notifying me the medication was out and ordering more. So now I must wait almost a week to get my medication.

We came into Walgreens to quickly print some pictures ahead of graduation dinner. Melaku Asrat was super helpful and nice. He helped us get around the printing system and was kind enough to allow us to reprint some pictures as they didn’t come out the way we needed. A great employee!! Thank you Melaku

Asked for a refill and transfer from a Rite Aid after I moved to Cambridge, and they said it'd be ready at 6 PM that day. Return at 8 that evening and not only is the prescription not ready, the transfer is not done either. Call the pharmacy they transferred from and they said all documentation was sent, but because the pharmacy was technically a Walgreens (?????) my prescription is no longer in the Rite Aid system. Call back- they say they never got it. So yeah, they LOST my prescription.I'm thankful my condition was not so serious that going without my medication for a day would've been disastrous, but they can't conduct business like this. Not a Rite Aid anymore? Don't have Rite Aid's system? Fine, CALL YOURSELF A WALGREENS. But do some double checking before you lose somebody's medication and make the patient do ALL of the work trying to find it. This is a disgrace.

One of the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to. Though the employees are kind and helpful, the store overall is constantly understaffed and understocked. There is also garbage all around the building and they never clear the snow in the winter.

As is true with others that have submitted comment - the River Street Rite Aide has been excellent since shortly after the purchase from Brooks Pharmacy many years ago. Hope this continues when Walgrens takes over. The staff is great and will hopefully remain - so as long as they don't change the stock and the prices it ought to be ok.

Harvard clinic sent them my prescription 2 times. The first time they said they ran out of the medicine and didn't receive my prescription. The second time they said they received the prescription but couldn't locate it in the system.And the third time I had my prescription sent else where.What is going on???

Beware of price rip off. Check the price label before u get to register. U could be ripped off example. 2 powerade says 3 for 2 get to register an rings up $3.68. Employee are not to freindly. An u tell mgr she seems to not care

This is a great Walgreens - the management is super nice and it’s clean and organized. I’ve now had two experiences where the staff have gone out to be super helpful. I don’t normally write reviews but wanted to say thank you.

I was waiting outside 15 minutes until 8am just to learn that pharmacy open at 9am at summer. Outside is written that opens at 9 only on Friday

Horrible store. Empty shelves and stacks of boxes clog the aisles. Seems to be seriously understaffed and lacking management. The trash barrel in front is often overflowing.
