This location is incredibly unorganized, undertrained and unprofessional. All the prices on the sales floor are wrong and the employees refuse to honor their pricing accuracy guarantee. Walgreens has had to pay out settlements for this shady practice and unethical behavior in the past so it doesn’t surprise me. Tired of coming here and being falsely advertised a misleading price. Learn how to do your job and stop deceiving your customers.To customers, I highly suggest you go to the CVS across the street. Unlike Walgreens, that CVS has never tried to scam in all the times I’ve been there.

Checkouts and photo booths are never staffed. Told me they didn't have envelopes for my christmas cards when I ordered them, and didn't seem to understand what I meant by "envelopes" when I tried to describe them. Staff was cursing under their breath the entire time I was working with them. Phones were ringing and left unanswered. This place sucks.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. All workers I have dealt with are rude and move so slowly. I avoid going in this store any chance I can. Tried going again and register failed to recognize each one of my credit cards so I just walked over to CVS

I’ve never left a negative review but do not get your passport photo taken here— the worker was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. She left after I pointed out a concern about the way the photos were being cut (my face off to one side instead of being centered) and she tried to resolve it after I explained what my concern was multiple times. Then, she insisted that there was nothing that could be done because I needed 2 copies of the photo (which isn’t true, you only need 1 copy for a passport application). She left while I was mid-sentence and said she “had other things to do”

10/21/2023, approximately 10PM:The manager, Carlos, yelled at me and refused to honor my Walgreens Cash Rewards, gave me false information that I must spend $40 in order to access my Walgreens Cash Rewards, and verbally abused me.Walgreens, I suggest you run an investigation into this location's manager, and especially review the security footage of the register during this evening.You will likely find that this manager ruins your brand reputation.

If only I could give negative star reviews. Never have been to a pharmacy with a prescription order sent 1 hour in advance and still have to wait half a day before the prescription is even "being verified". The medications are very common NSAIDs/pain-relief and anti-bacterial meds and should not take that long normally. Calling does not help because they do not answer any calls. Go to CVS instead..

Scheduled a booster 2 weeks in advance, went to the appointment, pharmacist said they were short staffed and "had lots of prescriptions to fill" and refused to give us our boosters, also citing "the process takes a long time" - for sure, the prep and paperwork for a 5 second shot must be super time consuming! We took work off for this appointment AND the next day, cool cool.CVS across the street is the way to go, always professional, always on time, the only reason I scheduled w/ Walgreens in the first place is because CVS was out of appointments. Don't waste your time :) thanks Walgreens!

This is by far the worst Walgreens I’ve been to - very understaffed and the one staff member I spoke to was extremely rude. I asked him a question and he completely dismissed me walking by me as if I hadn’t spoken. When I tried to catch his attention yet again by saying hello he just snapped out an “I can hear you”. I was baffled and upset by his behavior and response - I did not find what I was looking for where he said it would be and I was too anxious to go ask again. I left the store and took my business to the CVS across the road. Avoid this place and go elsewhere if possible.

Great place to shop. They leave you alone, and the homeless man there even opens the door for you and says "God bless you" even if you do not give him a gift of mercy. The staff is helpful whenever you request anything. I've gone in wearing saccloth (looking a hot mess) and they give me whatever item I want treating me as a person. I go in there with a suit and get treated the same way as i get treated when I look a mess. WE NEED MORE COMPANIES THAT BEHAVE THIS WAY!

Older store, set up of aisles and pharmacy is kind of awkward. They don't carry a lot of certain items that most other Walgreens do. Example: no prepaid cell phones+, etc.Needs updating and more easily navigated aisles and pharmacy

If they are out of stock of my rx, which is 9/10 times, I never get any notification so I show up for what I need, and end up having to skip days and miss work. When your store and pharmacy are garbage and poorly run it actually affects people’s health and their lives. Running a functioning pharmacy seems too difficult for any chain store n central square.When I had a problem not related to this inexcusable situation the manager was just some teenage boy who did everything in his power not to be helpful/surely get back to his Minecraft game. Badly run all-around.

This Walgreens has what you need but has been very slow every time I have gone in the past year. I know there are staffing challenges but just be aware. They do not have any self checkout options. There is a FedEx drop off, you just have to ask!

The pharmacy team at this Walgreen's is consistently and particularly incompetent. If I'm not waiting an unacceptable amount of time for them to find my prescription, I'm waiting in an equally unacceptably long line. I'm so sad that the Porter Square location is closing. I will give this location two stars because in general I like Walgreen's and I have not interacted with the managing pharmacist so maybe they're great. That won't stop me from trying another location.

Understaffed, and most of the employees who were on duty ignored customers. The inside of the store could be cleaner as well. And the Western Union and Photo Printer is broken. The staff do not know how to fix it either and offer little assistance. Do not go here unless every other drug store/convenience store is closed

I love Walgreens and was thinking about switching my meds to this location because it is closer to my home. When I called this pharmacy to find out how many refills I have left on 2 of my medications that I regularly fill with Walgreens the employee I spoke to was completely incapable of answering this simple request. She first said, I am not a Walgreens patient and cannot help me. I asked if she was looking at the central profile to be sure that she could see my med list as Walgreens has a central system. I speak very clear English and she was clearly not familiar with drug names because she was very confused the whole conversation and I take very common medications. If she was confused, she should have asked someone else to assist. I wish I had gotten her name because she was completely incompetent at her job and shouldn't be working with patients.

I was paying cash for an item for 5 dollars and the cashier insisted thatI touch the computer screen by the register. I refused since these screensare touched by thousands of people. Then the cashier swore at me and told me I could not buy the item. So you might not want to visit this locationbecause the help is very low end and this store feels like it run by gangs.

The Walgreens located at the old Woolworth's location is one of my favorite places to shop when I visit Central Square. This Walgreens has a tendency to have a very long line at the checkout yet, their prices are significantly cheaper than CVS across the street ... which has been the case since this Walgreens location first opened in 2001.

I ran in to save grab toothpaste to save my dragon breath but my bus was due to leave in 4 minutes so I run to grab a tube and staff makes an announcement for security. I thought it's probably for me cuz I look crazy again trying to catch the bus. And long story short this plain clothed "security" comes out and starts to tail me. Seriously guys????

The service here by the pharmacist head and assistant is terrible. They are both extremely rude and insensitive. Never have my meds any more for the strength I take. When I asked if I could get the lower dose if I got a new rx... I was told " that will wipe out my stock on that so no" so I tried calling around. I go to pick up another rx and was threatened by the pharmacist because a person that could barely speak English was "under the impression"I said I worked at walgreens. I stated it was untrue and she practically called me a liar and threatened to call my doc and said it is illegal to impersonate a pharmacy associate. AS IF I would WANT TO BE associated with your terrible customers service poor rx stock and the complete inability to problem solve for me the patient. SMH DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION OR ANY OTHER WALGREENS FOR THAT MATTER RANT OVER

The most incompetent people working at this pharmacy that I have ever encountered. I had to contact my pharmaceutical insurance company because the pharmacy tech could not figure it out how to obtain my account information on their own. I would go to CVS across the street.

Usually pretty good. PHARMACY OPENS AT 9AM! I've made the mistake of going earlier too many times so it was time for a review. Online says 7am and phones say 8am but it's really 9am.

Literally the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to in my life. Plan to spend half an hour to get one prescription picked up.
