Best BBQ spot in Mass!!!! When you think of BBQ, you think Texas, or at least I do ! I have been to many in Texas, and I'm so happy to have found this place especially close to home I loved everything about it the beer the service our waitress was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. We went on a weekend, so there was a bit of a wait. we waited about 25 30 min, but right before we were seated, we heard it had gone up to an hour wait. Not one person said no when asked if that's okay? So that automatically meant to me that this will be a good spot if you're willing to wait that long. We'll my thinking was correct I highly recommend it I will be back there for sure !!

The food is always amazing. Some of the best bbq I've ever had. The homemade bbq sauce is very fitting for the brisket and pulled pork sandwich. Ask for a brioche bun for a bun for your pulled pork sandwich. Will not be disappointed! The pickles are fresh and made in-house. Yum!Parking: Right off of route 95

So far, I’ve only had the brisket, but it is really really good. It is tender and moist, The flavors are mouthwatering and it falls apart the way it should. The service for Takeout was perfect. What a great spot. And I’ve heard so many good things about their other selections that I cannot wait to try.. 👍👍🔥

Found this by chance on a Sunday. Absolutely delicious food. We got take out and everything was just right. Pork belly and mojo chicken tacos were light and simple. Pork belly melt was amazing and I was like finally someone made a BBQ sandwich that dreams are made of. Portions are great. Prices reasonable. Definitely recommend stopping in. Yum!

I was excited to finally try this spot. I was also disappointed. We came on a Monday afternoon at like 345pm. Somewhat busy but more people left during my time there, a little over an hour. Here's why i was disappointed... the place was not very clean (including restrooms). Inside was not what I expected, almost like an old function hall (take out side where I dined) that was very out of date from shabby ceiling tiles to old banquet style chairs. Not a good ambiance overall.Service was ok. I say this because it runs into the food issues. Kind but not attentive waitress. The food was either really good or really bad. Wings came out first with the fire. Fries were fine. Wings disgusting. They were pinkish & tasted underdone. Very very soggy and rubbery. I was told they were cooked, first smoked, then deep fried.... but if they were fried, why were they rubbery and soft? Waitress made no offer to give a new order - just told me that's how they came. I didn't touch them, and they were wasted. As well as money wasted. The ranch smelled and tasted foul too.Cheeseburger seemed fine, I didn't try it though.2 meat combo plate had amazing ribs. Brisket was good. Mac and cheese were ok. Overathe meats had less flavor than expected. The pulled pork taco was amazing. I did not eat the tortilla. I had to ask for cilantro. But this was the best thing ordered.I asked about the banana pudding dessert. Was told there were Nilla wafers inside and it was made in house. I took a chance and it was the wrong decision. The bananas were inedible. Not ripe, hard and old tasting. I took them out, after spitting them out. Not sure if I ate actually homemade pudding or if it was boxed. Not sure if made in house meant boxed and put together in the container in the kitchen but it was terrible. I mentioned it as well, but again no remedy for it.Lastly I noticed people sneezing at their table. I seen there were open containers of BBQ sauce and random cups of silverware and paper napkins already on the tables. In a world of Covid and viruses going around, not sure how sanitary this is.Not going back here. Big waste of money.Parking: pot holes everywhereKid-friendliness: high chairs

Best BBQ in MA! Wife keep saying how it reminded her about Terry’s bbq in Texas and I must agree! The brisket, the pork ribs, and the chili tots were my favorite! We will definitely come back.

Great BBQ with great service. These guys were cranking out food quickly even with a large midday crowd, I was impressed. The brisket was tender and fell apart perfectly. I highly recommend getting the brisket sandwich “three way style”. All in our party had an excellent meal. Our server was amiable and handled our large party perfectly. Drinks are great here as well. I will be back for sure!

Highly recommend the 3 meat combo so that you get to try the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. My favorite is the brisket and we asked for the fattier cut. My favorite sides are the mac and cheese, black beans, and corn bread. We even ordered an extra corn bread to go.Brisket bomb was delicious with cubes of brisket, bacon, mushroom, cheese on a sub roll. It was huge! Cajun rubbed chicken wings and hush puppies were good too. We've been here twice and both times there was a wait, so I think that's just the norm. Prepare accordingly.

We got a great dinner for four here - takeaway - the other night. My brother ordered it. A #1, perhaps? Pork, beef, wings. A bunch of sides. More than enough, with a good pile of leftovers for another meal. The brisket was delicious. As was the pork. Sometimes pulled pork gets dry waiting to be served. Not so, here! Good job, folks! The Cajun wings were cooked just right. Juicy. I wasn’t a fan of the Cajun seasoning which overwhelmed a bit. No biggie. They nailed the ribs, as to be expected.Mac n cheese was adequate. Yummy beans. I’d take the rolls out of their shipping bag, but that’s just me. The whipped butters were a pleasure. My brother makes and sells his own BBQ sauces; so respectfully, I didn’t sample the sauce that came with the meal.We will be back. Next time I wanna get some hush puppies!

Relaxed and unassuming! The mac n cheese was good and corn bread with honey butter superb. They have limited vegetarian options, but that’s to be expected for barbecue. If you are willing to pick around the meat, the black beans and collard greens are excellent. My partner loved his wings and brisket. Overall, this is a great establishment and is worth a visit!Vegetarian options: Some options, but you might have to pick around the meat for the beans and collard greens. The mac n cheese, corn bread, and slaw are all excellent.

We waited for a table because it’s worth waiting 45 minutes. Already knew that! Our waitress Denny was amazing! So patient in the face of a line of people waiting to get in. Treated us like dearly expected guests, no fluster in spite of all the pressure. The food and the SERVICE rates 5 stars! Shame on anyone who comes to a smokehouse and expects it to be like Ruth’s Chris. It was the BEST FOOD and the BEST SERVICE ever! Five stars to everything! And yes we WAITRD for 45 minutes for a seat at the bar for the brisket nachos and Grey Goose martinis! There’s a wait and there’s a reason..,, There is nothing that compares anywhere! Cannot wait to go back!!!Vegetarian options: The lady next to me was a vegan who happily ordered the nachos without meat while her husband enjoyed a meat loaded sandwich!Dietary restrictions: I always look for gf options and was very happy hereKid-friendliness: Large families happily waiting and seated promptlyWheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for wheelchairs and strollers

Phenomenal…. There wasn’t a single thing to criticize aside from me not having taken a to go order after consuming this delicious meal. The ribs were flavorful and soft. The Mac, beans, & cornbread were also delicious. I generally stay away from brisket as many people overcook it and dry the meat out. Rusty Cans brisket was probably the best I’ve had since going to Texas. It was moist and packed with fatty flavor. This alone would make me commute an hour just to try again.Add in great service and $3 PBR and there’s no excuse to not to go back. Very satisfied and I cannot wait to return!

Keep it moving. Rusty in the name tells the story. Visited once and will never forget the bad vibe experience; food was marginal at best. People want to want to believe this gin mill on the map is some official hoedown country western BBQ experience. Its a poor excuse to drink and as an authentic Wisconsin farmer's daughter, I'm suggesting Texas Roadhouse or Cracker Barrel as step-up alternatives and that's being extremely kind. Go or stay away but don't lie to yourself or others and don't drink and drive.

I love the Rusty Can, we have been there many times, and today, my son's service dog, which is in training, stepped on her water container and made a mess... it was an accident. One of the waitresses was extremely rude and insulted my son, who the service dog belongs to, and that made our dinner very distressing. Our waitress was very supportive and apologetic. The other patrons came to my son's rescue and made him feel comfortable, which made all the difference in the world. People tend to assume, based on their perspective, the waitress went as far as telling my son that anyone can get a service dog card. She doesn't know the process my son went through to get his card for his service dog. Maybe she knows something we don't, but I hope she doesn't do that to another customer who visits the Rusty Can. That was not a good dining experience, but we will be back. Hopefully, we won't have to go through this again because my son loves it!

1st time stopping by the Rusty Can for takeout as many people say its very good. The order took about 15 minutes from time order was placed, which is great. I live about 5 minutes away and the entire order was cold by the time I arrived home and unpacked it.Oredered the two meat combo. The brisket was at least 90 percent fat and not very tasty. The pulled pork was good after reheating. The fries were soggy (would prefer them in a paper bag instead of a styrofoam conatiner}. Mac and cheese and coleslaw are both fine.I was happy to try the Rusty Can, but the food quality could improve to match the high price charged.
