They took almost two hours and I picked my dog up and she was still half wet, smelling like a wet dog and they did not even trim her nails. We booked a full bath with the seasonal package, which obviously includes nail trimming. Her hair is super tangled in her ears, they did not brush her at all. Besides that, my dog was shaking when we arrived, which she does not do at other groomers. Will never come back and do not recommend. Could have done a better job myself.

Please do not have your dog groomed with Brianna. She injured my dog. She shaved him so terribly on his paws and his behind that I am going to have to take him to the vet due to the irrigation and fissures in those areas. Paid $100 for grooming to get an injured dog. Avoid her at all costs!

Overall feel like the quality of this location has gone downhill. We went regularly for the refillable cat litter, but the past 3-4 months it has been so incredibly dusty that we're concerned about our and our cats' health. We've had to buy an air purifier just to deal with the litter dust.That combined with the rather unkempt atmosphere and absolutely miserable parking experience from the restaurant next door means this location just isn't worth the time or effort.

I took my new 6 month old puppy for grooming at this location. She receives all her shots here and previous service as well. This time around was different. While waiting almost 4 hours. The manager Brianna was on her phone half of the time. Upon entering no professionalism. Did not greet me or the customers after me. However, the other two stylist remained professional. Brianna however, was so aggressive with the puppy. I literally had to go inside as I was beyond livid and address her. The other employees were shaking their heads in disbelief of her behavior and whispering sorry to me. They didn’t want to address her as she was there manager. I did not allow her to finish the grooming and took my puppy as she was traumatized at this point. I requested after still paying for my services to speak with Stephanie who is her manager as I was advised. Stephanie immediately asked if I paid for the service. I advised her it was not about money. It was about the aggression in the department with the puppies who someone they trust to treat our animal family like family. Based on the other stylist this seems to be Brianna’s daily attitude within Petco. This is a serious matter and advised Stephanie to run back the camera in the room as this was beyond unacceptable. She seemed to be listening however to nonchalant as if this was not the first complaint from Brianna. I will reach out to corporate as this employee needs better training or a different profession if treating animals with respect and customers is a priority when in service.

Monica was great! Izzy and Pearl the cuts they needed. Was charged a bit extra which never happened before. So I was surprised that what I would normally pay was actually more. But I wasn’t to upset because once I seen them I knew they had been in good hands. They got the cuts I expected and wanted. The mud bath that was also an extra charge but it was great for them and it really helped them since they did not get a cut in a while by the groomers only at home with me (which can be very challenging and with a lot of work). It left there coats soft and Izzy who had dandruff which I couldn’t get rid of at home helped her so much. I loved that they got a report card which I never got before. Which assured m of their good behavior.The last time from a previous appointment, I was told by a different groomer Izzy was fidgety and was not able to get the cut I wanted, which I didn’t believe because I know they pretty much kept still during their other appointments and at home with me.So given the heads up to Monica about how Izzy might act I was surprised that wasn’t the case with her. Monica did a great job, I was more happy to know they both were in good hand because Izzy and Pearl are the sweetest and they have such good behavior and Monica honesty and professionalism really made me not worry about the extra prices that was added because I knew they were needed once it was explained and once I got to see Izzy and Pearl afterwards. I was so glad they were In such good caring hands. My only hope is that Monica is there the next time Izzy and Pearl comes in for their wash and cut.

This petco is now the site of an event that will go down in history as one of the wildest customer service interactions I've ever had.I stopped in this afternoon to grab a few cat toys and treats. The store itself was a little disorganized which isn't a big deal, but it did make checkout a little confusing. We waited for quite a while for the sales associate to finish a conversion with the person in front of us, but again, not a big deal. They seemed a little understaffed, so it happens.But the interaction took a turn for the bizarre when we finally got up to the sales associate, an older woman with pinkish-purple hair and, at first glance, a fun, whimsical vibe. Sadly, the interaction that would follow was anything but.While I unloaded my basket, she asked if I had a phone number with petco. I only stop in once every blue moon, so I don't. She then asked for my name and number to sign me up for a membership. I politely declined, which wound up being entirely the wrong answer. This associate acted like I'd called her mother a slur. Her tone became outright aggressive as she insisted that I was making a mistake, as I was losing the chance to save money AND I would have to bring a receipt if I wanted to make a return (you know, how returns usually work). I again politely declined, which seemed roughly equivalent to backhand slapping this woman in the face based on her reaction. She repeated the same spiel about saving money and receipts again, and when I again declined, she became extremely agitated. She snapped at me for setting my basket in the wrong spot, saying I was going to trip someone. When I apologized and moved it, she scoffed at me like I was the world's biggest idiot. All the while, as she scanned items, she slammed them down on the counter without asking if I needed a bag. A friend I was with then nicely asked if we could get a bag, to which the sales associate wheeled on her and snapped, "You can have a bag _if you request one_." We then requested a bag. Wrong move. She all but threw it at me, and I had to try and scramble to pack up my items just to get the hell out there before she elected to behead me and leave my skull on a spike as a warning to others about the consequences of refusing to join the petco rewards program. The whole time, I was feeling my fight or flight response bubbling up, which is a deeply weird sensation to experience at a Boston Petco on a Saturday afternoon.Ultimately, after frantically packing the bag with my items, my friends and I left in a state of shock. It was genuinely one of the most bizarrely rude and aggressive interactions I've had in my entire life. Don't get me wrong, I worked retail for years and know customers can be a lot, but literally all I did was not want to sign up for a membership.It seems there's less customer service and more customer hostility to be found at this petco.0/5 do not recommend.

I took my cat for nail trimmingI had placed clean towel in the carrying box,l handed over the box ,my cat sitting nervous in the box to the guy who trims the nailIn ten minutes, he's all set to goSo paid the bill with tipsI came home with my cat opened up the box to let my cat outI see this guy, who trimmed his nails had dumped my cat in the pooped box, this person doesn't have any love for animals l guess, other wise he wouldn't dump my cat in the poopNow l don't do any hair trimming for my catLast time while trimming his hair they chopped of his skinHe was bleeding,it took 5 to 6 months to heal, l had spent so much money, took him to a cat clinic,People working with animals should have love for animalsAt the time of dropping up ur pet ,oh so sweet gesture from staff who takes the pet insideI wonder what happens inside the closed door with pet.Karma will come back

I have been a loyal customer for the past several months. I booked an appointment in advance for grooming my dog, just a bath at the short hair rate. I have always gotten the short hair rate. I happened to notice when I got back home from this last appointment that the total increased by almost $10 because somehow my appointment was changed to a long hair rate. My dog’s hair has not changed in length since I’ve been taking him to get groomed. I left a voicemail with the store asking to speak to someone about this discrepancy, no one has gotten back to me. Stylist Selena M. Is a thief and should be avoided at all costs.

When we were going to buy the fish, they said we need to have stone, grass, and all the things u saw on the picture, and they still refused us to get the fish because the glass aquarium is too small! The one we have is size 1. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just want a fish and it’s a small one.And when I saw it, the price was around 3.5.And the price change after 20 minutes I went there again.Is it reasonable to refused me?I don’t understand if size one is not good for fish, why sell it in the store and look at the picture; it’s for the fish and looks bigger than Guppy!And the worst thing is, when my husband ( American, but I am Asian) went to buy fishes, they let him bought it! Without talked down on him.This whole store racism Asian people.

Really bad customer service from the aquarium guy, I don’t know his name but very mean with no sales skills, is a shame because i used to buy my pet products there and i was starting my aquarium but I’ll go to another place. Otherwise Tristan who is there on Tuesdays is really nice

I have been coming here for a few years now and sadly on my last visit the cashier was being very racist towards Asian people.He kept saying how spring shabu was unsanitary and “they” were taking over. He made jokes about spring shabu buying the pets for food. Really disappointed.

Any 18 wheelers that has a load to this place do not deliver here. The dock they have is for BOX TRUCKS.I ended up parking on the side of the store. The manager grabbed her employees and we unloaded the truck by hand.The 5 stars is for how great the employees and manager were!!

Been a regular. Walking into the store around 8:40pm, grabbed a product and walked to the checkout area to ask the staff if they have something similar. This dude said “I wouldn’t know, you gonna find it yourself. But you better hurry up cuz we are closing in 9 minutes.” Thought it’s funny, you’re the staff, of course you should find out or at least refer me to other staff or just say it’s all there, if it’s not on the shelf we probably don’t have it. But hey we all have rough day and it’s late, don’t take it personal.Went to get some can food, didn’t see the one I’m looking for, asked another staff, she thought about it and kindly responded they don’t have the brand.Walked to checkout, the same dude tried to make fun with the lady in front of me, turned porker face to me when it’s my turn. After the transaction went through, he turned to chat with the other staff and handed the receipt backwards without turning back to me. Very rude.

There were NO carriages. The store seems to only have about 6 and they were all in use. Ridiculous! I didn’t buy everything I planned to, because I couldn’t lug the heavy stuff (kitty litter, big bag of cat food) to the register. I complained to staff member and she said they don’t have many carriages.

I have read several reviews and I feel bad for those who have experienced such issues. And how only select reviews granted a response from Petco representatives. Well I’m trying to call to see about vet services. I called 6 times and no answer just rings. On the 7th lady answered please hold and left me on hold for 2.35 seconds. Much be the chain of Petco locations. Guess Petco is not for me AT ALL!! Good luck everyone !!

Picked up a little one-eyed damsel for a dollar-fifty. He was very shy at first and hid. But now has settled nicely and loves zipping around with his friend, Cleo. He is cute always in and out of caves and crevices. Glad to have met him here at Petco. Service is generally good at this location except they need more fish people the wait can get crazy when the single staff member is occupied.

The place is a little dusty and in slight disrepair, and they're really scaling back the amount of live animals they have in stock, which doesn't compare well to online storefront options.

Amazing staff! They were super helpful and friendly. Alexandra gave us a fish masterclass when we went in to get a fish. We ended up prepping the tank appropriately and returning a few days later to get the fish (we also now have two tanks instead of one haha). I'm glad we did all the prepping because the fish are doing great!

I hate leaving bad reviews….. But it was like I was dealing with a game boss trying to buy a couple fish. Iv had the same setup for a few years now and the fact I got dismissed quickly after saying what size tank and what fish I wanted which where fish that was perfectly fine for my size tank. I did originally ask about a fish that i wasnt sure about and thats what started his quick remarks and finally huffs and puffs and silent treatment. Then Got into a back and forth and seeked a manager who then also took the employees side and refused to sell them. Very odd experience never had this happen at any othe location.

This store is looking amazing! I am not fully sure what has happened in the past month or so, but the store has totally been cleaned up! It used to be rather messy and disorganized, but it’s really turned around, especially the aquatics department!! It’s now so much cleaner, and fun to walk around seeing the clean fish and reptile tanks and, and the wide open path ways. Even the shelves and general organization is so much better! I can’t wait to go back in another month and see it all sparkling clean!! There are still a few other parts that need a little work, or some fresh pain, but if the store follows what has been happening with the fish and aquatics, then it’s going to be amazing!!!!

Extremely rude, racist person with pink hair in the grooming center. I asked them not to cut my dog's hair too short and they buzzed almost everything off. Absolutely horrible experience all the way around!! Very aggressive, pushy cashier who kept requesting I leave a tip but wouldn't give me my dog without paying first while I saw everyone else receive their dog and then paid. Never take your pet to this location for anything!!! Truly awful people!

Fabulous store. But more important are your outstanding associates!! So helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Just wish Petco would change its policy on grooming cats. No cats over 10yrs old. Even my Vet thinks it's ridiculous. She said she would even give us a letter attesting to the cat's health. Please reconsider

The animals here seem much healthier and happier than at other Petco’s. They have drawings on some cages, they name some of the pets and they have care guides with every enclosure. One of the employees, Eric, helped my friend and I out a lot. He is very knowledgeable about the animals in the store and gave me great advice about my pet ball python. He went above and beyond because he saw me struggling to carry my new 40 gallon tank he brought it to the register for me and when my friend and I said we would come back for the tank so we could carry it together he offered to carry it for us. Also the feeder mouse I got from this location was so much healthier than past feeders I’ve gotten. She was a lot more lively, had a shinier coat, and looked plumper. I’ll definitely be visiting this location for my pets needs more
