I took my dog Penny for a bath. The wash section is very convenient. It has everything you need, including a brush (its recommended to bring your own brush).I had a great experience bathing my dog and I am sure I’ll return next time Penny is in need.Lots of towels, very clean and hygienic. No smells at all.I strongly recommend it!!!

I love this pet store. Very friendly staff. Has a dog wash in the back. Good selection of premium and regular dog and cat foods & litter, and of course open bins for dog treat shopping with your best friend. :-) Animal care seems very good overall. My daughter worked here for a while and they are great people and good management team.

Employees are always very friendly and helpful, but I go here specifically for their XL puppy pads. They happened to be out of the larger sized packages, most likely due to the impending snowstorm at the particular time I went, but it was the same price to get multiple of the 10 packs. My only complaint is that the store brand does not come in anything larger than a 30 pack, at other stores I can get 50 packs or more. Theirs are a little bigger in sq. footage than any other store brand, cheaper AND a much better texture and quality. My 22 lb Cavalier King Charles gets 2-3 days out of one of these and 1-2 days out of the other store brands with a very occasional 3rd day.

I go here for all my dog food and puppy supplies. The best place I've found so far in Boston for selection and price. I typically take my pup to the PetSmart in Alewife but I drive here for their dog food and bones. The employees are really nice a well. Will keep shopping here.

I love taking my two dogs here for everything. Everyone is so friendly and understanding. My dog does not particularly like other people but all the workers understand that and don't push him. They also have a lot of deals running all the time which makes it easy to run in for quick treats for them.

The people working there are polite, that's the beginning and end of anything nice I can say about this location (Brighton). This visit like many others, I've been offered to "try another brand"because for some reason they have trouble keeping stock of what I've chosen for my akita, twice within a year I've resorted to another brand and (the third time) it's the merrick brand large bag venison, that they don't have in stock . All they had to offer was the small very expensive bag. I asked them to call another store(again, Medford) to have a bag put aside. Super annoying and very inconvenient. Lastly, this particular visit the store smelt like week old hot trash, very pungent and hard on the senses, not a normal pet store smell. My loyalty to this store and company is growing very thin.

Not sure what has gone on here since last fall, but things have fallen off sharply. Like driving a car over the Grand Canyon. People can watch it in free fall, but can't help.We have laced several orders, which we have done for years. It used to be a couple of days, or a week at most. Now? Forget it. It will be a month, then we get a call and they ask of we still want them to place the order. It got put aside because of a new manager or a bad employee or whatever poor excuse they make up.The selection is good if they have what your pet needs. Plenty of stock of the boutique brands.I wish they would install another freezer for raw frozen foods.

Employees are good, but the selection of cat food is disappointing. If you're looking for quality canned food you're better off going to Petco. They're also over priced. They can't even have competitive prices during the store closing sale.

Really great service, the employees are ready and willing to help at all times. They've got a huge variety of options and even a self-serve dog washing station which is a huge help for me. Glad to be a member!

My husband purchased pro plan dog food for our dog on 8/8/2017 , we opened the bag on 8/9/2017 and noticed the dog food was infestested with small black bugs. I called the store immediately and was told by salesman that they we're aware of issues with that food in particular and had no way to inspect the food because they can't open up the bags. When I asked why they continued to sell a food product that has known issues , I was told they are expected to sell whatever is on their shelves. This is not the first time there has been an issue with bags of dog food purchased at this location, appx 1-2 years ago we received a bag of moldy dog food, called and reported the issue and was refunded and given coupons for future Purina purchases. I have also called Purina direct to report this issue and expect quality control to do their part on inspection and prevention to be sure this doesn't happen again, and would suggest inspection of this store as well. I have no idea where they get their food from , but for a newer store, and 2 incidents of contaminated infested food warrants a health inspection and investigation. And knowingly selling food that could be adverse to our pets is just wrong. I will never purchase here again. Ever.

This store is awesome. The member card gets you lots of discounts and coupons. They have self service dog wash, vet clinics and a dog nail trim is only $8!

Large amounts of merchandise available. Toys, snacks and large variety of food. I had to keep my dog from diving into dog bone bins. Staff was very helpful.

The workers here are very knowledgeable about different dog breeds even when it comes to dog foods depending on your dog's age they even do dog washes and trim dog nails for cheap.
