I took my dog, Rudy to obedience class here one week after I adopted him at 1 1/2 years old. He had no formal training. I can't say enough about the trainer, Tara Altgilbers! She is a brilliant trainer. Tara quickly identified Rudy's issues and knew exactly how to train both Rudy and I. Amazing canine/people skills. Tare uses positive training which helped Rudy and I bond while learning. I have never had a dog that trained so fast and was happy to do so!!!

We left our dog there for 5 days. the dog came back fed and clean pretty happy. He wasn't as traumatized as he was after boarding in another kennel. The only problem I had was that I wasn't allowed inside at all. so I couldn't see the facility. that was a bit strange to me.

Aintree took great care of my cat while we were away for vacation! I had misheard the time we were supposed to drop off and they called me and were kind enough to stay a few minutes later so we could take our vacation! Kind to people and animals!

We boarded our 3 dogs for 10 days and they were well taken care of. We also brought 2 of our dogs there for obedience training which we were very happy with.

We recently had occasion to board our dog and wanted to check out this kennel before boarding him. Upon arrival we were informed we could not go inside to see the facility or check where our dog would be housed. A few days before boarding we left him there for a half day to see how he would adjust. Upon return to pick him up from day care we were greeted by a staff member with an immediate request for payment! No greeting or information on how he had settled in. Our gut instinct was not to board him here but we were limited in time.When we returned from vacation and picked up our dog his bed was urine stained and he had scratched up his bed liner to the point we had to replace the bed and carrier. When we got home, we had to bathe our dog as he also smelled of urine. Our dog has never urinated where he sleeps. We would not recommend this kennel.

Took my puppy to obedience school and the trainer was great! It was very informative and interactive. Also took my puppy their to get groomed and she looked, felt, and smelt amazing. I would highly recommend visiting Aintree Kennel!

Cant say enough about these folks. My dog absolutely loves the staff and they treat him like a friend.He goes insane every time i tell him we're going so i have to be careful about when i say it lol. They post a lot of Facebook pics so check em out and youll see them having a blast.Im about to get another german shepherd puppy and as soon as shes ready theres no other place I would take her. We've seen our share of not so great options (or even borderline nightmares). These guys are down to earth and you can feel like your dogs who are members of your family are also being treated like family.

We started with puppy training at Aintree and progressed to once per week daycare. The training was helpful to us, as this is our first dog. We love the place because my dog is always happy to go and comes home exhausted from his play. We have had shampooing and nail service there too. Staff is friendly and we can tell they love the dogs. Keep up the good work!

My wife and I went away on short notice twice now and Both times we used Aintree for our kenneling needs. The staff were wonderful and extra accommodating as we got down for the closing wire and they did a Mobile checkout and a drive by loading of the dogs into our car so we could get home and back to reality with as little headache as possible!Highly recommend!

We love Aintree! When we moved to Boxford and were looking for a new daycare for our dog, I was very nervous bringing her to a new place. Aintree definitely exceeded our expectations. Our dog loved it and now we have a second dog that goes as well. We have boarded them and trained our puppy there and both were also great. Aintree's puppy class was much better than the class we did for our other dog. We are even doing a private lesson with Tara because she is such a good trainer. We feel so comfortable sending our dogs to Aintree and know they are loved and cared for just like at home.

I have been taking our dog, Hank, to Aintree for the past 5 months. He goes to doggy daycare 2-4 days a week and have boarded him there a few times. As new dog owners, we were very nervous at first. I had a lot of questions and concerns-the staff put me at ease immediately. All of the staff members at Aintree has been amazing!! Everyone is so friendly and you can tell that they really enjoy their jobs. I have complete confidence that Hank is in the best hands when he is there.

I couldn't have been happier with the training we recieved from Aintree Kennel! The class sizes were perfect, the content was exactly what we were looking for, and the teacher was amazing! Another bonus was that I was allowed to bring my child with me (many places allow 1 person). The trainer was very knowledgeable and attentive to both us and our dogs. If there was a question after class she never hesitated on staying to discuss. She also insisted that if during the week we had a question or issue to email her and she would get back to us. Her response was very quick. She clearly loves what she does and it shows! Highly reccommend! We also used their daycare services and were happy!

We had only boarded our lab one night over 6 years ago) in his 12.5 years and he was so anxious that he developed a terrible hot spot. Now that he is a senior with arthritis in his hips, I was so worried about needing to board him for 5 nights. He stayed in the senior section and we boarded our 3 yo lab with him (first time boarding for him). Our younger dog had play time with fellow younger dogs and our senior dog was walked with our younger dog. We had them bathed and groomed before we picked them up and they both came home happy and healthy! The staff was great with responding to my emails checking on them and they posted pics on Facebook to reassure us they were ok. We will DEFINITELY be back and will be able to board the boys with no worries at all next time. We plan to bring the younger dog back for play time and will have them groomed there from now on. Absolutely love this kennel. If you love your cat or dog like family then this is the only place I would take them. We've used a number of kennels in the past, but Aintree is far and away better than any other. They are professional, caring, animal lovers. They provide a happy, healthy and enjoyable environment for your cat or dog. Our dog had a wonderful time there. He was walked, he spent some days in the doggie daycare playing with other dogs, and he received a lot of love from the staff. I don't feel guilty taking a trip now because I know he's going to be well cared for. Thank you Aintree!!!

We have never been away from our dog who is an anxious rescue. He stayed at Aintree for the weekend and did well. The staff was great!! Very friendly, clearly love dogs and extremely knowledgeable. They provided lots of options for dexters stay.I highly recommend Aintree and I am planning on using them for doggie daycare as well.

Absolutely love this place. Everyone there's is amazing. I have a one year old Boston terrier, that goes to daycare there 3 days a week. He's always so excited to go he knows when he's going, he waits at the door won't even eat breakfast. Luckily I can bring the food with me and they feed him.

Francine is amazing. My 120lb 4 year old dog and I just finished an hour private lesson and we both learned a lot. I am very happy with the outcome of our visit. She was great with both of us and we are now loyal customers for any boarding/training/grooming needs

This was my first time here, as my normal spot was booked solid. Both my dogs seemed to enjoy themselves and got report cards saying they were well behaved. The staff was very friendly. I like that they supply food (good quality food) and I didn't need to supply it. It's a little more expensive than some other places, but they seem to do a great job.

We love this place for boarding our dog. The people there seem like family together and appear to have a real good working relationship with each other and always let me know how he did. One girl always lights up when she sees him or when I ask if they have room for him while we're away on a trip, which shows they not only know their clients well, but the dogs and their personalities too. They're also great about giving him his meds, checking with me about details of them each time, and have a perfect system for checks & balances on ensuring that their given correctly, very professional.While I understand that this place changed owners sometime late 2017; the staff hasn't missed a beat -the same great people, quality, and personal touches. I've noticed the minor things, like their checkout credit card scanner had been upgraded. When I commented and questioned if the staff member using it liked it, she responded enthusiastically that it was so much better - which encourages me that this new owner is listening to his staff and is investing in the necessary upgrades where needed. Great Job & Great Place!!

Can’t say enough good things about this place! Everyone I met was beyond warm and welcoming and my puppy took to everyone so quickly. You can almost immediately tell how much they truly love what they do. And my pup looked even more adorable than I imagined he would after his groom! We definitely won’t be going anywhere else!

This is my 6th puppy kindergarten class over many years and by far the best. The instructor, Tara, is knowledgeable about breeds, typical age related behavior issues and solutions, has effective methods to train all puppies, while making the class fun and rewarding. I highly recommend Aintree Kennel training classes.

They took amazing care of our dogs. Lots of indoor and outdoor playtime. Socialization with other pups, Clean facilities with their own run instead of cages! Just awesome

Only wish they could also groom our Newfie while he boards there. Finally found out the real reason the groomer refuses is he pulled her up the stairs. This does not seem to be a problem with the other staff when we drop him off to board or pick him up. No other complaint really, just would love to find a boarding kennel he can be groomed at also.

Very friendly staff. I did a trial run for my dogs to get boarded as this is our first time. I also had both of them groomed and they came out wonderful. Will bring my dogs here again.

Horrible place. First timer and we will not be back. They charged me for food even tho I brought my own. Their pick up policy is horrible. Dog was there for 2 days and was charged for 3 because their policy states pick up by noon.. But they don't open until 3 on Sundays. My dog sat in a kennel all day and was walked once or twice for 10-15 min. They gave her a bath so she must have soiled herself. I can leave her in her crate at home for 8 hours and she will not have an accident. We just got home and my dog was FRANTIC to get inside the house, I figured she was just excited to get home, NOPE. She scarfed down an entire bowl of water. That still did not settle her so I figured I would take her outside.. She couldn't have to use the bathroom that badly she just left their kennel.. Instantly poops when was the last time she was even walked?I will never be back. They can keep the money they swindled out of me.

I have brought my pets here a few times. One of my dogs is extremely timid. I spoke to the manager on the phone about it and again in person, requesting that nobody try to pet her and get too close. The owner always sticks his hand right in my dogs face! I have told him directly to leave her alone and let her be. If she is interested in being your friend, she will come to you. But in the mean time, give her space.Even after I said this to him, he completely ignored me. He stared at my dog, smiled, blew kisses at her, amd stuck his hand in her face. If he knew anything about dogs, he would know that eye contact and showing your teeth are signs of a threat to dogs. Not every dog wants to be petted.I would also like to see the area where my dogs go, but they dont let people there.I may return if I cant find something better.Overall, so so.

I can't say enough good things about these folks. We send our English Bulldog here once a week and she never wants to leave! The people are great and it's a nice facility. Definitely a great business.

We have boarded our dogs here a couple times and they are wonderful. It's always a good feeling to leave your dogs somewhere you know they will be taken care of.
