Cashier was super nice and shelves are stocked with variety. My biggest problem is if you don’t look like you have money to shop there, they will send security to follow you. felt really uncomfortable and the store was really busy really felt targeted but It’s rare that companies value more saving money than make anyone comfortable so just a heads up. Walk in looking presentable n well dressed to steal n they won’t even peep an eye at you

walked in here to get my birthday cake today and security was at every corner i turned. felt so uncomfortable. acted like he was being payed to profile customers. another employee didn’t even greet me at the check out but promptly checked the register after i checked out… disgusting behavior. will never give a dime of my hard earned money this establishment.

I actually wasn't sure I would post this....until I came here and saw some other reviews. Thank you to those reviewers because I thought it might be me. There's clearly a problem here.I was followed, given very "hard" aggressive looks, and blatantly looked "up and down" as if under inspection by an unprofessional looking "guard" wearing a hoodie. After it happened again during a second visit I approached the manager who apparently learned in management training that it's better to debate and try to "talk over" customers telling you about problems, than it is to shut up and listen to what they're telling you. I was given a condescending and dismissive lecture about why my backpack may have attracted the guard's attention. I was wearing the backpack and it was not open. I was carrying a store basket with my items was out in the open and not doing anything that would indicate attempts to shoplift. The "manager" said that it's a security company they hire, as if to imply they have no control over the "guards." Well, actually WF does have control over which company they contract with. And if contract employees are not acting professionally they can be replaced with others. Any manager that doesn't know these things needs more training, along with the security guards. Similarly, any manager that is dismissive of customers concerns isn't worth their salt.As a lifelong criminal justice professional I don't need the lectures or someone pissing in my ear. Your "guards" need to look for behaviors and indicators of potential theft, and should not be profiling based on appearances. And they need to act professionally....not like someone looking to pick a fight or repo a car. While these "guards" are following people around based on appearances the real thieves are have free reign.Your managers need to LISTEN to customers more than they speak and practice customer service. They should also know that their job is to manage THE STORE and NOT the customers. I get the need for loss prevention better than most. But loss prevention in a retail setting also relies heavily on a customer-service centered philosophy.I spend literally thousands in Whole Foods each year with an Amazon Prime visa. But I don't "need" Whole Foods and if you can't provide good customer service, I'll be spending a whole lot more time shopping at Market Basket and Star Market going forward, both of which are far cheaper.

Prunes were on my shopping list.Unfortunately,none were proffered.Nice cashiers broke a one dollar bill to feed the parking meter. Scored Sweet potatoes . Long time ,many years pasted and noticed item layouts and product changes. Great experience.

i've been living here 17 yearsssss & the way the security watches me through that store is beyonddd UNACCEPTABLE! The last time it happened I stopped shopping and watched HIM! I don't need to STEAL & if i wanted too it wouldn't be from HERE!!! Next time won't be so peaceful because i'm complaining to TOP management next! Mind you i have NEVERRR in my life stole a damn thing. First my anxiety is outta wack and karma is REAL. Next time i should actually take a picture and post him!UPDATE: I went yesterday they have two new ones doing the EXACT same thing. One was so close behind me to the point I just stopped shopping and stood there ! THIS is SAD! it really is. Mind you everyone knows me, im a store regular. The meat/seafood department is always pleasant and nice. Fatima is awesomee she loves my dog and knows my family as we speak another language but NOBODY knew I was related because i'm quiet and stay to myself. So to be watched and followed around the store is BIZARRE. I don't always looks the same because i'm BLACK! But my elderly aunt who been a resident over 30 plus years they think she's WHITE so they don't watch her, but they sure watch my pregnant black self smh! And even worse when my gay daughter goes in there they follow her too! It's DISGUSTING! And reaching out is going to do what exactly? Last time I complained nothing changed. So now it's time to build my case....

Jarmaal was super helpful. I need some ground chuck for a birthday burger and he ground it fresh for me. The whole meat department was so gracious and professional. Great Whole Foods, the vibes are good.

I I'm disabled in a wheelchair. In the past I've had a good experience with whole foods because I live in this area. However recently I've experienced one of the cashiers who did not want to help me with payment. I have a high level spinal cord injury and the cashier treated me as though I had the bubonic plague. It is obvious to everyone that I have a disability by looking at me. But I felt terrible upon leaving the store. I also shop at nearby Star market in which I'm never treated that way. I say shopper beware if you have a disability.

Constantly out of product, online ordering is absolutely infuriating, item in the store are not available online and whats online is not in the store, terrible judgment calls in replacement items. Too many staff members are rude and childish. There’s often expired items on the shelf. I’ve lived in this area for about 13 years and in the past 3-4 year the store has gotten significantly worst! Definitely get profile almost every time I shop, god forbid I dress down. Mostly at self check out and it is always so obvious. Two young associates would stop what they are doing and come in plane eyes view of me when I’m checking out. It’s super offensive so I try to only use self check out if it is absolutely necessary.

Great store. If you appreciate wholesome, organic foods, it's where you need to be. I'm used to the wf in South End, so this one is a bit smaller, certainly also as compared to your typical us supermarket but it should have everything one needs, and in an organic version, too.

Really great market with a fully stocked buffet section! Incredibly friendly staff that were eager and willing to help us find what we needed. They really maximize the space that they have with great seating inside and out and the cafe is especially friendly and helpful. (Thank you for filling my three year olds milk cup up). This place was perfect for us while travelling and staying at a hotel with no fridge in the room. It was easy to walk here and get what we needed to get us through each day. Clean and friendly, I would highly recommend.

Finally a place I can buy bulletproof coffee during the weekend! :) I just recently found out that Whole Foods offers bulletproof coffee in addition to the cold brew packed version. Nice Whole Foods store and friendly staff.

Too many junkies loitering around, disturbing the peace, shoplifting, and picking fights with everyone and hogging up the restrooms just to use heroin and pass-out! 😑One of those junkies nearly stabbed an elderly manager to death! 😬 Even outside the store, a bunch junkies pick fights with innocent shoppers and pedestrians! 🤬🤬I’m so upset that the security guards still don’t carry firearms or use physical force to keep them all out! So until this place is ever a safe environment, I’m NEVER coming back there again!

The cons are that it is expensive, often busy, and there aren't many cashiers. That being said - most stores don't have many cashiers nowadays. The pros are that this Whole Foods is efficient, always well stocked for how much foot traffic it gets, every employee I've interacted with has been helpful, and quality of the food is fantastic. I live near and have been to this Whole Foods at least 100x. They have many items on sale at any time so if you scan your Prime membership you can save quite a bit of money!

As much as I love Whole Foods, they’ve proven to be everything those articles said they were. Not one location is exempt. As of lately, the people are not the only ones feeling disrespected going into their stores, but the food vendors must be tired too. All I’n a say is, I’d rather go to another supermarket.

I only came in here to find a bathroom. After walking around for a minute, I couldn't find it.. so I gave up. Then I saw it through the window after I left. I didn't go back in.. seemed like they had some good fresh products tho

Some Food was a little pricey but nevertheless one of the best vegan friendly food stores ever!!! The staff was very helpful and they still had food that had reasonable prices...But other than that,this is by far one of the best vegan and pro-vegetarian stores ever experienced!!! 2 thumbs-up!!!

So the cookies right at the register they are selling are awful!! I can’t believe they sell them. The cookie was overly salty and dry. I was really looking forward to a delicious overpriced cookie for lunch, but it ended up ruining my lunch. Please get rid of those cookies Whole Foods!
