Last Saturday in the morning I brought in a prescription. I even showed them my insurance card. I was told that the medication was delayed because they didn’t have it. OK that’s fine. Great. A week later this Friday night I called they said oh we have it but they don’t have my insurance card, now I gave them my insurance card on Saturday prior and no one thought to call or call the insurance company to get the correct Card. So then I ended up coming into the store. They couldn’t key it in figure it out, but they told me to call my insurance company. Why couldn’t they have called? You know because the insurance company can tell you what to key in themselves. So I called the insurance company and I was like OK I will pick it up Sunday. When I call to give them my insurance information again oh we are getting an error. Call your insurance company on Monday because they’re closed. My insurance company was not closed. Again, Why didn’t they call them to help me with this issue? I know they’re lazy back home I wouldn’t have had this issue. They call insurances and figure it out. Then he proceeded to tell me that they gave my sons medication to someone else. Now they say I needed my insurance so they can re-order it. So I called my insurance company yet again and Walgreens called me back. Now, with my insurance on three-way on this call, Walgreens now tells Me that they can’t process my prescriptions because it’s for a controlled substance from Tennessee. So you mean to tell me they didn’t inform me this a week ago My time wasted. I wish I can do a review on Boston and their stupid medical laws in general. There should be no reason when a doctor from any state prescribes a medication a patient can’t get it. This could of been a life threatening situation.

This Walgreens location often closes an hour earlier then it states in the website and on the store sign itself. That security guard wouldn't let me come in just to use the atm when there was 5 minutes left till 9pm. Although according to the website it closes at 10! Weird

Came to Walgreens for tissue and they have the door locked and it’s only 10:30. They are choosing who to let in and it’s crazy either stay open the times listed or close early

Clean store, the staff are not too friendly or helpful, but the cashiers are an exception. The cashiers are usually nice. The store can be cluttered, making finding items difficult sometimes.

The older lady that works there in the morning is the only good thing about this store. Aside from the occasional sales and paper goods. This store is trash.

I've been going to this location for years and since the pandemic it has gone to sh*ts! They never have any prescriptions I or my family needs. It takes days to fill or I have to move the script to another location. It's really annoying especially when it's something that is painful like conjunctivitis or pain after surgery

Please create a working phone line for doctors and other providers to reach the pharmacists. Waited for 45 minutes and then was hung up on before reaching anyone.

The aisles are always cluttered with tubs of merchandise. The pharmacy never has an order ready on time. When you tell them that they called you to say it's ready, they look at you dumbfounded. After waited 30 minutes when they said it would take 15 to get my refill, an employee (who wasn't there at first) asked me why I was waiting. She then had to chide the pharmacist for not giving me my refill that was ready 25 minutes prior. After this final experience, I chose to go to another Walgreens for my medication.

The worst store in all of Massachusetts the manager that worked on Christmas Day was the Nastiest Man ever perfect example of why people come back there to harm someone 😡 very aggressive not a great look for the store

I walked into this location to utilize the FedEx drop off service. I was struggling to find a location. When I walked in I was greeted by Dean, the store manager. Dean went above and beyond to help me, including allowing me to use their printing machine for a label, which I failed to provide. Dean’s customer service was exceptional. I acknowledge there are many times it’s hard to maintain a positive attitude in low paying jobs, but Dean went above and beyond and deserves to be recognized.

Took the better part of 2 weeks to order a prescription for me. I just tried calling to see if it was finally in and was on hold for, no exaggeration, 60 minutes as I drove from out of state before I finally hung up. When I got there, the phone was ringing for 15 minutes and none of the 3 people there answered it.This store is also frequently out of a ton of items. My last visit, I got only got 1 of the 4 things I came for and had to go to a different store.

Today on a Monday the phone service was unsatisfactory. The system seemed to be overworked and after holding for more than 30 min the only notification was that there were more than three people in front of me in the waiting line. When I tried to bring this situation to the attention of the store manager, I was again put on hold with only the repeating message that all our staff are helping other customers. Someone will be with you soon.” Twice, when I finally spoke to someone to ask them to contact my prescription provider to have my prescription transferred to this store, they never did. Tomorrow I am going to another pharmacy.

Rude and disrespectful employees. After informing the associates that the online price of an item on their own website was significantly cheaper, they were unwilling to price match until I showed them the Walgreens policy on price matching. Even then the manager was still dismissive. I won’t be going back to this location.

Don't even waste your time coming here. Also, if you're a senior citizen that needs their meds mailed to them, this spot cannot help you. Their machine doesn't work, so whatever method of payment you use for that won't go through on their system.Close this place down and put something totally different there. I'm highly disappointed!

This place has a consistent reputation for consistently lacking in professionalism. At least four times, I arrived and the store was closed early, without explanation. The latest time, staff and security were inside and refused to open the door! This is despite the fact that this branch has returned to normal hours and is supposed to close at 11pm. Tonight, I had an emergency and needed health supplies, and arrived at 10:38pm and the store was locked up. That would have been considered an isolated incident except a few weeks ago I came around 8:30pm and it was closed! It's bad enough that items are frequently under-stocked, boxes are left in the aisles, the management is rarely available, and the security guards are often slouching around. Why do we have to get this kind of service, just because it's considered "the hood?" This is what systemic racism and classism looks like, playing out in practice on a regular basis. This neighborhood deserves better.

Unprofessional, rude employees, bad customer service, that Walgreens should be close or need to higher new people that's know what is customer service and how to treat elderly and kids. Walgreens is a one of the big store it should be more organized and helpful to people. When I first came here to get a COVID booster, the person behind the counter shouted back to her coworkers, "can you ****ing believe it, we've got another one"! I asked if it's a problem that I was there, and was told yes because people wanting boosters are coming in too often. The level of rudeness was shocking, even for Boston. I unfortunately had to come back and get my vaccine card filled out because I had previously forgot it, and the same person was behind the counter, and she told me that they accidentally gave me a flu shot last time I was in. I was shocked, and appalled. Then after having another employee confirm, it turns out that they did give me the booster. But did they? I have zero trust in this pharmacy. Avoid at all costs.

Was in Dedham, MA working and I needed to make a stop for some milk & print 4 Documents and Boston was the only location open at night. It says it’s open until 11pm and I got there at 10:45pm and they said they were closed and did not let me in. Fix your hours. Time wasted after work and I have to drive back to NH. Would have been in and out in 4min..

DO NOT COME!! Worst pharmacy I’ve been to. By far. I was on the train for 1 hour to get a Covid test since this location was the only one that had availability. I couldn’t even take the test and was turned away for not having a car, even though a “bike” would work. I TRIED calling ahead to make sure it was okay (like their email says), but the automated caller makes it IMPOSSIBLE to find out anything. Nobody else was even there and I even tried walking through the drive thru UGH. Such a waste of 3 hours of my Saturday.

I determine which drug store, grocery store, bank, etc. I am going to patronize base on the one in my neighborhood. Because of this I cannot shop at Walgreens.This store has stained floors, stained ceiling tiles, empty shelves, many untrained employees (this reflects management more than the employee) and looooong wait time in line (with only two people line).Between the neighborhood I work in and the towns I frequent for whatever reason, I am always near a well kept Walgreens. The discrepancy between those and the one in my neighborhood is a disgrace.

I was told my kids prescription would be in "tomorrow" and then it wasn't- they said i should "try back next week." INEPT AND UNCARING PHARMACY STAFF. They refuse to pick up the phone- even for doctors and insurance companies. Ghetto and unstocked store. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Unfortunately, this store has absolute BAD customer service and it includes everyone from the associates to the security personnel. I would never ever set foot in this store again, as I would rather drive to an area on the outskirts of Boston. In fact, I would rather deal with CVS. I am not in the habit of keeping these types of people employed.
