Amazing staff. I visited for the first time today and the entire team was so helpful. I’m getting my first dog ever next week and they spent endless time with me giving me tips, suggestions and helping me choose the best products. Seriously some of the best quality customer service I’ve seen in a while. Jess and Mark are especially awesome, who I spent the most time with. It’s the only place I’ll go back to for my pet needs - and training needs which I start next week! :)

They were not wearing a mask and wow! They are so rude!I was looking around to find something for my friend’s dog. I am not very familiar with pet stuff, so I was trying to figure what to buy for her. First a girl rushed to me asking if I needed help. I said thanks and just looking. Then the short guy who is like a boss or something came around and asked like 5 times if I find everything ok, strangely staring. What is wrong with you people? To crown it all, unfriendly cashiers as well but I can’t blame them if that guy is their boss. Anyway, I bought a cheap dog toy and left. Was planning to buy a nice collar and some treats and toys and make a gift basket but I wouldn’t spend more with that much disrespect. Most of the items are overpriced, by the way. Much cheaper online. Pet stores must be friendly. My free tip for you as a project manager: be friendly and respect your customers. You are just a pet store not Tiffany! Maybe they were mad at me because I was wearing a mask! Horrible behavior! I am surprised a man of that age has never learned basic courtesy. He was also nicer to anyone who looked Irish.

Their staff are nice and friendly and would help you with any questions you. I recently recused and kitten and I was able to buy everything I need to give my kitten the best life I can give him. The location is amazing is near so many other stores and restaurants that you can go an brag a quick bite if your hungry.

For a Petco store...the outside was inviting and Covid signs were clear...very nice! Inside was cluttered and the layout a bit crowded to begin with. One employee was very helpful. However for the most part, it was more employees more avoiding people than helping. Kind of dingy inside as well. The store was well stocked for a smaller store toys, food, beds, and more!

I never take the time to write reviews but I had to for this store.I just want to point out India is the absolute best! I can't even put in to words how wonderful she is!I really hope that Petco gives her the appreciation and praise she deserves for her excellent customer service she provides for your company. We seriously need more people like India in the world. She went above and beyond for me and my new puppy. I was in a rush and she helped me with getting everything I need. I was in and out within 10-15 mins tops all thanks to her.She won us over! I will be making this my main Petco store for my pup all due to her. I also want to mention Alice she was a delight as well.

I came in to purchase a calming plugin for our cats. The Petco website listed the product price as $34.99, but it was marked as $59.99 in store. Instead of honoring the price match guarantee, the staff member refused to give us the lower price. The only way to get the product for the lower listed price was to order it online and then stand around and wait for it to come through his system. I love Unleashed and Petco, (in fact, I just gave the Charlestown location five stars because they're great), but if I can help it, I will be avoiding the Washington St address from now on.

This is a great place to bring your dog and see the vast variety of pet food and accessories at discount prices. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. A great pet store to visit time after time!

What can I say, it's a pet shop.Wide variety for the limited space provided, all ranges of pricing and varieties for each typical house pet you would normally find in an upscale back bay household.

Conveniently located on the SL4/SL5 busking. Prices are high I see no difference between them and Petsmart (which in 2004 was cheaper than Petco). They put out 7-11 Convenience Store which sucks. This store is geared toward the rich yuppie/hipster dog owning crowd and for the rich dog enthusiast are conveniently located across from the Peter's Park Dog Run on Washington Street. I only get cat food when they have coupons or I run out and I happened to be in town and is faster to get to than Petsmart, Market Basket, or Pet Supplies plus. The staff is friendly it is a shame that due to the size of the store their inventory is limited compared to say Arlington's location.

For STARTERS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY IS THIS PHOTO NOT OF UNLEASHED?? BUT IT IS OF THE WINERY!!!!! That location is JUST GREAT FOR THE PETS, IT IS CLEAN, THE TRAINING FOR THE DOGS? IS GREAT!!! I AM SO HAPPY THAT THEY ARE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD.

Full of supplies that you need for your pets. If they are out of stock they will let you know when they will get some more. Also they have a friendly staff who will help you with your needs.

Very nice altho they dont have animals to sell they sure have alot of food and toys for them. The employees was very helpful with showing me the closest petco that actually sells animals very helpful and nice btw
