It’s really a very, very small Trader Joe’s in downtown Boston!!! The mall is located in the basement and is full of people. You have to queue up whether you are selecting products or checking out, and sometimes you can't even find the end of the queue. The store employees are very enthusiastic and willing to provide assistance.

This Trader Joe’s is so tiny it can be frustrating to shop here on a busy day (at which there will be a line out the door). Also tough to navigate in the store given the size. And, if you’re not familiar with Trader Joe’s, there’s a trade off of variety for really good pricing and well sourced products. I love all Trader Joe’s food and love the options, especially for vegetarians, so continue to go here, but be warned if it’s a busy day.

Not an ideal space for a Trader Joe’s. Extremely tight and the line runs through the whole store. Not very good environment for shopping. But the staff is super friendly and very helpful. Produce are usually well organized and of good quality.

I will always have positive things to say about Trader Joe's. No matter what city or state I visit a Trader Joe's, I am never disappointed. The store is always well stocked, customer service excellent and they always have the same items in pretty much the same area in every store. The prices are really reasonable for their regular as well as organic products. Fruits and vegetables always fresh and lots of premade food items.Checkout always fast and smooth and employees are so grateful and friendly.

I go to this Trader Joe's every week. They offer a lot more flavor selection ( TJ Alfredo sauce, Elote chips, dark chocolate, cookies, spices, and gluten-free waffles) than their more expensive competitors. Very pleased!

Maybe since it’s right after the holidays but they did not have a lot of things in stock. It felt like going into a basement. The escalator did not work going down. The flowers looked semi dead. There was some aisles fully stocked but others pretty barren. Could be better!

This is a small but very well organized and clean trader Joe's across the street from the convention center in back bay part of Boston. Everyone is very nice lots of young people and singles....i was able to source almost everything I wanted and picked up some really delicious Mochi as well. This is a great little place. I really enjoyed the vibe and layout...fresh veggies and fruit WELL PRICED... everyone who worked there was super nice... Wish I had something like this in my neighborhood!

Although this Trader Joe's is pretty small, it always has exactly what I'm looking for. Great location for walking or public transit, but not so much for parking.

I love this Trader Joe’s. To be honest, the people are the great. It’s just always missing something I neeeeeeeeeeed. Like the mild pico de gallo, lol. You have to shop this location in the morning or be doomed. And I will say the chicken breast didn’t look all that great, but they were stocking. No shame to them. Ultimately, I got what I need as I usually do there.

Was wondering how they can fit a Trader’s Joe in the middle of downtown and we soon understand why when we see the welcome sign. But don’t let that full you, it is the cutest and smallest Trader’s Joe in the universe packed with lots of love. I was able to find almost everything I wanted to bring home back to Canada here so if you are in the area and don’t have access to a car, do try your luck here for your TJ haul!

Escalator STILL broken (now on both sides) after 5 months. Their disability elevator is also broken often. They clearly have no regard for their disabled customers. I will shop elsewhere.Nice staff. Has basic stuff, expensive, but more accessible than Whole Foods. Escalator (only way in/out) has been broken for over a month, with no signs of them fixing it. Difficult for disabled patrons to come in/out, as their disability elevator takes ages to work.

Only a sign to show that this store exists. Immediately upon entering, you realize that it is a downstairs business. Often crowded, but the staff are always friendly and helpful. Also, this place is surprisingly inexpensive.

My first ever time in a Trader Joe’s and it did not disappoint! Lots to choose from and the peanut butter stuffed pretzels were divine - wish they had this in the UK.

Although the space may appear small at first glance, I, being 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 230 pounds, am able to navigate through it with some care as long as I avoid the rush hours, Saturday for sure. I am always pleased to see a good variety of items available, and the staff is kind and helpful. After a long day at the hospital, the staff's friendly demeanor adds a touch of warmth without being overwhelming. Instead of going to the larger Trader Js stores, I prefer to shop at this location. It's a hidden gem for unique spices and blends, featuring most of the products found in larger stores, but with slightly less quantity. Additionally, it's a great spot for people-watching, as families, students, doctors, and politicians can all be found here at some point during the week. Mr. Jeff approves

The most space efficient business in the back bay. Easily the best prices for food and they can deal with a line around the store in minutes while restocking.

At least at one point, the smallest Trader Joe's location. Convenient and totally normal prices, which are especially valuable in the Copley Square area.

This is a small Trader Joes. When I visited it was late at night and stock was low. I did not see any eggs. Very little bread. The store is not clean, the produce is not good.

The line for check-out seemed very long, but it moved quite quickly -- I had to wait there for 5 minutes.Good products for good prices.

I love this Traders. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Has a great stock of everything (but no wine). I wouldn't suggest coming on a Sunday or Monday night - crazy long line BUT surprisingly goes extremely fast.

Super cute Trader Joe's located right across of the Hynes Convention Center. They are able to stock quite a bit into this small space. It is the smallest Trader Joe's and so this is not the best place for bulk shopping. However, they do have a lot of the popular items that I like to pick up to share with friends. (Unfortunately, there is no Trader Joe's where I live. 😥)Just be aware that the space is tighter than other Trader Joe's, but patrons were good about maneuvering around politely.

Small but mighty! We happened by this TJs while on a weekend break in Boston and found everything we love to get from TJs in a socially distanced, well organized, well stocked store. Although the checkout line was at least 20 deep i dont think we waited more than 5-10 minutes. We'd recommend this store as much as any of the others.

Pretty big selection of items for how small the store is. Much more cramped than any other trader Joe's I've been too. The checkout line wraps around the store.

i went to this trader joes months ago but i still think about one of the positive interactions with one of the staff there. she (hopefully those are her pronouns) made my day so amazing and threw so many stickers in my grocery bag to bring me joy. she may have been a manager there but regardless, i have never stopped thinking about her kindness

Trader Joe's is always great - lots of quality food options. The one knock on this location is the lack of accessibility. There is a narrow escalator into the store which is too narrow and unsafe for strollers, but the elevator is only for wheelchairs. With a sleeping baby it's not possible to enter despite the associate's offer to carry the stroller down.

Kind of a neat location for a trader joes. They're located effectively in a basement and you see a neat mural when you take the escalator down. The selection of the store is very varied despite being rather small. The store is well lit and even open at night. Items are reasonably priced, and I would come again.

The fruits and vegetables are terrible quality. I had some grapes before realizing they were moldy and now I have food poisoning.

Is the location small? Yea. Does it matter? Absolutely not. This is BY FAAAARRRR the cheapest groceries you will get in the entire city and the quality is still better than most places. Always friendly cashiers as well, it definitely can get busy on weekends and after work hours though so just plan your trip accordingly.
