I did not have the time to stroll through the whole department store, only briefly through the grocery section. The grocery section was generally clean, tidy and quite spacious but food selection was not really impressive as Star Market opposite the street. I would only recommend to come here if you need to shop for other category / suppliesto save some time.

This is what traditional retail looks like as it’s about to die. They have shut off self checkout without hiring enough cashiers to handle the additional transactions. Huge lines form as their underpaid and under inspired staff have to handle excessive work.Walking the aisles everything of any value is locked up so you have to press a button, wait five minutes for an employee to stumble to you and then unlock my hemorrhoid cream for me. With some of the lesser value items like a kitchen sponge I needed they were scattered on the shelf at 6 different spots at 6 different prices. This Target looks more like a Kmart that is having a going out of business sale.The cherry on top of this depressing late capitalist failure is that on my way out a security guard followed me to the register. Maybe because I had a backpack with me to carry my items home? They sure were on top of my $22.50 purchase enough to really save the day if needed. As I loaded my items onto the conveyor belt I made eye contact with them and they ran away.This is the final day I ever step foot in a Target.

Great selection, clean store, literally never has a checkout open. It's all fine until I have to buy a cart full of stuff and wait half an hour to start checking out.

The moment I walked in to this Target. It was the target matrix copy and paste “the boston fall girl aesthetic” on a mission to buy the good 😎Store was 3/5 clean and the variety of brands wasn’t much due to low stockService was 3/5 they responded when you push the sensor to unlock something but other then that no ones around to help.

Went there to buy a TV. Told gentleman wanted a certain set , was told to go guest services . Went there and waited no TV showed up . Going to Best Buy to buy . Bizarrely disorganized systemInsult to injury the self check out area had returns and garbage everywhere

Clean store, good size, just lacking in inventory compared to other targets or department stores. Might be due to its location and the fact that this target is always busy. Still has everything you need.Everything is locked up and you need to ring an employee to get basic necessities (toothpaste, shampoo, underwear) but usually they come within a minute so its not a huge deal. Probably a lot of theft happens in this store.

I always have a positive experience when shopping at the Target in the Fenway, the staff is truly interested to assist with question and will ask another employee to help if they do not know the answer. The prices are competitive, and their return policy is fair and effortless. It is a tough gig working with the public, but the Target employees are always very welcoming and friendly.

Definitely a cool factor for target. I'm not a target fan but this one is definitely awesome. They have all the boston gear as well for reasonable prices. Definitely worth going to for cool factor.

This is the worst target I’ve been to. I was looking for an item that I saw on the website and I couldn’t find the isle it’s in I asked multiple workers they only pointed me towards the direction so I continued Getting lost. When I finally found the isle the item was not there even though multiple workers insured me they had it in stock. I was looking for over an hour and asked 6 different workers for help and non of them cared.

So great to have such a well stocked, convenient store downtown. The employees are helpful and I can order online for pickup or just shop as usual. Such a great resource when you need things right away.

It's an inner-city store so bear that in mind when visiting. The layout is spread over multiple floors but there are escalators and elevators for shoppers to use as well as shopping cart escalators. If you're looking to be in and out quickly then you may want to go elsewhere because items such as personal care, backpacks, electronics, etc. are all under lock and key and you'll have to wait for an associate to open the case, but otherwise it's a clean and conveniently located store.

Manager at the self checkout whos name I couldn’t get needs to find another job. Rude and very impatient. I guess places are desperate to hire anyone that they are handing out these positions with no care in the world. Will now be taking my trips to the target on Commonwealth which is way smaller but employees are nicer .

This is a great location for a TARGET right near Fenway Park and the college kids totally DESTROY this place when it comes to moving back into school for the school season. You name it, this TARGET is great for food, clothes, T.V.s, pillows, etc. GREAT STORE!

Honestly the worst target location and you have to pay for parking too. The garage sucks and is confusing. You’re better off driving the extra 10 mins to the dorchester location. This one never has anything in stock.

Many isles of the store have all their products locked And they almost never have any staff around to open them for us. People have to wait 20 or 30 minutes for someone to come by, and even then you have to chase them down before they hide in the back.

The Rep who works in the alcohol dept completely ignored me several times when he clearly saw I needed help. He was inconsiderate, rude and unprofessional. He has no customer service skills at all. What Made me 😠 was that he kept looking at me as if I owed him something. I could tell that he hates his job! This happened on 12/22/23 in the morning

Would give no stars if possible. They accuse people of shoplifting while still in the store before being able to pay??? The managers here clearly need some help if they can accuse young college students for things they simply have not done. Definitely suggest people to be cautious if you go here since the workers and security may not be all there in the head.

It’s probably the cleanest Target I’ve been in around the country! Though, the men’s single dressing room is also the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. It’s pretty neat how much Boston sports team apparel they have in stock, at pretty reasonable prices. The proximity to great food and coffee shops is a plus. At an organizational level, though, I just wish they stocked better men’s clothing and shoes: that Goodfellows brand is atrocious, with ill-fitting workout tops, overpriced and low-quality business casual wear, and the lowest quality, stiffest, most poorly-designed dress shoes you can imagine. Target used to be amazing, but not anymore. This store in particular is still fun to stop by and waste some time.

I got covid and it wouldn’t let me extend my pickup date on my pickup order because I already had done it (I even called corportate guest relations to ask for ONE extra day and they wouldn’t). I tried calling store multiple times and they would never answer the phone. I sent my friend with pickup barcode to get the order and even listed her as an alternative pickup person on my order so there were no issues. She goes and they won’t let her get the order. I try calling store several times again and no answer by any department. HORRIBLE service and horrible you can’t get through to any extensions listed on their website phone number. Absolute joke. I will be asking to talk to management next time I am in there.

Horrible ridiculous long line with only 1 register open and workers just walking around…when do you get to the point of caring and opening up another register!? This service makes you want to leave all the things you shopped for and go someplace else.

The worst Target I know. Crazy markups compared to all other Targets. Terrible, rude customer service, physically blocking off paths with products, and locks up a huge number of products while totally ignoring requests to access those products. Usually good selection. Not worth it anymore.

Consistently understaffed and understocked, really seem to handle the influx of college student at certain times throughout year. Come on a slow day and you are fine, but stay away otherwise - unless you want to wait 30min in checkout line. Frustrating because location is huge and in a great location!

TooK Uber to this Target to buy Binocular. I was told they have 2 in stock. Got there and they have none. Horible inventory. Waste of time.. See pictures below

Stopped in to get some things for a college move in. The checkout woman at register #6 at 1:12pm Friday 9/1/23 was being VERY brusque. I offered to help her bag our items only to have her snap at me that she’d do it. Then when we got to our destination we found that two of the items that were charged to our receipt were not in our bags. Tried calling customer service desk 10 times over the next hour only to be disconnected repeatedly. I usually enjoy shopping at Target but recommend all shoppers pass on this location unless you’re totally desperate. Not to mention the store was a zoo and a real mess with empty shelves and random items all around. The management team needs to be better prepared for back to school and tell grit team members customer service IS important.

Worse target ever avoid at all cost terrible management no inventory planning they were out of everything including hangers which is basically what I came for. No planning for extra cashiers on busy days this is the Line that went almost to the back of the store. i just rented a zip car and paid $8 parking wandering around the store to find they were out of almost everything I came for and standing in this line to checkout.No thank you. I won't do that again. Hopefully you can read this and save yourself.

This target has locked up all personal products (shampoo, deodorant, etc) behind clear cabinets. I understand this is a target in a metro area however it’s clear they don’t have the infrastructure to support this as there are no employees present to open the locked cabinets for you if you need to purchase something. I waiting nearly 15 minutes just to grab some razors

The busiest target I've ever been too but they get you moving FAST! Overall a solid experience, nice people, clean, organized, easy to navigate. 8.78/10 target experience!
