Great location to shop at if you’re close to or on Boston University campus. The store at times, is low on certain products, possibly due to popularity of them. But great location for grabbing snacks if visiting the area or colleges. It is also very close to the Boston University bookstore, where you can get all kinds of University swag merchandise.

As a BU student, I frequent this Target for dorm room essentials, groceries, snacks, etc. However, during the beginning of the school year, certain dorm room essentials tend to sell out, so it's wise to plan and prepare accordingly.

My experience at this city target was exceptional! The staff were very helpful, and Xander at the check out counter was very polite and went above and beyond to help me. I had a few heavy items, and he double bagged them and evenly distributed the weight so they would be easier to carry home. he was very polite and kind! Thank you to xander and the target team.

Over the last few months this location has locked everything behind glass, so a quick errand to get basic items becomes a half-hour ordeal while you wait someone from the overworked staff to chaperone your shopping. I’m sympathetic to concerns about shoplifting, but waiting 30 minutes for a staffer to unlock a $3 item is ridiculous

The morning staff is the WORST! They always have an unnecessary attitude, they act like you’re bothering them if you approach them for anything. Literally THE WORST. If it’s too early or they just don’t like people then they should just get another job.

Security needs to do better in this store. This happened a few weeks ago but this has to be addressed.I’ve lived in the area for 2 years now and I’m on foot meaning I don’t have a car. So I can’t do my shopping all at once. I get my groceries/products as needed with multiple trips and I’ve spent a lot of money at this target over the years. Anyways one day I was walking around looking at toiletries while on the phone and I could tell the security was watching me very closely. I’m a woman of color so this is not something I’m not used to by now.What I want to make known is that I know when I’m being watchedand why. Unfortunately it’s too convenient to go to this target because of where I live so I will keep going. But I just wanted to send the message that if I get followed again I will confront this security person and take legal action if I have to. :) trust me, I know how loss prevention works. I’ve worked in retail in the past.

Everything is locked up so a quick 10 minute trip takes half an hour while I wait for an employee to come to a section and then unlock the $7 item I need.I get theft is high but you are too focused on theft and not enough on customer experience. The business majors sitting in corporate who have never worked inside a store before will run this company into the ground.I’ll just order my stuff online now, my time is more valuable to me than dealing with this store.

Had sour patch kids and kombucha. A lady dropped blueberries all over the floor. Glad it was blueberries as grapes would not have rolled so comically. 5 star experience.

the worst possible customer service, after confirming my order you kept making me change the pick up location, would not deliver the product, sent me on a wild goose chase to different stores assuring me the product was there when you hadn't even updated your inventory, this was the most frustrating experience and colossal waste of my time, and when I spoke to guest services about this they didn't even seem to care even though I was calm and polite while explaining this all to them while I was extremely frustrated. So disappointed in your service, next time don't accept orders if you cannot deliver and save your customers time/energy/money.

Feels cramped, especially compared to the Target just 1 mile away in Fenway. The selection also seemed more limited, but this might be a good place to stop in for the basics.I felt sort of uncomfortable with all of the employees standing around - two right by the door and another hovering by the self checkout about 10 ft away. I'm sure their intention was to be available to help (and the one at the checkout was offering 10% discounts), but in the small space I felt like I was constantly being watched. I'm sort of hoping this is a temporary setup since they just opened, but on the other hand, I don't even know where else the employees could stand.

Had problem with a gift card, never used it but it just won’t go through, so I went to the counter to see what’s wrong with it. The problem was not solved but at least Sabrina was being helpful and gave me a number to call.The another older Asian guy, who seems more like a manager(he was the one Sabrina call to the desk when she couldn’t figure out what’s wrong), just gave me this “not my problem” hand gesture and walked away.No wonder the store is so shabby, having this kind of person in charge.

Nice and convenient location for near by living. It’s a much smaller target than usual but still has all the necessities. Electronics and food. Fresh fruit and even home goods. Targeted to students for sure but very handy

This is a convenient mini-target with grocery store. It doesn't have everything a full supermarket would stock, but it has most of the frozen stuff and non-perishables. Definitely a great resource for BU students.

Target Express; this store is a mini version off the Target we all know and love, made for the students from surrounding campuses. Each section is about a fourth the size off the normal stores so slim pickings, but im a pinch, gets the job done! ✔ Staff was helpful and friendly!

Horrible customer experience. Prarking was hell. Waiting 10 mins to pick up an order? Yeah pass. They apologized for the wait but its too late. I called the attorney general and the Better Business Bureau. Target missed the mark.

A very small Target retail but very very thoughtfully selected items for students living in BU area. Excellent place with something for everyone. Amazingly, they have always had whatever I needed in daily needs!

This target is great if you are in a pinch and need to pick something up. However, they don’t have a dressing room! You would either have to buy the clothing to try it on in the bathroom or return items to a different store if they didn’t workout.

Target has reasonable prices and provides a good selection of products. Sometimes, some products will go out of stock with the ebb and flow of the local students. The staff is friendly and attentive.
