Dog probably had a blast, but I was not happy.They set me up with the right package (although there was an error in billing) for my dog, who was 14 weeks old. She got to play with other puppies and seemed happy and healthy upon return and in the photos.There is little transparency/communication with the clients, and their portal does not work— at all. There are no live-cams or way to see your dog other than asking for each photo, explicitly and sometimes multiple times. Kind of funnily, one of the toys I brought was returned in two pieces! I got no real “status report” or “report card.”Attached are three of the photos they sent me

Sarah, the dog groomer did amazing and did exactly what I had envisioned for my puppy’s first grooming! The receptionist was really kind also. Overall, staff is kind and the place is tidy and very welcoming. Will definitely be going back.

Red Dog has been very consistent in the treatment of my dog. They are very responsible when she needs medications. The way I know that Red Dog is a great place to leave my dog is because she comfortably goes with them when we arrive and when I pick her up she is totally herself, zero stress. That has not been the case at other boarding places. Have been leaving my dog at Red Dog for 3 years and I highly recommend for boarding. We don’t use their other services but expect based on the level of care that they do a good job in all their services.

Our dog, Chutney, has been coming here for about two years now and always comes back to us well taken care of by the staff and Presley who has been a fantastic groomer for us. She always does what’s best for our puppy and keeps her in great shape. She and the staff also kindly take Chutney in early or keep her late to accommodateour work schedules with pick up and drop off.Thanks Red Dog!!

I give the Red Dog Spa and Resort boarding services the highest possible recommendation. I regularly leave my elderly Chihuahua, Edward, sometimes for over two weeks at a time. I am confident that he feels comfortable and happy at the Red Dog because he does not tremble and walks himself to his room. Also, he allows the staff to touch him and most importantly to hold him in my presence despite typically rejecting contact with strangers. This is testament to the exceptional care he must receive from the staff. Edward recognizes places that he visits and if unhappy we would shake, bark and act aggressively towards the staff therefore in absence of any of those behaviors I feel confident and at ease leaving him at the Red Dog. I am very happy with the level of care and attention he receives and love that my Edward is recognized by the staff by just looking at him! When I travel, I am able to enjoy my time because I am certain (based on Edward’s known behavior) that he is well taken care of by the staff. I am grateful to have such amazing service available for my Edward.

I have been taking my energetic Goldendoodle to Red Dog Daycare since he was 10 weeks old (he is now 3.5), and from the moment we walked in the door, I knew he was in great hands.Karen and Jared are fantastic, and they're always available to answer any questions and put your mind at ease. They truly care for every dog under their watchful eye, and it shows in everything they do. The other staff at Red Dog Daycare also deserve a shoutout for their genuine love and affection for every dog that comes through their doors. If you’re hesitant about boarding, Red Dog is your place. our pup loves it. It’s reassuring when we see how excited and happy she is at drop off. She doesn’t even look back! Which puts our minds at ease. Staff are attentive, helpful and responsive. Tons of room options, great play, and a la carte. Go for it!

The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and rolled her eyes at me on more than one occasion. After involving the manager, the manager was beyond accommodating and friendly, but the front desk agent really soured my impression of the company. It was my first time using Red Dog, and I’m considering finding another boarding and daycare service

I have a difficult dog, but he’s my baby. They made me feel comfortable and confident in boarding my dog. When I called they answered all my questions and gave me updates on my boy. They said they were very proud of how well he did! Thank you from the Ross Family and Kal-El!

It can be difficult to find a safe and clean place to leave my dog. Red Dog was able to get us into the schedule, no problem. I like the a la carte choices... my dog does needs fetch every day, but does not need an ice cream break every day. Check in (our first visit) was excellent, very reassuring and accommodating. Communication was amazing during the stay and Red Dog even called with a question during his stay. I do wish that I had opted for a bath before pickup, but that's on me. :-)

I bring my cat to board at the Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa from time to time, and always have a great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I feel better knowing my girl is well taken care of when I'm away.

My baby girl Tippy is a high anxiety dog. So of course when we got to her vet appointment she was having a moment. The vet tech i forget his name, was absolutely amazing. Went above and beyond to make Tippy comfortable. Her vet Dr.Luke was great. He was very understanding, answered all of my questions. Even asked if I was ok being in the room while she got her shots. Even on our way home the vet tech seen us and how scared Tippy was and he stopped asked if she was ok. He was so sweet. He didn't have to he was off the clock. Appreciate everything and we look forward to seeing them again.

My 10 year old Westie spent 4 nights and came home healthy and happy. This was not always the case with other kennels. The hours for drop-off and pick-up are too limited (I could not pick-up Lovey until the day after I came home) but if I need kennel service in the future I will call Red Dog.

From the moment I walked in, until the moment I walked out, I was very happy and impressed with this facility. The professionalism, the quality of the grooming, the facilities themselves (Accupuncture! Swimming pool! Rehab! all on-site!) it just really is an A+ place to bring your furry family member and know that they will be safe and well looked after.

I got my dog groomed here, and while I liked the cut okay, the groom took 5 hours and the bill was $170 without tip. I was pretty floored since I've never even paid that much in New York. But they didn't give me a breakdown and insisted that's what they charge everyone and 5 hours is the time they need to groom a dog. For context, I have a non-matted doodle who has been getting groomed since he was 6 months old, so he is very used to them. I can't imagine what happened, and I wonder if they really charge everyone $170 for grooms since it's not listed on the site. This review is just to warn others who might be thinking of taking their dog there-- ask ahead of time what the charge will be!

Anyone that has ever boarded or knows how to board knows to immediately take the dog back regardless if they are thrashing or crying. The lobby is for the Pet Parents, the back is for the dogs. This place kept me and my dog out there doing exercises for 30 minutes because she’s reactive to strangers around ME. They forced me to upgrade to a patio room so they wouldn’t have to walk her. When I get there to pick her up, they bring me in the back where the dogs stay to get her. Also, could not help but notice the patio door was down. The first thing she did when she got outside was giant pee and the largest poo I have ever seen. I received no feedback on how she did during her stay. This place was so unprofessional and does not know how to manage all types of dogs. It’s just any other chain hiring whomever applies.

Whole grooming process was wonderful start to finish. Scheduling/check-in/pickup were great and Sarah was so thorough on the groom and did an absolutely wonderful job with my pup who was there for his first groom.

My little 5lb chihuahua PEPE flunked doggie day care 6 years ago and I was afraid to try again. He is very fear aggressive towards other dogs. But I moved and did not have as many friends and family around to help out on busy days and travel. The Red Dog staff make him feel safe and comfortable and he made it. He came home happy and tired from activity and new friends. And was invited back. So grateful.

The professional and responsive employees are the reason I repeatedly return to this facility which is a distance from my home. The facility is clean, well organized and appears to follow strict processes across the board. The 24 x7 staffed facility is also absolutely key. I have to say though that their endless list of add-ons and options makes me crazy!

Very off putting that they can't give any sort of quote on how much a grooming would be. I understand each dog is different but you should be able to give me a range. Makes it seem like you can charge an unlimited amount of money. Customers should have the opportunity to decide if they would like the services based on the pricing.

Over the weekend we used Red Dogs services in Boston Southampton and they are fantastic!I was beyond stressed and sad to leave my dog Weasley behind for the night, but the staff and cleanliness of the place really amazed me.I was blown away with their care, attention and standard of service. One employee by the name of Jared, made us feel reassured that our little boy was in the best of hands. He was kind, empathetic, and overall a wonderful employee.We were especially impressed with how attentive Jared was with providing us updates and photos of Weasleys time at the daycare. I would use Red Dog again in a heart beat! 10/10 recommend their amazing resort. Thank you again! We will be back!

After a 4 day stay at Red Dog my dog came home with an inch long gash on his head that was fully scabbed over. Not only was this not acknowledged by the staff but they seemed completely unaware about this when I called in to inquire about how this happened. Because of the amount of matting/dried blood it was difficult for us to see the severity of the wound until about a week later when his hair started to fall out.I called in to ask if there was any documentation of any incidents and was basically told to bring him in to have looked at.Sorry but this is the last time he will step on your premises.

The experience is very professional and efficient in the process. I will ask that it would be nice to address the emotional side of leaving one of your family members (dog) at this location. It would be nice to get a photo or note or text on how things are going? Emotions would be reduced if we were able to view or get an update on our dog’s experience.
