Love this place! Very organized, friendly staff both times I’ve been here, I live in California and make a point to visit this shop when in town! So many cool unique treats for your animal, love the options.

A lovely bakery for your dog! They have jars filled with baked pet friendly treats and lots of other goodies for your pets! When we visited the worker was giving samples to a dog and petting the dog/getting the dog to sit. It was really nice to see the coworkers love for a dog that wasn't hers. Also, they have a door with a bunch of photos of other pups who have visited before. Definitely a must stop in Boston to get your dog something too!

Very bright and friendly location with a great desire to be part of the local dog culture. My pup knows the route to the store and runs straight for the door!Ask about any treat they have and you'll get a great answer. Snag some "barky bark" (my dog's favorite). The attached pic is her chowing down on one, surrounded by treats (including a rawhide replacement made of rice) after sprinting 4 blocks home with it in her mouth.They have a rewards program that will even text you promotions (you can opt out if you want), too.

Awesome store with a TON of dog treats ranging from standard chews and bully sticks all the way up to things like Woofles (pictured). They also have organic dog and cat food, as well as supplies and toys. Super friendly and helpful staff too.

the dried fish skin treats are the grossest, most vile smelling things you could ever possibly imagine. which makes them perfect for the dogs because every time I even go near the bag they COMPLETELY LOSE THEIR MINDS. but they are high quality local smelly things made with care.when comparing the two things they lose their mind over, (these skins, and rabbit poop) these are definitely the better option. thank you!!!! I order these on a regular basis :)

My go to shop with all the things you need. Local and healthy food and treats make me feel good about what I’m giving my dog. Amber and the staff are fantastic. She even remembers when I first got my dog and brought her in - always quick to give her love and treats. Highly recommended.

I do my best to feed my rescue doggo. I visited Boston area briefly and got something for her.. Dogs also need take out food!! She absolutely loves treats from Polkadog and she doesn't get her stomach upset (she is a pom mix with sensitive stomach). Treats are not cheap but you get what you pay for.. They are really high quality treats. I will buy there occasionally when I and my husband go out 😊

This is the sort of place that will make you glad your pet doesn't have a credit card! Beautifully curated, they do a fabulous job of having every treat and chew imaginable, plus toys, food, coats, leashes and even poop bags. My parents' cat loves the catnip toy selection and my dogs try to drag me in any time we're on the block. Their own brand of treats is made largely from sustainable, local ingredients. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and always ready with a snack or two for your good boi.

My 2 dogs had a blast here. They loved the lady working at the store the day we visited (she had tons of treats). Polkadog had great, healthy treats that your pup will go crazy for. I'm glad I finally got to visit a store. There's more of a selection in store than online.

I love Polkadog! I've been twice now and I spent way too much money both times, as is the case whenever I enter a pet store that I love. Lots of stuffed toys, bags of treats, many many jars of loose treats, etc. I love to get a bag of treats for my dogs before heading home.

Great place! Hadn't been here before, but my girlfriend and I swung by after breakfast to get some small birthday treats for our puppy and loved the whole store! The staff was very helpful and courteous and we'll definitely be going back for their super healthy and natural treats!

This place is amazing. My dog goes bananas for their treats (so far she's liked them all). Her favorite though, are the hand-rolled cod skins. Love this place!!

Polkadog, regardless of location, is amazing! This location in particular may not have as much variety but it has all your favorites like the yogurt chips. And my pup also loves coming and choosing her own bones. Whether you’ve been to one of their locations or not, definitely worth checking out! It’s also, to me, the easiest to get to via public transportation.

This location is smaller than others in the chain, but they have plenty of room for their signature homemade treats. Given the size it can feel a bit “overstuffed” at times but nice to have another city location.

Our dog and cat love the treats from Polkadog Bakery. We always stop by when we are in town. They especially love the Clam Chowda and Chicken Littles. Will be trying out delivery to renew our supply for the spring and summer.

This was a gem of a find while on my visit to Boston. My husky loved all of the treats that I brought home for him. The staff is great; very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be ordering online from them.

I can't say enough about this company. Years ago I bought a pink water bowl at Target in Florida where they had featured their products. Well the bowl 7 years later needed to be replaced but my poodle Cinnamon wouldn't drink out of any other bowl. I tried to find them online but didn't even know the name of the company since all that was on the bowl was an emblem of a dog. I found an old article about their feature in Target. Found the store on Facebook and called the store in Boston and the guy I spoke to said that it was discontinued but might have some left in storage. He found them in the warehouse for me and sent me all he had left.Thanks to himmy baby will now drink water again Best customer service experience ever

This is a great store with a wide selection of treats and toys. Prices may be a bit high for some products but they are worth it and natural. The staff is always helpful and offering suggestions or giving a sample depending on the treats.

What a great place! I would say it's a fantastic little place but it offers so much you dont want to call it little!! So many options for my dog, I had a hard time choosing! Definitely added to the must visit list for every time I'm in the North End !!
