If could write a book about how this place is AMAZING I would. First of all they always take care of my Belle for all her services she gets there from grooming to spa day and food. My Belle just had a 1 year Birthday parteyyyy and the gift bag that Amari got for my friends dog were the talk of the party. I can’t thank you guys enough for being in this neighborhood and being such a community store who really care about dogs and their owners. Customer service is 10/10 they groomers 10/10 everything. Thank you thank and I will see in couple of weeks for another appointment.

Local alternative to Amazon and Chewy. Great rewards program.I prefer to buy my dog's food here versus a larger warehouse. He also loves the food, and doesn't have any issues with it. I can trust the food is safe for him to eat.

We just took our 6 month old poodle puppy Ellie here for grooming and it was such a fantastic experience! Everyone was so friendly and Ellie loved the attention. The groomer Mika showed us where our dog would be groomed and asked exactly what we wanted. We were so happy to pick up Ellie with her new cut!

Had such a great first experience. The manager and assistant manager (sorry i forgot their names) are so helpful and nice. My puppy has some digestive issues and they gave great advice. I will definitely be coming back.

I had heard negative reviews due to a lot of turnover but I wanted to give Loyal Companion a chance. After not getting a call that my puppy evaluation was cancelled to super rude customer service from the manager when I went the second time to get the evaluation, I've decided this is NOT the place for me. I would not recommend this store. I am not someone who typically writes reviews but since this is dealing with our fur babies I thought it was necessary!

Great selection of cat items. I do wish they had more options for dry cat food. As someone who is not really a dog person it was nice to meet the new store manager with her baby kitten.

I love having this store nearby! Well stocked food, treat, over the counter medications and toy options for cats and dogs. They also have grooming and daycare services though I’ve never used either so can’t speak to those specifically. The staff are all always SO friendly and helpful. The only bummer is that parking can be a bit of a hassle now that Whole Foods and other restive have gone in around it.

My dog Lucky loves the staff here! Every time we walk in we are asked how they can help and are very knowledgeable. Great addition to the neighborhood. We are super excited to come in to use the self wash when things calm down a bit.Thank you for all the hard work!

Extremely great service, I do not take my dog anywhere else. They're so caring and gentle, and helped me buy the proper brushes and products for my maltipoo's matted coat. I recommend Sabrina and Mika , they're amazing!

Check your receipt before you leave! Many items are not priced and if you ask for a price check they will include it in your charge even after confirming they will take it off. They try to rush you out of the store after your purchase, but take your time to review your receipt. Additionally, some items that are actually priced at a dollar over what the price listed on their website is.

Absolutely love taking my little pup here. All of the groomers are kind, they are so gentle with the dogs, and are completely knowledgeable on their jobs. Ace being a shy dog gets very excited to get into the store every time. He always leaves the grooming area extremely happy and handsome.

The staff are the best people and animal lovers, ever. My puppy's tail got slammed by the door and started to bleed. The staff immediately came over with cleaning solution and helped stop the bleeding. They were so reassuring to me and my pup. They recommended I call my vet and patiently let me wait in the store while I figured out where to take him. They even recommended a nearby animal hospital to take him. They provided me with all the information and everything I needed to get him the vet care he needed. They are SO kind and compassionate. I am so grateful!

Brought my newly adopted dog for a much needed grooming and Mika did a phenomenal job. Our dog was nervous at first but she was able to keep her calm and give her a great cut! The rest of the employees were all super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I started going there a few weeks ago being new to the south end its convenient I never have been to a loyal companion before and let me tell you these ladies that work here are amazing! You can tell they genuinely enjoy their job, your always greeted right upon walking in the door and they are so friendly and know about their products. Our puppy hazel loves coming by!

REALLY slow grooms--they kept my (well behaved) dog for over 5 hours last time we took him without the opportunity for a restroom break. Unimpressed with the quality of the groom and unimpressed with the service. I also placed an order online and it turned out that 2/3 of what I ordered was actually out of stock.

This store is fairly new- it’s got a nice layout and is well stocked. We took our dog here for grooming as this place was closer for us vs. the Urban Hound. I had a few issues- I booked the appointment online, and it said $35 but I was charged $60-70 or so at checkout (can’t remember exactly). There’s also loyalty credits you’re supposed to get on your first visit and for online bookings but that wasn’t reflected on my account. Secondly, I had included a note in there with specific instructions for just a little trim for my dog at the time of booking, and then at drop off, provided these instructions again. My dog ended up having a really short cut which was pretty upsetting for us. We didn’t press any further because the groomer was really nice, and my dog seemed in good spirits when I was picking him up.We would just flag that you should probably confirm your instructions a few times if you’re going to this location for grooming.

The groomers do a great job and the staff is super friendly, but beware - they are super busy! As in will potentially charge you for added services but not actually have time to do them, like teeth brushing.

First of all this store has EVERYTHING. I was visiting Boston for the weekend and needed to pick up food for my puppy. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I had purchased the wrong bag of food and the owner was kind enough to drive a new bag to my hotel. They truly care about their customers. If you are in Boston with your pooch you should 100% visit them!

The people make this store! Liz does a phenomenal job managing, Britney is excellent in the daycare department and everyone is genuinely nice to chat with. Our pup who is now a regular gets Royal treatment anytime she walks into the store but so do first timers. The dog wash is almost always available and is a great deal! Great food and toy supply. Hard to find something negative to say about this place - they even put up with my bad jokes.

This store is a dream for pet owners! You can get everything you need from toys to leashes, beds, and so many food options for even the most finicky dog or cat! They offer curbside pickup which is so convenient and easy to do. They offer grooming and daycare as well. Elizabeth and team are knowledgeable and willing to help every customer find the perfect food, leash or toy for their furry friends! This is a pet store you will want to keep going back to for the customer service alone!

Trying to set up dog care here has been a nightmare. I tried last year, with staffing changes the communication was awful - last minute cancellations, rebooking for 2-3 weeks out, phone calls not returned, etc. I tried again, sending them paperwork in on 6/10, asking to confirm receipt. No reply. I called about three weeks later to check in if they received my email (is a simple reply in email too much to ask?), I was told I would get a call back, nothing. I called again on 7/12 to check in. Amari was robotic, and not friendly at all. I asked her if my docs were received, and her reply was they could see me this week for a temperment test. Great, but that's not what I asked. I said I was not ready for that yet, as my schedule this week did not allow, but asked a second and then third time, were my docs received via email and she finally confirmed. Told her I would call back to schedule a temperment test another time when my schedule allowed and she practically hung up on me. There are so many other options in town for daycare with better customer service. Not sure why I kept trying these folks again....and again. I should have given up after the first attempt and took it as s sign! Go elsewhere for a place that only specializes in daycare - my guess is it's way better run and a much larger space for dogs to run around.
