I was taking a walk and couldn't stop myself from going to the store 'just to check out what they have'. My walk was cut short. Lucky me they have large plastic bags. I have two granddaughters, so you figure...😁 And they have dolls...🤦‍♀️ I left the store $80 lighter. Everything arts&crafts, stickers, Christmas decorations... I didn't look at other stuff. Definitely will go back next week!

Great place to shop for occasional consumed goods and events. Properly staffed. Well managed. Friendly customer service. I asked the lady who appeared to be the manager in order to take photos and she allowed under one condition (not taking photos which include people's in them, so I abided. Just for the sake of full disclosure). This was a professional decision by the manager.

Dollar Tree was pretty awesome! I have never been there before, it was a big store employees were nice and helpful! Big selection to purchase things! I really appreciated shopping there, easy access off the Green Line Train Babcock st about one block away after you get off! I'm looking forward to shopping there again sometime! 😀🙏 The only negative I see about any Dollar Tree is things are over a dollar to buy at any of these Dollar trees! Henceforth the name Dollar Tree should be called Dollar Tree and a quarter or Dollar Tree and a half! Because the name Dollar Tree does not match up! Most everything is over a dollar at Dollar Tree! So I don't know legally if they can get away with this, or they just don't care, because it's false and misleading advertisement if everything is not a dollar and I guarantee you everything is not a dollar! I've been in a few of these to substantiate what I'm talking about! I don't know if they could be sued because the product price is over a dollar! That would be like calling Burger King and just calling it King if they have no burgers to substantiate the name! Same thing with Dollar tree, most everything is over a dollar! Henceforth the name is false and misleading store name advertisement! 🚨😠

Sucked . Shorted staffed and the lines are forever always long. Ever since the pandemic it's been a tragedy and a constant excuse to raise the prices on all the merchandise the Dollar Tree is no longer a dollar store terrible. I'm sticking with Family Dollar I don't know about everybody else when things for sure they never claim to be a dollar store they only claim to be a family discount store I give him that much congrats.

Should have a sign that says no refunds.I specifically asked whether I’d be able to do a return for an item before buying and the sales person (Shandell) said yes. Well…. few hours later, no refunds only exchanges. What a lie.

Check the expiration dates. Got a Monster Espresso cold drink from the fridge, thing was old as the store itself and I nearly puked. Shelves get stocked once a month.

One of the bigger Dollar Trees that I have been to. Centrally located by Boston University and close to public transportation. Because of its size, the selection is much better than most. I didn't an to buy anything but ended up with a bag of coloring books and toys for kids. The store is bright and inviting. Good experience.

Located near the tram station (packards corner, Green T). A very useful shop to buy small kitchen items, glass storage containers, stationaries etc., It's $1.25!

Worst Dollar Tree EVERMore often than not, when I go there I leave empty handed as they never have any inventory. Horribly run and desperately in need of someone who cares.I am absolutely stunned at how many 5 star reviews are here! Has to be something shady going on or they are all older. This store was evev closed for a few days because the manager said everything was sold. Seriously? Id be willing to bet there was no staff. Huge turnover at this place and I even over heard the cashier complaining about how bad it is.

First and foremost, the employee at the register did his best, being the only cashier on a Sunday afternoon. He remained calm and collected, letting folks know that he was the only one in the store. I think anyone who has had a public-facing job felt terrible and appalled about the situation.I got what I needed, and this store is more stocked than the one in Dorchester. That being said, I was in line for 20+ minutes.

Good range of products if you know whatTo look for and when! As someone who works with kids they always have amazing finds. Also, the staff are awesome to me. Be cool and people will be nice to you 🤷‍♂️

There are few items for everyone you can buy from here without hurting your pocket. Be choosy be wise. Do some holiday decoration shopping there. You can also get some kitchen items at reasonable prices, but please do a proper quality check before buying. I will not recommend to take any food items from this store though but there are some options and you can check wisely if anything is suitable for you.

Be careful. I was in this store today. The seller was unfriendly. When I came home, I saw in the receipt that she counted one thing twice, but most importantly that several things (including the one that was counted twice) were simply not in the package. I understand that they are not expensive, but it is a waste of time, and this attitude is unacceptable.👎👎👎

I love this store. They carry everything you could possibly want and then some. I have to set my visit limit to $20.00 or I would buy way to much. The staff is so friendly and helpful if you can't find something they are more than willing to check the back room for you before you even ask. When you check out the lines might seem long but the cashiers are so efficient they can ring you up, bag your items and still have a pleasant conversation with you. Even the management is on the floor helping stock or ring and the Commonwealth Ave store is incredibly well organized even the gift bags which is amazing. So when they do have to raise the prices from $1.00 to I think $1.25 it's still the best place to go. **FYI For some reason (as of last night) there is a hand written note on the door saying they are closed with no reopening date. However the lights are on and the store is fully stocked but I would call before heading over.

One cashier with 20 people in line , you might take 10 minutes to shop but you will be in line for a half hour unless they open a second line ,then you will be in line for 15 minutes

This place always has only one cashier ringing up. The lines are long and slow moving and there’s never more than one register open. Don’t come here if you plan on a timely shopping experience.

It's a discounted store where each item costs exactly 1$ (plus tax). Most of the items you will buy here will be of substandard quality but definitely value for money as no other place has such cheap stuff. A major part of the store has decoration and gift items which can be easily skipped. Also avoid the food items and eatables and buy only the brands you trust when it's food. Rest everything can be trusted by checking the quality. I spent almost 2 hrs here and ended up buying tons of stuff for my new apartment.

Sometimes they're good and sometimes they're like today, March 18 2020, - 2 hours past opening and the lights are on, but the store's still locked up. Some lady just came along and asked people to give her 5 minutes to open the store. Which turned into 15-20 minutes. Because that's what you do when you're already 2 hours late. It was a great store when it opened, but went downhill fast.

I love this store with passion. Just like my story as you go in expecting to buy $10 worth of stuff and spend $60. The amount of stuff you go there and come out with is amazing and I still use all of it. Or used it. Frozen section is my favorite there is so much good stuff in there to keep your stomach full. The whole place is great and everybody in the world should know lol. The service is fine now too

So are they open or not? I come here three days in a row; the light was on, the inventory was stocked. Is it scheduling issue? Don’t make me waste my gas driving here if the store is not open. Gas is not cheap these days

This store has been closed last week and this week. No reason why or a day it'll be back open, just a hand written sign on the door. Not sure why the company allows this. I've been to many dollar trees, and have never seen a store randomly closed this much. Maybe they need a new store manager?

Love this branch! This is the best dollar tree I've ever been too. It has everything that you don't find in other branches in the area. Very organized and easy to find what you're looking for. I wish I had known about this branch earlier.

Overall I love dollar tree but the last two times I have visited my experience has been less than pleasant. Firstly it took a ridiculous amount of time to get to the front of the line to pay for my things. The second time it was 10 minutes before closing and they didn’t allow me in to make a purchase that would have taken 2 minutes. Both of those experiences reflected poorly on an employee named Jeff. I will hesitate before going back to this dollar tree again.

Clean and well stocked, but often crowded during the school year. Great selection of snacks! Lots of useful kitchen and organizing basics, and even a reasonable selection of condiments and packaged foods. Loads of seasonal stuff.

This store is very unreliable. I have been to this location on 4 separate occasions and everytime it’s either it’s closed for inventory or for construction. On the last trip there I called and they said that they were open for business, got there about an hour later and it’s closed for construction. I would go to another location unless you want to waste your time. Just horrible!!
