The service at the pharmacy is absolute garbage. A worker, probably a pharmacy tech told me to wait. An hour later, I check in because this is crazy; just to find out my prescription is still on hold & the original person never did anything. Thankfully the Black girl with the bob in a pink hoodie at drop off held it down. The other Black girl in the light gray kikiing is trash. I hope the rest of the year is a good as her work ethic.

Awful. Got an email saying my order from the photo department was ready hours before and not only was it not made, but the blatant lack of care and overall confusion kept me there for over a half hour with no one helping me or anyone else in the store. Order was never made had to leave without the gift I had planned on.

Horrible UPS access point service shelves are not even half full with boxes and parcels and will not accept UPS packages acting like they are stuffed I had llittle parcel multiple times and they act like it's full. they are just lazy and others don't want to get the gun and not properly trained to use it which they have been vocal about and now they dont even bother to say that and pretend shelves are full even complainingto each other in front of me that they wish cvs didnt do ups access points huffing and puffing instead of doing their job. Absolute waste of time no matter if I was first in the morning when they opened at 7am.

In line with other people's experience, this place is absolutely terrible. Never filled my prescription with zero notice as to why, every single time I call they "pick up" the phone without saying anything.A 1 star review isn't low enough.

Absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever done business with. I’ve waiting on hold for hours at a time. My doctor recommended I switch pharmacies. While trying to switch new pharmacy said it would be a while because this location doesn’t answer their phones. Chronically understaffed. Asking rude and invasive personal questions for the whole pharmacy to hear. What an absolute mess! Do something good for your health and don’t use this disaster pharmacy. They also made mistakes routinely because of the staffing issues. Are you willing to harm your health because they can’t keep anyone in staff??

To start, the pharmacy here screwed up my prescription. There are always boxes and pallets lying around inside and outside the store; it’s fairly dirty in the store. They seem like they’re usually short staffed.

Tried to order 10 photos, but after I had picked up and paid for my prints I realized when I got home that they'd only printed 2 out of the 10 photos. When I called the employee who answered said that they were aware of the fact that their printer wasn't working and I was going to have to come in to discuss with the manager. I'm surprised that they thought it was appropriate to barely fill my order, not inform me, and let me leave missing most of my photos. On top of that, if I wanted a refund I would need to go in and argue my case with a manager. I will say that I've never had any issues with their pharmacy, but outside of that shopping at this CVS is always headache inducing. Thankfully there's a Walgreens up the street that's always clean and much more organized, so I'll be taking my business there since I don't feel the need to argue over a $13 photo order. This place is always crowded, so I doubt they'll miss my business, but figured I'd warn anyone who needs photos printed that this is not the location to do it.

The pharmacy never answers the phone and if they do they, they’ll answer and not say anything until you give up. Very rude and unprofessional staff; it’s super annoying when this is the only cvs in the neighborhood.

I live within walking distance so I am able to stop in instead of being on hold for hours, which doesn't make a difference. There never seems to be enough people working at the pharmacy. I can see why they are in a bad mood, it looks hellish for customers and employees alike. Transfer to another pharmacy if you actually need your Rx.

I have never had so many problems with a pharmacy in my life. They never answer the phone (I've been on hold for hours before) and when I do get through, they're not always helpful. I was told that I couldn't request for a prescription be prepared on the phone and that I'd have to go to the pharmacy to ask them to prepare it - even after I explained that it was a prescription for my infant who I'd need to bring with me. So I had to go to the pharmacy, request the refill, and wait for an hour with my 3 month old.

I honestly wonder if this place has something shady going on, because they obviously aren’t focused on filling legitimate medicine. I’ve had the app claim my medicine was filled, then when I go to pick it up, they’re out of stock… recently, they only filled half my baby’s antibiotic for his ear infection because they didn’t have the right bottle size? Then when we tried to get the rest of it, they claimed they were out of stock. Also, all the pharmacy employees are constantly angry and indignant if you ask a single follow up question. That behavior is so ubiquitous, it’s almost as if they’re trained to behave that way. I’m starting to wonder how this place stays in business at all.

Scheduled a covid booster and flu shot at this location. Showed up on time and was told the pharmacist was running late to work and that the pharmacy was closed. We were told to.come back in "maybe an hour but I don't have an exact ETA." ... Great.I went back home, called in about an hour and sure enough the pharmacist was there. Headed back to the pharmacy and was met by the mother of all lines.Have currently been waiting for 75 minutes and there are still 8 people ahead of me. The one pharmacist has been handling only prescriptions for the last 40 minutes while his two CVS helpers are also serving people getting prescriptions.This place is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from the CVS on W. Broadway in South Boston.

Dumpster fire. There are too many problems with this pharmacy to list in a single review. The last straw for me was when I made an appointment for the booster shot online. CVS sent me multiple confirmations for the appointment, including a reminder just 1 hour before. Well, I took a day off work and I show up and patiently wait in line only to find out they're out of the vaccine and they've been out for days. I understand that there may be high demand for this shot, but CVS didn't bother to let me know until after I wasted my time signing up for an appointment, scheduled a day off work, traveled to the store, and waited in line. Worst of all the pharmacist was really rude about it, like it was some kind of great inconvenience for her to spend 30 seconds explaining this to me. She told me to go online and make another appointment, but I've had enough of this place. The last time I was here they had the vax vial and needles sitting out in a corner of the store, unguarded for anyone to tamper with. And the store is a magnet for the homeless; I respect homeless people, some are very sweet - but I definitely don't want to be injected with needles that they've had access to without any supervision. Fortunately, there's a very nice Walgreens just down the street with competent pharmacists and a private room for vaccinations. Save yourself the hassle and go to Walgreens to begin with.

I have to send a big THANK YOU to the young lady (blonde and wearing a red sweatshirt) working in the pharmacy and the male pharmacist with round black glasses. They rushed my prescription because I told them I needed it badly and did so when they really couldn’t have been any busier. Thank you for your help!!!Also a wanted to add on here that Emerald at the pharmacy was kind and efficient, she made my day! Thanks again.

Terrible phone service. Even worse in person. Wait in one line, just to be told to go stand in another line. Then told to go back to first line. Had to go to 2nd CVS across town to get service and meds. Aweful.

The staff at the pharmacy needs to learn how to talk to people. This is the 2nd time I’ve come to pick up a prescription and my experience wasn’t good. The girl at the pick up window is extremely rude and doesn’t have any people skills at all. I wasn’t able to speak to her due to me having dental work done. So I gave Her my license and she never took my license from me. I had to actually stand there and hold it while she entered me information in. The woman at drop off counter was rude to the customer who was before me. Then she rudely told me that my medication won’t be ready for another half hour. She never gave me eye contact. The staff at the pharmacy needs diversity classes or maybe they shouldn’t work with the public.

The pharmacy service has to be the worst service I have ever dealt with. I have spent 5 days and numerous hours just to cancel a prescription. They never pick up the phone. My suggestion would be to try some place with better customer service. There is no way to cancel a prescription on line.

I’ve never posted a negative review before, but to echo all other reviews — it’s truly impossible to get the pharmacy on the phone. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been waiting on hold for 2 hours. Totally unacceptable.

Can never reach the pharmacy, always on a 40min-1 hour hold. They always pull my medication but never fill it, so when I try and get it filled at another pharmacy they’re unable to because its “processing” on their end for 2-3 weeks. They either need more staff or better management..

I don’t even know why is there people working in this place. The customer service is horrible. No one wants to help. I came in looking for off counter medicine I asked the cashier she told me to go to isle 16, I looked there and I didn’t find it. I went to the pharmacist and the pharmacist was BEYOND rude told me “do you have a question regarding the pharmacy?” I said no and didn’t even let me finish the question when she said I had to ask the people in the cashier, went back to the cashier and she said I had to ask the pharmacy. First time I go to a CVS and a pharmacist cannot help. I come to this CVS for the convenience as its near my house, but honestly if you can avoid coming here. Everyone is beyond rude and disrespectful

Without a doubt one of the most unorganized and poorly run businesses I have ever been in. I go there 2-3 times per month to pick up prescriptions and every single time I enter there is a large line, several people waiting around for prescriptions that “are being filled now” even though the customer was notified that the script was already filled, and worst of all there is always confused /frustrated elderly people waiting around for hours for their prescriptions. It is also impossible to speak with anyone via phone, if you call you will wait for 30 minutes and then it will just disconnect. I can’t imagine what’s going on behind the desk of the pharmacy, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place goes under investigation soon for mishandling medicine.

TERRIBLE PHARMACY. I get the same prescription every month, gets sent to them on the same day.For the past SEVEN months they have not had the prescription for me. Take on average 2 weeks for them to fill a prescription they get every single month.Service at the pharmacy itself is awful, they don’t care that they are preventing you from getting your medication and causing me health issues.Last time I was there, the lady at the pharmacy yelled back to another worker asking if they had any of my medication in stock. Always feels great to have your medical issues announced to an entire line of strangers without your consent.Whatever you do, do NOT use this pharmacy.

The pharmacy NEVER, NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!! THERE ARE MANY TECHS. That get a call in the morning, afternoon or evening to work at a different store, to keep this problem from happening. Some of this medicine 💊 if not all is needed on an emergency basis! Then the ER gets overwhelmed with the things that the pharmacy should be doing! I will never use this pharmacy again. I don't care about their phone problems. FIX IT.

It is utterly absurd just how poorly this cvs is run. Incredibly rude staff, everything in complete disarray or out of stock, long lines, and I once again want to emphasize how rude the staff is. The thing is it was like this before the pandemic. Now with the way things are I understand the labor market is tough, but it is uncalled for with how aggressively stand offish they are.Pro tip- don’t call this store. You will be placed on hold for over an hour, and then they will just pick up the phone and hang up to get rid of you.

This CVS has the legitimate worst customer service I've ever experienced, not the workers faults they are fantastic- the employees are just spread thin. Actually impossible to get ANYONE on the phone. Corporate, DO BETTER, back fill and hire more people for this extremely busy location. I actually dread going to this pharmacy.

The pharmacy always has ridiculously long lines (plan for 20-30 min in line) and twice after waiting I’ve had to leave and come back because they didn’t even have the prescriptions filled. They really need to look at improving their process. Go elsewhere if you can until they do.

Go to a different store. Do not come here for any of your basic needs. Don’t come here for anything in fact.The pharmacy is the most disorganized mess I’ve ever seen at a CVS anywhere in the country. No one ever seems to be in charge. Communication is awful or non existant. You’ll be lucky to have your prescription properly filled. Not one competent person works here.Just don’t come to this location.

I have for a number of days been unable to contact this store by phone. It has caused me considerable frustration. The ability to get a live person is sometimes critical in matters of health care. So this fact alone should be a deal breaker to anyone looking for a reasonable standard of customer service.Stay away or add a prescription for migraines to your list.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Most unprofessional pharmacists. Will look you right in the eye and say your medication was never sent there right after you received a message from them saying it was ready. Horrible attitude and staff.
