CVS is always busy, a great place to grab just about anything you can think of! Update, CVS on Harrison Ave seems to need better management! Too many people cannot speak English that are working there, most don't seem to care too much about customers. I used to like this CVS but since it's been taken over, by those not able to communicate very well with their customers or would rather be on the cell phone, it has gone downhill. It is convenient, but that's about it.

The store was crowded. They had boxes all over the place. There never be anyone at the register. You have to wait for 10-15 minutes before the cashier's even recognize that you are there waiting at the register. These businesses do not care about who patronage their business; all they want is for their products to be purchased; nothing more or less. The manager is not inviting or understanding.

This CVS is great for where it is. It is right by the HI Boston Hostel and has all the essentials all in one place. They have one gallon sized water as well as 1.5 liter water bottles when I went back in late September 2021.They also have ready-made sandwiches near the front of the store in the refrigerators. I also saw that they had the tuna kits with crackers and mayo in one of the aisles. I'd highly recommend this place if you're staying nearby and need to get something quick.They're open until 11PM while most other stores closed pretty early nearby. Not sure about parking because it was walking distance from the Hostel.

Wouldn't wait on me unless I used self check out! I'm not an employee. I'm not receiving a discount for doing someone else's job! I'll never do business with any CVS again! Take some guidance from Market Basket where there is plenty of customer satisfaction...AND NO SELF CHECK OUTS!!!

It's a CVS. I go here literally every night before work and sometimes in the morning after I get out. Today the refrigerators are locked and it means you have to wait for someone to unlock it for you. The makeup remover wipes are locked so you have to wait for someone to get it for you. Every single thing I want and regularly purchase is locked and you have to wait for someone to get it for you. This CVS is on a major route of foot ravel between downtown and south station and thus people with luggage are frequently in there and yet still people in there don't know how to make space when you're trying to move down the aisle with a bag.Sandwiches are like $7 here and it makes me depressed whenever I see it, because I want one but I'm not gonna spend $7 on a sandwich.The staff are really cool, they're good folks. I'm sure the spot is chaotic to work at and they do an awesome job. The other shoppers are frustrating when you're trying to maneuver around them and have somewhere to be lol.Someone recently changed their self checkout firmware on the pinpads so now you get asked for a pin regardless if you use credit and it's sort of annoying lolThe CVS is right next to the St Francis shelter, so there's usually security that hangs out and walks around and you'll frequently find yourself followed if they don't recognize you. They recognize me because I told one of them he couldn't park in my alleyway once. 😇 The Chinatown stop is right next to the entrance, so there's usually a crowd of people who are unhoused or making use of the shelter. They're okay and 99.9% of the time aren't going to bother you.Boylston street side entrance is closed in order to better prevent people stealing.If you perform the ritual of egress under the full moon facing west from the entrance, it opens up a secret cavern beneath the CVS that you can use to find buried treasure.

This Pharmacy is awful, the pharmacist is inexperienced, arrogant, unkind and should not be dealing with patient prescriptions!The other CVS pharmacy on 55 summer street is much better managed with patient and customer centric attitude.

I have never in my life been a part of such blatant racism in my life! After a long day, I decided to go and get some water and a snack. I walk into this CVS and from the moment I walk in I have a member of the staff following me, peeking around the corner, literally running around the aisle to get the the other end to get a look at me browsing the store. I'm not the only person shopping in the store at this time. What I am, tho is the only black man shopping. It's 2023. You don't follow someone around the store from the moment they walk in and browse just because they are black. I'm extremely upset and feel this person should be retrained in racial discrimination !

Who writes a review about CVS? Apparently I do. I will literally walk a mile to a different CVS before going to this one. Every.single.thing. is locked up in individual clear boxes. God forbid you need multiple things… let me just take the associate around the whole store with me and unlock each section for me!! Keeping both shoplifters and customers away!

Great locations, nice selection of cold drinks. Popped in on a hot day to hydrate and got in amd out quickly with coconut waters. Fast and easy self checkout stations are available. Store was clean and tidy.

It is disgusting that you allow NON-SERVICE dogs in your stores. A woman was walking around with a dog on a really long leash, so it was not well-controlled, and it was not a well-behaved animal. Countless people have trauma, allergies, etc. when it comes to animals. Additionally, you sell food, so it's just gross that there are untrained animals walking around. Obviously, I would not be complaining if this was a legitimate service animal, as seeing-eye dogs are trained to exceptionally high standards, and a blind person's need outweighs mine. But in this situation, non-service animals should not be allowed in your stores. It's disgusting, it's uncomfortable for others, and it's unfair to your staff.

whenever I go to CVS or Walgreens or possibly somewhere downtown you always want to have a snack or some kind of dinner for homeless and Street people! You want to show them that you care! You've been in their position, so you approach them with compassion! I wish I had a team of people to help me feed them! But as for CVS They have friendly staff to help you! Their manager is really nice too and very helpful! They like Walgreens have really good product buys at times! Who would have ever Thought that you could go to CVS and get great box cereal buys? And some of them are better than the huge grocery stores! and they have pop on sale a lot Pepsi mountain dew Coke you name it! I love going here just for the friendliness of the staff and employees! I highly recommend this as one of the top CVS on that side of town! I really love that CVS now gives you coupons on your receipt when you shop instead of waiting quarterly to give you your coupon money updates they now give them to you every time you shop and this is money for your next time at CVS that you can use and you can let it build up until its expiration date you really want to get some things and you don't have to pay full price with them because you've got these coupons to back you up!

This is such a scam place! I am one of the victims! Some thief or hacker stole customers, who used to visited this place, credit card information and spent thousands and thousands of money INSIDE!!! Of course at CVS branch level they don't have authority for reimbursement, so customers went to their bank to file claims. Several months later, the merchant fought back to the bank and stated that those customers visited them within past years, CVS doubted these must be "acting fraudulent", so bank refused to pay back to customers, because customers must received benefits on this, and customers have to eat their lost!!! How can a regular person in a pharmacy and convenient store can spent thousands and thousands of money??!! To buy what??? Think about the common sense, CVS! you saved your money but you lost your reputation!!!!

the worst service on the world, you should shut down the passport photos. Zero technology for doing the photo why you still open the passport photo to public. They never know which picture is acceptable for the government.That is funny! Do you want to cheat to the customer.

THIS CVS is basic and utilitarian. I just had my prescription transferred here from Beth Israel from a 3rd yr psychiatric resident. I don't why someone would need to spend 4 years of residency for medical school on a psychiatric unit. Perphenazine is the medication I am requesting. It helps normal people to understand me. They are quite mean to tell me my thoughts are disorganized. Their thoughts are slow and disorganized. I need to ask them "How do you want me to act?" They are listening to my voice characteristics which change. I can do dozens of unique voice impressions and not break character. I prefer CVS and like the food I can buy with EBT Food Stamps. Convenient and I can avoid mugwumps at the supermarket. I am a google reviewer that was invited to Google Tour Guide Program. I have several reviews to complete to reach the highest level and get invited to Google events and test Google products/services before they are available to the public. I volunteer for Google.

the layout of the store is a little weird small and confusing but the selection makes up for it once you get in the main part of the store again not the BIGGEST or best but it will have almost everything you need has a really good fragrance selection also WAY better than the one Downtown next to Mcdonalds if you are looking for some. staff is usually pleasant and they have plenty walking around to help you. slightly more expensive than some around in this area of DTX but not more than 10c MAX so if you find yourself here its better than looking for another. right next to Also the Orange Line Chinatown T Entrances Oak Grove & Forest Hills are directly across each other And the Green Line Boylston Station is just One Block Away up the street 1 Minute, so perfect as well if you come here by train its literally 5 feet outside their door. not bad for a standard CVS if you ask me!

When I checked out this lady help me （FATIMA ）was steal my money！ The total price was $3.17 and she said $4.20 and she still asking me gave her three more penny. Good CVS but there are homeless people all around it and sometimes they go in the store with their masks down and cough the staff are good also just not a very good environment/neighborhood

Pharmacy staff is not knowledgeable about rx. Slow to process then being told rx expires after 5 days when a month ago they told me it expired after 7 days. Extremely unhelpful, offering no suggestions or advice. Would not go here again. Will stick to walgreens.

I've been coming here for over a year for my medication....the regular employees are awesome...but for some reason there was a new pharmacist.. she was rude and dismissive... bc of the medication I think she was being judgemental
